BBW, What are you wearing under the dress?

I am still trying to figure this out too! FH think's garters are really sexy so I was think of maybe doing that for him. But who knows, we may be so exhausted we'd just fall asleep and then it would be a waste.

I'm a 40DD also and I'm wearing a white corset... I went to a little shop that only carries bras, corsets and what not they are great with making sure everything is wear it is supposed to be. PLUS the corset gives me a little extra shape too

I am going to be wearing this bra cause I heard good things about it. and not sure about the bottoms yet lol mainly focusing on making the top part comfortable for now

I have NO chest...and can't wear a bra because of the low back on my dress...so the lady doing my alterations has to sew something into the top of my dress......

i'm trying to figure out what to wear under the lower half of my dress....Spanx were suggested because it will smooth out the look of the dress...but i'm worried about what will show during the garter part of the reception....???

Terri I'm having the same problem. My dress is extremely clighy so ill prob wear spanx through the ceremony and take them off at the reception (or at least before the garter toss). Bad idea??

Mika -- what about spanks tops?? Is your dress off the shoulder or strapless?

I have a halter dress, but I can't wear a halter bra, because my boobs are so heavy that halter bras hurt my neck terribly.

I spend a lot of money buying a bra that I didn't even used, I wanted a extreme push-up bra since I don't have a lot of boobs and wanted to looked more full the top part of my dress, but it pushed my sides up and looked like I had a lot of fat on my sides under my arm, I ended up wearing regular push-up bra that fitted perfectly with my dress.. as underwear, I saved the best for wedding night , I wore a regular spandex panty that pushed in my stomach and made my waist looked smaller.

I'm still trying to figure this out myself as well. The top part of my dress is strapless, sweetheart neckline, and the shape is corset. I still want to wear something b/c I'd probably feel completely awkward with no bra on under my dress LOL. I want a semi push-up just to make myself feel more sexy and I don't want my dress to swallow my boobs HAHA!

I'm a 34C, but I'm wearing a La Perla longline bra and Under Armour compression shorts, lol. My wedding dress is pretty poofy so what I wear on the bottom doesn't need to be skintight, and those shorts are comfy and wick away sweat!

I'm a 42DD and I went out and bought a fairly expensive Lane Bryant Bra (I HIGHLY recommend them) for the wedding. Turns out, the way my dress is designed, it looks way better with no bra on. It'll take a bit of getting used to, but you should check to see if your dress has the same feature.

Mine is a corset back and it has these bra strap looking things behind the modesty panel.

I know you're thinking what I was thinking when the seamstress told me to take off my bra. "My boobs are going to look terrible and sag like no one's business." Much to my surprise, it's much more comfortable and looks great!

For me sexy and church don't mix. Plus I am changing after the reception formalities and before the DJ plays Cotton Eye Joe.

I'm a 32F, so I'm small but the bubbies are heavy and I haven't gone bra-less since the 3rd grade, except for a few nights in Vegas.

My dress was way more comfortable and looked way better without a bra than it did with one.

Remember when you order the dress, the sample likely doesn't fit the way YOUR dress will. So I wouldn't buy anything until your dress actually comes in and you get a chance to try it on without. Like Kimmi said, you might be surprised, it shocked the bejesus out of me.

FTR I did not go sexy for wedding night. We ended our wedding day soaking our aching feet in the jacuzzi tub at 5am, eating leftovers from the late night snack. We got busy in the morning.

I had a wonderful wedding day but at the end of it, the last thing I felt was sexytimes.

I was just in Old Navy today and found their version of Spanx / Compression shorts and cami's. Never saw them in there before....Best of all...instead of paying $40 or more for Spanx -- Old Navy's are on sale for $9.97
