Any one else not gonna wear heels on their wedding day?

Erin, on October 8, 2011 at 3:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 62

Me and my fiance are the same height so ive devided i just want to wear some cute flats on our wedding day. I dont like it when the bride is taller than the grooms, i just think it looks awkward! Plus me and heels dont get along too well! Anyone else not wearing heels?

I'm wearing heels, but that's because I love them and my fiance is almost a foot taller. Smiley smile I love flats though, too (they are typically what I wear)...and I know there are a ton of super cute flats out there!! Have you picked out your fancy flat footwear yet, Erin?

I didn't wear heels. It was a beach wedding, so yeah, didn't happen. lol. I'm tall but DH is taller, so I probably would've worn heels if it wasn't on the beach.

I really like these, they look dressy enough for a wedding!

I am not wearing heals. Found the cutest silver flats at WalMart the other day. They are perfect for the theme and color for my wedding so I got them. Got a matching pair for my daughter to wear to the wedding as well. Lucked out big time that day!

I wore heels for the ceremony and changed into cowboy boots for the reception.

Erin those flats are cute! I was at a wedding last night and she wore ballet flats. Worked for her since she was super tall already and a little awkward in heels Smiley laugh

Im having knee surgery this coming wednesday, and my wedding is 6 weeks after...so I kinda have to...it was really hard to find a pair of flats that worked for me. I ended up ordering some from the place I got my dress, but they're really plain. But I guess thats least of my concerns. (:

(Yes, I know I have been called crazy by many for doing the knee surgery right before my wedding, not really a choice kinda had to be done now.)

I think for the ceremony I'll wear heels, but for the reception and dancing, I might change into a pair of white Converse.

Definitely no heels for me. My FH is the same height as me and I don't like being taller than him. Even if that wasn't an issue, I basically never wear heels in my daily life anyway. I'd rather be comfortable. So I plan on wearing some sort of ballet flats.

I was thinking about doing a low heel for the wedding. FH is several inches taller than me, so I'm not worried about that. I just haven't worn heels in a really long time and I'm worried about comfort for the whole day. Although, those ballet flats look super cute and comfy.

No heels for me I don't think I'll be wearing shoes at all we are having a beach wedding and if I do end up in shoes I was thinking about buying the white rainbow flip flops that have the crystals on them

My FH is only about 3 inches taller than me so I'm opting for some sort of flat as well. Something not too 'grandma-y' has been my biggest challenge though :[
