I'm a heel girl! So If I could get away with wearing as many as possible on my wedding I would... that being said I have two pairs, one for the ceremony and one for the rehearsal (as of now). Smiley winking

After we finished the ceremony and pictures I changed from my heels into funky mismatched socks and loved it! I was so comfortable the rest of the evening!!

YES. My heels for the ceremony are pretty high and I know they're not going to last all reception. I'm doing the flip-flop DIY dancing shoes basket so I'll probably just change into one of those for the reception

I'm planning on wearing my heels for pics, ceremony, and first dance/father-daughter dance and then change.

Hoping that J. Crew will either restocks these, or that I can find them on eBay, Poshmark, etc.

I kept my heels on all night. They weren't super-high, though--3 inches max. My feet hurt a bit after dancing most of the night, but it was worth it. :-)

I climbed 5 flights of stairs in my wedding heels for photo shoot - never again! After bouquet toss I was walking around barefoot. It felt great Smiley smile .

FH has requested that I don't wear heels at all. He says I'm not all that steady when walking in them. (I actually do better at higher heels than pumps.) However, I do not want my feet to be hurting or worrying about the hem of my dress. That being said, I don't have shoes to wear yet. I want pretty wedding shoes, but I have a hard to fit foot (small & narrow). FMIL keeps pushing me towards pointed toe shoes, "They look so pretty in pictures". I hate them. My feet are not pointed, therefore I will not shove them into a pair of shoes not shaped like my foot!

I'm looking for flats. I don't function well in heels.

I wasn't planning on changing. I thought my shoes were comfortable all the way up to the day. I didn't plan on changing and boy do I regret that!! Ladies, have a back up plan for shoes even if you think you don't need it!! I literally couldn't stand in my shoes after the ceremony and barely made it to the grand entrance. I only had black flip flops in my room that the coordinator had to run up and get otherwise I would cut my feet off! At least I wish I had white ones! But no, they were black and all I can do now is hope they don't show up in the pictures!

I absolutely was not planning to change my shoes. They were comfortable, I broke them in, and purposely chose heels with a 2 inch heel instead of something taller. Well at the last minute I grabbed my sparkly sandals from the morning and I'm so glad I had them!! I really underestimated how being on your feet literally all day even in the most comfortable of heels can end up with sore feet. I'm so glad I could change my shoes and dance the night away-- and it's not like anyone could notice!

Ok so I wore heals during the ceremony and had a pair of wedges to change into for the reception, But I didn't have much time to change into them and was too busy enjoying the night, so I never went back into the dressing room to get them. Besides, when my feet hurt out on the dance floor, I literally kicked them off and started dancing barefoot....LOL. The bottom of my dress is so dirty Smiley sad But I had the time of my life, so yea.

I wore white fancy flats for the wedding but then changed into my croc flats for the reception. If I dont have arch support my feet go numb. I could car less what my shoes looked like. Hubby wore black dress shoes for the wedding but put on his tennis shoes for the reception.

I'm wearing a slight heel for pictures and with my girls. My FH is my height so once we are together I'm switching in to flats.

Since I'll be 7 months pregnant at our wedding, I'm definitely going to wear flats most of the day. But I want to have a bit of a heel or at least good foot support for pictures, since FH and I have such an extreme difference in height (4'11" to 6'0")! I'm still on the shoe hunt, so ladies keep posting those pics - lots of good ideas!

My plan is to rock the heels all night long, butttttt I am being realistic, knowing myself and that I may want to take them off, I'm bringing a pair of gold pointed flats just in case
