Leanna and Kevin met in March, 2010, on the mother of all hipster dating sites, OK Cupid. Inspired by her cool and good-looking friend Gina's foray into the online dating world, Leanna joined the site on a Saturday afternoon and received her first message from Kevin the very next day. Over a series of OK Cupid messages, the pair discovered that they had lots of interests in common: good food, indie music, and Paul Rudd, to name a few. They met for drinks a week later at the Weary Traveler Free House in Madison. It was there that they discovered that they lived about half a block from one another. ("Only in Madison," they sigh.) Leanna really enjoyed Kevin's company and thought he had very cute ears, but wasn't sure if he was into her-into her until he kissed her goodnight! Lee and Kev, as they are known to each other, soon became inseparable. They bonded over a shared love of ridiculously expensive restaurants, bad puns, good wine, thunderstorms, and travel. Kevin taught Leanna how to love Philadelphia sports. Leanna taught Kevin about the genius that is Raymond Carver. And their mutual respect and admiration for one another continue to be evident to all.
