Tatjana and Charles of Wrinkle in Time Photography were warm, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. I discovered Wrinkle in Time Photography while browsing a blog on which I saw some of the most beautiful and enchanting wedding photos I have ever seen, they were of an outdoor summer wedding in Ithaca, NY. I tracked them down and, as it turned out, Charles and Tatiana were based in Brooklyn and, at the time I was living in NYC, even though I was planning an Ithaca wedding. It was perfect! We made plans to meet and the rest if history. Charles and Tatiana are the most talented wedding photographers I have met to this day and they also happen to be two of the most kind and wonderful people I have met in my life. They really took the time to get to know me and my fiance (now husband!) over the months leading up to our wedding and we became so comfortable in their presence that our photo sessions, both for our engagement photos and wedding photos, felt so natural and organic and I think our pictures look all the more authentic because of that. Charles & Tatiana are artists, they are not your typical wedding photographers. I wanted authenticity and artistry from my wedding photos, and they far exceeded my expectations. Being a couple in love themselves, they get it, they really do. The understand the emotions around every moment between a couple and even the couple's family and friends, and they capture it all so well. They are so intuitive and attentive. I still tear up looking at my engagement and my wedding photos. They all take me right back to the very moment they were taken.
In addition to being talented artists, they are also both true professionals. On the day of our wedding (and everything involved before and after that day) they were always on time, efficient, flexible to any changes we needed to make even if they were last minute, they were poised, discreet, thoughtful, and always so generous with their time and with their advice...and they always had such great advice for us (from styling tips to planning tips to sneaking us away from the party for a few minutes to get a few photos of us in front of the sunset). This is the highest rating I have given to any of my wedding vendors, and if I could give them 6 stars I would. LOVE. That pretty much sums up our review of them. My husband and I searched high and low for the perfect photographers. And WIT was more than perfect. I found them after looking at hundreds of different bogs. I stumbled upon their photography blog and instantly fell in love. I loved how pure and crisp their shots were. They capture events and emotions so well you feel like you're actually there. I avoided all the regular photographers because I didn't want cookie cutter images that I would probably look at a few times and toss into a closet. I wanted a time machine. I wanted to be able to travel back to my wedding day and feel what I felt, see what I saw. I knew the moment I saw their work, my search was over.
Initially we felt really odd and awkward in front of the camera, since its not everyday you have people snapping photos of you. But they really made us feel really comfortable, and gave us great direction. It all started with the engagement shoot, which kept on getting delayed and postponed by us until we couldn’t hold it off any longer. It was shot 10 days before the wedding and they worked extra hard and put together a slideshow for our wedding day.
Tatjana and Charles are incredibly friendly, easy-going and all around awesome to be around. I can't tell you how many guests told me how much they loved our photographers! They were there for everything. They will do anything, go anywhere to get the perfect shot. They aren't just interested in taking your picture, they want to capture your moment in a way you never thought somebody could. Unlike other photographers they were not pushy and obtrusive at all. They captured moments I didn't even know they were there for! They are incredibly passionate about photography and it really shows in every image they take. They have a truly unique vision and I am so grateful to have found them. Everytime I look at our wedding pictures I relive the best day of my life.LOVE. That pretty much sums up our review of them. My husband and I really wanted photographers who could think outside of the box when it came to shooting such a traditional thing like a wedding. What attracted us to Wrinkle in Time Photography was the visually stunning and candid moments that they seem to captured. We were not disappointed! They spent the entire day with us. And everybody loved them- from our family and friends to the innkeepers of the property the wedding was held. We got so many beautiful and unique images and could not have imagined having anyone else as our photographers for this once-in-a-lifetime day!My husband and I really wanted photographers who could think outside of the box when it came to shooting such a traditional thing like a wedding. Wrinkle in Time has provided us with the most beautiful memories of the most important day of our lives. The pictures of our wedding day capture the joy, the fun and love we shared. We love the atistic still shots of us as well as the fun party shots at our reception. Tatjana and Charles made us feel completely relaxed infront of the camera. They were quick to understand our style and personality and adapted their photographs to capture the spirit of who we are as a couple and what our ceremony was all about. We will recommend Wrinkle in Time to all of our soon to be married friends!Wrinkle in Time has provided us with the most beautiful memories of the most important day of our lives. Thorough and passionate do not even begin to describe their attention to detail and commitment to making your experience unforgettable! They are so much more than just another "vendor"... they felt more like family by the time our wedding day arrived.
I cannot begin to tell you everything that they did to make sure that our wedding was nothing less than magnificent. They captured our most intimate moments, making time stand still, when it would have otherwise been a blur. The photographs so candidly depict all of the days emotions, telling a story far more incredible than words alone ever could. The joy and laughter will be preserved for a lifetime bringing us much fulfillment and excitement time and again. We could not have asked for anything more!

Tatjana and Charles were amazing while planning our wedding, and especially on our wedding day. The photography was beautiful, and the prints are spectacular. They really went above and beyond. Every photograph had such lovely attention to detail. It must have been challenging shooting a wedding in a crowded park in New York, but all the photos came out great, and didn't have any bystanders in the background. Looking at the pictures now, it feels like we were alone in a fantastic garden. They are such fun people too, that we had such a blast hanging out on the wedding day.Tatjana and Charles were amazing while planning our wedding, and especially on our wedding day. We met Charles and Tatjana in the Cloud Forest of Monte Verde in Costa Rica. The connection was immediate and palpable. We spent all night talking, laughing and sharing with the evening ending with a decision to travel together the next day. Within the first 30 minutes of talking, Charles asked us if we were engaged. We had been living together for 2 years and the future was inevitable for us but had not officially used the word “engaged.” He told us that they were photographers and if we wanted our engagement photo taken in this amazing location they would be happy to take it. The seed was planted.
The four of us traveled together letting the universe guide us. On a day-long hike up a volcano we came across the most beautiful overlooks we’ve ever seen. We asked the couple to take our photo. We are pretty untraditional people and I’ve always hated the stuffy format of engagement photos I’ve seen. So I was pretty uncomfortable at first. I think they could pick up on my discomfort and as Tat took photos, Charles asked us to tell them how we met and gotten to this point. We began to tell them our tale, getting more relaxed and natural. Soon the camera did not exist. Charles and Tatjana did not exist. Even the jungle did not exist. All that existed was the man sitting in front of me, and the story that we were telling each other. The photo shoot ended and we knew that that was our official engagement– a moment of mutual understanding and story shared not just with each other but with these remarkable people who knew the key to make beautiful photos while letting it feel real and natural.
8 months later we had our wedding with family and friends. Charles and Tatjana drove from New York to Wisconsin to share the day with us and capture every moment on film. Words fail me and my eyes begin to tear when I try to tell how brilliant, marvelous, beautiful, comfortable, natural, wonderful, real, fantastic these 2 people are – not just as photographers, but as human beings, as friends, as family. They interacted with our families as family members, they bonded with our friends, they laughed and cried with us. They were fibers in the fabric of our wedding – they were there as our friends, our guest and as photographers, but no one seemed to notice the cameras. They did not get in the way, they were as much a part of our ceremony and party as we were. And the photos that they took absolutely take my breath away. I couldn’t have dreamt up more imaginative, stylish, gorgeous shots that captured the energy, the day, the moment, our love.
I am in awe by these two unique amazing people. Their talent is beyond words. Their professionalism and dedication is a rare find. Their honesty, friendship and love – love of their job, love of each other, love of what they are photographing – blows me away again and again and is so prevalent in each gem of a photo.
Thank you my dear friends for documenting one of the happiest moments of my life, thank you for capturing our love, our connections and our lives. Thank you.

First and foremost, I have to give a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Charles and Tatjana for everything that they’ve done for us. Our engagement and wedding pictures are absolutely amazing! We shared them with all our friends and family, and we’ve received nothing but compliments on how beautiful they came out. In addition to that, we still feel surprised and honored to find out that our pictures were featured on a few wedding blogs and even in New York Magazine! You know, marrying Lisa was already something very special to me, but Charles and Tatjana made it even more extraordinary. I constantly think back to how much fun we had during our engagement and wedding days. We felt so much at ease and comfortable during the entire time, and we are so grateful for their professionalism, their talent, and most importantly, their kindness.
When initially searching for a photographer, there were a number of factors that were important to us. We wanted someone who had an excellent eye and the ability to capture the magical moments, someone who knew how to use the beautiful backdrop of the city and landscape, and most importantly, someone who genuinely cared about their clients and their work. From their first correspondence to us, it was apparent that they cared about us more than just collecting our checks. Not only did they satisfy the factors mentioned above, they went above and beyond to make our wedding the most memorable of our lives. These guys are incredible! We never imagined that a wonderful friendship would develop through all of this, but it has. Charles and Tatjana have been a true blessing in our lives and we are sincerely grateful to have them be a part of our wedding.
The pictures, the memories and the experience is something that Lisa and I will treasure forever.
