Wedding details
I met Brandon last spring when he crashed a party at my home. (OK, some mutual friends brought him along.) He wound up singing karaoke and drinking sangria with us until 3 in the morning, and crashing on my floor. We were friends for a while, and at one point even bet dinner and drinks that I was wearing the correct bra size (I won!). Getting together involved nudging from mutual friends and a six-pack of Heineken. Wow, I make us sound like lushes, don't I? A year later, he dragged me out of bed early to go to brunch, then insisted I take a walk with him down Pennsylvania Avenue. Then there was a speech. I totally didn't get it, that is, until he was on one knee with a ring. I did some shrieking, and said, "Thank you! I mean YES!" His parents came to town and took us to dinner, and afterwards, Brandon suggested we go to a local bar to grab a celebratory drink. The bar was filled with about 25 friends from all over DC and New York, ready to celebrate with us! I can't wait to see how he surprises me next.

2715 days agoI'm making my own bouquet with costco flowers, and I'm trying to get a sense of how big I should make mine. Show me photos of you preferrably holding yours for scale, and tell me how tall you are! They say that petite ladies should have smaller...

2715 days agoLadies, show me your wedding dresses and tell me how tall you are please. I'm a petite bride, 5'1, and realize most of the models in wedding dresses are a good deal taller so the dresses would look much different IRL, especially on a shorter bride. ...
