Wonderful experience, beautiful photos!
After receiving a recommendation, we used Frank for family photos and we could not be more pleased. Not only are our photos BEAUTIFUL, we feel like we have a new family friend. Frank was amazing to work with, from his communication to flexibility, I wouldn't change a thing. I wish we would have known him when we needed a wedding photographer because our experience with him was night and day from the last photographer we worked with, in the best way. Excellent photographer!
Frank is a fantastic photographer. You can absolutely trust him with your important photos, and if you're lucky enough to secure him as your photographer, you should absolutely do it!
My fiance and I had an engagement shoot with Frank last week. We just received our photos, and we love them! Frank took us to a busy park in the middle of downtown San Jose. At first glance, I was doubtful that it would be a good background, but he looked around, found amazing spots, and made it look simply magical. Frank has an eye for incredible composition, and was able to direct our poses and expressions so that we looked great in every shot. He showed us what he wanted us to do and helped us achieve the looks we wanted, and he explained his reasoning for his directions each time, which was so helpful.
Frank was energetic and excited and professional and "on" during our whole shoot, and he made us feel comfortable and glamorous. Even though we are unaccustomed to being in front of the camera, by the end of the session we felt great, and our pictures show it! People have been absolutely LOVING our photos -- friends have said they're the quality you'd expect to see on a magazine cover.

My husband and I were able to book little over a year advance for Engagement session and our Wedding Day with Mr. Frank. The pictures he has taken for us came out beautifully for both of the Session. He was also able to work a price for us and with what we would want and what we need. My husband and I would be having Mr. Frank again for our Family Photo session after we have our baby in January! We saw Frank's work after looking at a friend's Instagram page. So we set up a meeting - Frank was very friendly and professional, and willing to work something out to fit our budget and needs. He and his assistant Jeremy handled the entire wedding like pros. We could tell he knew what he was doing. He was enthusiastic and confident and put us at ease so we felt like we didn't have to worry about the photos, which is a huge relief on the big day. Everybody raves about the photos now that they have seen them. We are really glad we went with Frank, and we highly recommend him. Frank is a fantastic individual and an amazing artist. Frank has an great personality and is extremely easy to work with. He has a great eye for wonderful shots that captured the love and joy at our wedding. Frank and his team went above and beyond during the wedding, staying two hours past their original planned end-time. In the end, we received over 700 touched up photos, all of which were perfect. Working with Frank was a great experience and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer.Frank is a fantastic individual and an amazing artist. Frank has an great personality and is extremely easy to work with. He has a great eye for wonderful shots that captured the love and joy at our wedding. We could not have been happier with our wedding pictures!!!!! Frank shot a mix of candid and posed pictures which not only made me look GORGEOUS (the most important part ;-)) but he captured the magic of our big day through pictures. He is EXTREMELY personable and talented, we felt that he was genuinely enthralled to be a part of our wedding and his work was most definitely a reflection of that. He was the perfect mix of giving direction authoritatively without being overbearing. I would hire him again in a second; it was such a pleasure to work with him!!!!We could not have been happier with our wedding pictures!!!!! We cannot sing enough praises of Frank and his amazing work. Given that wedding photography was one aspect that our friends cautioned us to not compromise on quality over cost, we're so very glad to have discovered Frank.
Photography is truly in his DNA; he comes from a very artistic family, has extensive experience (about 20 years) in commercial fashion photography, and uses his keen sensitivities to capture and define beauty and the strength of character in his subjects. We fell in love with his ability to take sweeping depictions of natural scenery, and also his ability to capture fleeting expressions of his human subjects. He is also very humble and extremely passionate about photography, which both really speaks to his character. For his style, he seems more comfortable to stage his subjects to maximize the effects of lighting (a nod to his commercial photography days), but he will not hesitate to take impromptu photos when he recognizes a good opportunity. Actually, some of the best pictures he's produced for both our engagement session and wedding day were unstaged photos when we were goofing around with one another, and the level of warmth and depth communicated through these photos are just incredible.
In an age where the profuse access to DSLRs are easily confused with instant (and lacking) talent, Frank's photography skills blows any supposed competition out of the water and really makes you value his raw professional talent. It’s really telling that each time I look through our photos, I appreciate the subtle looks and fleeting moments he captured even more deeply than ever before. My husband and I met Frank at a Bridal Fair at the Fairmont San Jose a year + before our wedding. We went to multiple fairs and couldn't find photos that caught our eye as much as his. They were vibrant and captured the essence of a wedding - love, romance, laughter, and pure joy. He did exactly all that and more for our wedding.
We had a ceremony in a Catholic church with ample natural lighting, which turned out not to be the ideal setting for photographers. Knowing this, Frank made adjustments and was able to work with what our venue had. We also had the reception at a Chinese banquet with horrible printed carpeting. Luckily, Frank captured the perfect moments with the perfect angles so we didn't even notice it in the beautiful photos he took.
Frank was incredibly professional, but also made it very easy. Even my family complimented on my choice. I was afraid that since he did not speak Vietnamese, it would be hard to coordinate with our family, especially the older generation. Luckily, Frank had experience with Vietnamese traditions and was able to coordinate the day with ease. I usually don't need to recommend Frank. Most friends have seen my photos and automatically ask for his info. Make sure to book Frank in advance. Frank is amazing! We met frank at a wedding fair and looking back, I am so glad we found him. He was so easy to work with, very personable, quick to respond, and a great value. Two of my friends introduced me to Frank for the photography of our wedding. I think that was one of the best decision that I made for my wedding. My husband and I were so happy with Frank and his colleagues service. He did an amazing job. He gave us more than 600 photos with excellent quality. After the wedding, everybody were amazed with his job and were asking about our photographer. I am so thankful to Frank and his colleagues. Beside the fantastic job and great quality of the photos, Frank and his colleagues were very professional, friendly and creative. It was very obvious that they put their energy and passion in taking pictures. Our wedding was the mixture of two different cultures and they did not drop any detail of our wedding. He is not only an excellent photographer, he also has a very good personality and he is very honest in his job. Frank and his team are by far my favorites out of all the vendors I used. They are so good at what they do and works well as a team. From meeting Frank at a wedding expo to even after the wedding, they've been professional, so flexible and quickly became good friends with us. The best thing about Frank is he will not compromise his quality of work and give a mediocre picture. Frank truly loves what he does and the work he produces. I can't wait to see the finished pictures and looking forward to my continued friendship with Frank.Frank and his team are by far my favorites out of all the vendors I used. They are so good at what they do and works well as a team. From meeting Frank at a wedding expo to even after the wedding, they've been professional, so flexible and quickly became good friends with us. Having Frank as our photographer for our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. We were having a tough time finding a good photographer and after we met and talked with Frank for the first time, we knew that he was the one we wanted. Not only is he an amazing photographer, he is also an amazing person. He made us feel very comfortable and we felt like we knew him for years. He was there when we needed him and always gave 100%. He took the time to meet with us whenever it was needed and helped us plan what needed to be planned. He is very professional and sincere, and he takes the most amazing photos that you have ever seen. He really puts in his all and it shows in his pictures. We had done an engagement shoot on top of our wedding day, and we LOVE the way all our pictures came out. If I ever need a photographer for any event, Frank will be my go-to guy. This is my very overdue review for Frank. Our wedding was a few years back but I still remember how impressive I was by Frank's service. He was introduced by our Florist and after interviewing 4 photographers, we had no doubt that we should go with Frank. First of all, he is a very amicable person and it was delightful to work with him toward our wedding. He made us very comfortable during all the meetings and respected our budget and provided the best service possible within it. After reviewing his portfolio, I knew that we'll get wonderful photos but he even surpassed our expectation. We were truly happy to see how all the photos came out so beautiful and yet so natural. I also cannot appreciate enough how hard he worked for the entire time he was shooting. Frank is not only a great photographer but also an unforgettable happiness recorder in our life.
I first met Frank through my wedding florist with her high recommendation. He sounded like a very calm and fun person at the same time. I could feel a very good personality by talking on the phone. I almost decided my mind even before I met him as working with a comfortable and friendly person for our wedding shot is the priority rather than the quality of the photos actually. And me and my husband met him in a coffee shop, he walked in and I notice it might be him as he was exactly how he should look like. ;-) he is smiling and looks so sincere and pure just like an real artist in my mind. We talked through about our wedding, the budget, plans and whatever.. nothing to argue, nothing to regret, nothing to bargain,,, nothing to be 'not good' at all ! EVERYTHING WAS JUST SO SMOOTH AND FUN! He was so understandable and I can feel he is a person who is really happy with the others' happy moment and that is why he is working.
During our marriage, as most brides does, I couldn't even catch where he was around to take our photo. Even though we were so happy during the wedding, I was getting to forget what had been going on the day.. , meantime, we got some photo from Frank. !! and We just did WOW!!
I would say he is a magician in capture the amazing moments !! He got all our hilarious moments in our wedding. He knows what moments people want to keep forever. His photos had more moments than what we really have had. :)
Now, 3 years has passed. we have a baby boy, Anthony. And we called Frank again to take a photo of my son on his 100th days party at home. Again, he was so happy to do that, we got another set of the unforgettable moments in splendid quality from the great photographer.

Frank is absolutely amazing!!! He did such an excellent job on our engagement and wedding photos. We have received so many compliments over the years, and it's so nice to have beautiful pictures that capture such wonderful memories.
Frank's portfolio speaks for itself. As soon as we saw his work we instantly knew we wanted to hire him. Luckily, he is also really easy to work with. He is warm, confident, nice, engaging and he gets along with everyone.
