Me and my fiance are the same height so ive devided i just want to wear some cute flats on our wedding day. I dont like it when the bride is taller than the grooms, i just think it looks awkward! Plus me and heels dont get along too well! Anyone else not wearing heels?

I am wearing flats.. but that is because i dont wear heels EVER.. I work in a job where i craw around on the floor so dressing up and wearing heels doesnt fit in to that dress code..

I'm trying to convince FH that him and the guys should wear converse so I can match them.. we'll see what happens... I think I'll have the ladies wear flats though. I'm on the lookout for some cute wedges though. We'll see Smiley smile

I just made the decision not to wear heels ;( FH is only 3 inches taller than me and me in heels makes us same height or taller. I don't like the idea of me being taller than him in our photos. So flats it is.

    I like those shoes.

I won't be wearing heels. I have worn heels maybe twice in 4 years. I am pretty clumsy, and I am really scared I will trip. I get really nervous sometimes, and I also trip over my own feet a lot. I will be looking for some shoes which are somewhat flat. FH and I are pretty much the same height too, so I don't want the pictures to look like I am a lot taller =)

My FH is only an inch taller than I so for the ceremony I plan on wearing something flat under my floor length gown but for the reception I be will rocking a fabulous pair of heels to compliment my tea length party dress. FH has already blessed off on the idea.

Black Chucks for me and the whole wedding party! FH is over a foot taller than me (I am 5'2" and he is 6'4") so it wouldn't matter if I wore heels or not, but we are having an outdoor wedding and I don't want to worry about the heels getting stuck in the dirt. So I just decided to wear Chucks like he is. Then it kinda bled over to the bridesmaids as well. LOL The pics are going to be awesome. And funny. Wonder how many double takes we will get from the wedding guests?! LOL

I'm wearing flats! Blue for the ceremony and sparkly for the reception. Love them.

I usually wear high heel shoes (about 4 inches) on a day to day basis that put me almost as tall as FH. I think I might go the flat shoes or kitten heels route though for the wedding just so I look shorter than FH

I'll be wearing kitten heels for the ceremony and ballet slippers for the reception. I'm not a big fan of high heels for myself.

No heels for me!! I don't like 'em and I always get commented by all my friends "no heels?? why? you have to wear heels!" not for me. I bought a pair of white canvas Toms. my dress will be long anyways so who cares?!?!

Flats would be adorable too! My sister had flip flops on for her wedding!

I wore 5 inch heels for the ceremony and white platform flip flops for the reception but we did so much dancing that I was dying by the end. I would where flats if i could do it again. My feet were swollen for like 2 days.

I wore white sneakers for my first wedding. It was an outdoor wedding on uneven ground. I would have broke my neck in heels back in those days.

My DH towers over me - for the ceremony I wore 3" heels but for the reception I had bridal slippers on - the one thing I wish I had done was have my dress hemmed for the slippers and not the heals because my dress was dragging on the floor all night and the guests kept stepping on it and all the buttons for my bustle got ripped and I ended up throwing the train of my dress over my arm.

Ladies...the biggest wardrobe mistake I made was the 4.5 inch heels. I was in serious pain. I had to ditch them and put on Plan B shoes. The problem was the dress was hemmed for the 4.5 inch shoes, so my dress dragged and was a major problem! I couldn't even put on my plan b flats. They were even worst in the dragging department.

Be comfy on your wedding day. Or, make sure your plan b shoes are the same height as your plan a shoes.

I plan of wearing flats as well... My FH and I are the same height and I would feel more comfortable if I wasnt a giant to him on our wedding day!!... Its funny, I was wondering the same thing if it would be ok to wear flats. But as I read other posts, I'm glad it'll be fine!! :-)
