Also, loving some of the sandal/flat options here if you're looking for inspiration!

I'm actually starting in flats and changing into chucks!

We're playing disc golf, so I needed some "full coverge" shoes.

My chucks look like the Tardis from Doctor Who, and are in my sapphire blue. Smiley smile

I'd love to think I'll be in the heels all day, but I've got these for back up Smiley winking

I have another pair of awesome heels for the after-party too so my feet are going to be a WRECK the next day I'm sure. I may need a piggy-back ride out of the hotel!

Haha I bought sandals to change into and put them under the head table. I never used them. When my heels came off I went barefoot.

I'm wearing heels as long as I can and then am changing into flats.

I changed from my 4" heels to flats as soon as pictures were finished. I put the heels back on for the first dance and then right back into the flats. It was like heaven.

I wore heels and changed into platform flat sandals. They were the same height as my heels and were perfect. I'm so glad I did because my feet would have been on fire if I hadn't. My MOH let me borrow them. Heels and sandals were both 3.5 inches.

I had my original pair of heels (tried to break them in, not really successful), had my backup pair of heels (broken in, same height as original heels) and then flip flops.

I should have. Around 10/11 p.m. I just took my shoes off and danced barefooted, lol.

I'm planning on changing into flats or TOMs, but I'm going to try to find platform sandals because I like how I look in my dress when I'm "taller". Now where to find good platform sandals...

I'm not planning to change shoes. FH and I have been taking ballroom dancing for about 2 years now, and my wedding shoes are ballroom heels, which are actually super comfy! :-) I may bring some flats or flips just in case, though.

I am hoping to wear a 1-2" heel all day. BUT I will totally be bringing some slip on flats to the reception JUST IN CASE. I would hate to be super uncomfortable for the dancing.

I wore my wedges until we were done taking photos and then I changed into flats before we entered the reception. Best decision ever.

ETA: I changed into these actually. Super comfy and matched my colors.

My heels were KILLING me (yes, I'm yelling) during the ceremony. I had a very full skirt to my dress and a pretty long train. I remember thinking to myself, "If I kick my heels off right now, no one would notice."

I had flip flops at the end of the aisle to change in to before I went down another flight of steps. I could not do another minute in my heels. I had them on for hours and did a ton of walking on uneven ground.

Yep, changing from pumps to wedges. I can't imagine dancing on bricks in heels! I need a bit more stability or my clumsy self will be on the floor in my gown.

I'm going to be my 5'1" self the whole night, and I don't even care. It's not like FH is tall, so flats it is!

I actually wore the flats for the pics/ceremony, and then switched the heels for reception. I am not sure I could have done our choreographed dance in flats.
