Ruthie was incredible! She was able to capture the most special moments and incredible details from our day! My husband and I are not the kind of couple that could take serious photos in the slightest and Ruthie made us both feel at ease while capturing a variety of amazing shots that truly looked like us! Her attention to detail cannot be overlooked. There are photos of our food and floral/table décor that I know on the wedding day neither my husband nor I were able to fully appreciate. Lastly, when going through my album I saw Ruthie had somehow captured my niece peeking in on me getting dressed and my grandmother and I holding hands in between pictures- both of these warmed my heart to have. Our happiness is palpable in these photos and I can’t thank Ruthie enough for that!

I can not believe how amazing Ruth was!!! She was super nice to everyone! She made sure she for every shot of the wedding! I've seen a few pics so far she's amazing!! You should definitely hire her for any event you may have and need a photographer. She is extremely professional as well!! Just absolutely amazing! I can not say enough good things!

Ruth Eileen did both our engagement photos and the photos for our wedding and we truly loved working with her! We got endless compliments on our photos and Ruth was amazing to work with. We hired Ruthie for both our wedding and engagement pictures, and we can't say enough good things about her! I'm very camera shy, but Ruthie made us feel comfortable and at ease the entire time! We've gotten endless compliments on the photos, and we couldn't be happier with Ruthie's flexibility, responsiveness and wonderfully warm personality! By the end of our wedding we felt like she was one of our oldest friends!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ruthie. Photography was extremely important to my husband and I and as a result we looked at multiple photographers. After a brief phone call with Ruthie, I knew she was the one I wanted to work with. I immediately felt at ease chatting with her. She’s incredibly warm, personable and genuinely cares about each and every one of her clients.

Throughout the process, Ruthie was organized and professional. She kept us on track with payment reminders, wedding day questionnaires and helped us create our wedding day timeline.

We got off to a bit of a late start on our wedding day (our fault- not hers!) and Ruthie and her team (thanks Kyla and Beth!) kept me calm and worked quickly and efficiently to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted.

The final results blew us away. Ruthie perfectly captured our wedding- every detail, every moment. I couldn’t have been happier with the way our photos turned out. We’ve gotten so many compliments and I will truly treasure them forever!

We worked with Ruthie of Ruth Eileen for both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. She was an absolute pleasure to work, super professional, and her work was beautiful – I highly highly highly recommend her! We thought our engagement session might be a little awkward and uncomfortable, but she made it very relaxed and fun! And on our wedding day, she captured absolutely every little detail with ease. One of my close friends (bridesmaid at my wedding) also recently hired Ruthie for their engagement and wedding pictures because of the positive experience she and her fiance had with her during our wedding day.

Ruth Eileen captures magazine worthy shots that are so elegant, artistic and professional. I loved our pictures and how she captured every moment and emotion so easily. Her pictures don't compare to others out there. There is a difference between being an artist and doing photography as a hobby- Ruth is an artist! I also love how bright and pure her pictures come out. They are heavenly!!! She is so very sweet and friendly to work with as well!

Ruthie is a fantastic Photographer and person. We lived in California at the time of booking and hoped we made the right choice, never having met her. We were immediately put at ease when we met her for the first time at our engagement shoot. She made us laugh and got us to be comfortable in front of the camera and didn't make us do anything that we felt awkward doing. She was flexible with communication and open to ideas. When we saw her again at our wedding, we felt like old friends! Our wedding photos came out so beautifully, with some being digital and some from film. She innately understands light and composition and instead of us choosing places for photos, we let her choose where she thought would photograph best and it was SO GOOD. We recommend her 100%. We also used her Photo Booth for our wedding and it was so much fun! We love Ruthie and her team and you will too!

Ruthie is AWESOME. She's just amazing. She's so talented and creates such beautiful shots, but she's also so down-to-earth and friendly. We felt like we had a best friend there taking our photos. She takes the time to get to know her couples - to plan out the day perfectly, to understand what particular details matter most, and to really provide a customized experience for the day. We just love her and honestly felt like we were losing a friend when it was all over. Luckily, we've stayed in touch and will definitely use her for other big events in the future. I can't say enough about Ruthie. She's just so sweet, genuine and EXTREMELY talented. You'd be a fool to go to anyone else.

Ruthie did a wonderful job for us on both our engagement and wedding photos! She was professional, responsive, and easy-going--just the kind of person you want to have with you on the big day. My family all commented on how nice she was. Kristin also gets a shout out- she did a fabulous job getting shots of the guys and was so kind. Also, to my husband's happiness, Ruthie and Kristin weren't too visible during the ceremony (he hates that!). They were behind the scenes, yet somehow managed to get every shot. We received our online gallery in about 1 month and have already ordered a gazillion prints! Plus, she even sent us some unexpected gifts, and she takes so much time to beautifully wrap everything. Our only complaint was that there was some miscommunication the day of the wedding and as a result we missed about 40 minutes of our photo time. Although, we still can't figure out exactly what happened, so it may not be due to them directly. At any rate, we would absolutely recommend Ruthie!

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Ruth Eileen Photography, she is an absolutely sweet and kind person. She made us feel so comfortable every step of the way, from being super organized in the planning process, to using our engagement session as 'practice' for the big day, to keeping us on track on the day of the wedding.

Ruthie and her team were amazing to be around on the day of the event, they were so professional and had a calming presence for the bridal party. You could tell how passionate she was about allowing us to experience the moments of our special day while they were capturing them. It felt as if a good friend was photographing us - they made everyone feel at ease.

And her work itself is top notch, I loved all of the creative pictures she captured from our day, from quiet moments between me and my husband, to honing in on the tiny details of our reception decor, to the candid moments of friends and family on the dance floor. I am so happy with the results -- they're pictures we'll cherish forever!

I just saw my wedding photos for the first time this week and they are fabulous!

When I first started shopping for wedding photographers I knew I would hire Ruthie after talking with her for just five minutes. She was just so nice and friendly and made me very exciting to work with her. I was also really impressed with her website, blog and online reviews!

Our engagement shoot was a great experience. My fiancé and I were not looking forward to it at all because we thought it would be super weird to have a stranger photograph us for an hour. Ruthie made us both feel really comfortable and we got some amazing photos! :-)

On the day of the big event Ruthie and her team showed up on time and ready to go. I was amazed at how well they did at making the bridal party feel comfortable and how well they with all the different personalities. They also blended in all night too. I never felt like I had a camera in my face and was able to enjoy the evening that much more because of it!

I would hire Ruthie all over again. Our photos are amazing and something my fiancé and I will cherish for a lifetime!

Ruthie did an amazing job capturing our wedding. We could not have asked for better photos. She & her assistant (Anna) made us feel extremely comfortable. It did not feel like we had a camera in our face the entire night. Nothing seemed too posed. Everyone felt pretty and handsome. Everyone felt confident that the photos were going to be perfect. When does that ever happen?! Once we received them, they were better than we ever imagined. Ruthie caught all of the fun we had on the best day of our lives through her photographs. We can't express enough how happy we are with our wedding photos!! Ruthie is THE BEST! We felt so comfortable around her and our pictures show it. We just got our pics back this week and I couldn't be happier! They were everything I could have wanted! Ruthie was a doll! So sweet and really listened to what we wanted! She helped menstay on track with time too, which was a big help. We got all the "normal" pics but she did a great job at capturing the energy at the reception. The wedding day was such a blur it is hard to remember everything that happened, but thanks to the pics I got to see some moments I would have missed out on. I would definitely recommend Ruth Eileen Photography to anyone for not only wedding photos but photography in general.
