Are Wedding Favors a Must?

Not a must at all ! It’s an extra you can do if you want.
I don’t think any guest goes to a wedding hoping for the favor. They go to the wedding to see you say YES to your love.

I didnt do any favors. I've never enjoyed the favors when I've gone to weddings so I didnt do it myself. I also had way too many people comment on the amount of favors left over at their weddings.

Honestly we are not sure if we will be giving them yet due to our budget. I haven't found any that are reasonable we have a guest count of 200 so its pricey.

I'm skipping favors and doing donations to charities we care about in the guests honor instead.

We're doing a sweets table for our favors! I've heard from several people that if it's not edible it usually gets left behind or tossed out

We are not doing favors, we would rather put that money into the experience like the open bar or some late night snacks. I agree they are a waste of money and it’s nice to hear people are thinking the same thing! I went to a wedding recently that did not have favors and I think most people probably didn’t even notice.

Nope! We are spending the money on late night burger and fries instead of favors!

Honestly, I’m not sure we are having them either. No one really wants a coaster set or bubbles with my wedding date on them, and some of the nicer favors are just so expensive. I think they’ll be too busy having fun with food and dancing to fuss about favors.

We aren’t doing favors. We are doing a kids table with entertaining activities #yourewelcome 😂

OMGGGG! I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I truly feel like feeding and providing alcohol is more than enough. If you can swing it great, but if not, no big deal. I have been to a bunch of weddings; even parties, and I typically don't take the favors home because they just end up in the junk drawer.

We’re having a photo-booth and the pictures will be personalized with our wedding date, names, etc. I’m leaning towards that being the favors for those who want to participate and not worrying about it anymore

My best friend loves to do Candy tables its like her specialty and since I am not having a bridal party she is dying to put her mark on the day..lol

Chanie, my thoughts exactly. We have 200 guests that we are feeding and they are having free drinks and a great party. That should be enough.
