Julie was an absolute dream to work with and truly the backbone of our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, she was incredibly organized, thoughtful, and proactive, which immediately put us at ease. Her calm, confident presence made even the most overwhelming parts of planning feel manageable. Julie attended all of our vendor appointments with us and was instrumental in helping us make decisions on wine selections and tableware, always offering expert guidance while keeping our vision in mind. She coordinated seamlessly with our band and venue to create a clear, well-structured timeline and ensure the setup was executed perfectly. She also went above and beyond by letting us borrow decorative details like votives and easels for our signage, which saved us from having to buy or rent additional items and was such a thoughtful, generous touch. On the wedding day, Julie’s calm confidence was invaluable. Because of her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy our day, knowing everything was in the best possible hands. We cannot recommend Julie highly enough.

We got married at the Woodstock Inn this past October and initially hired Angie as a day-of coordinator. As life got busy and the planning process grew more complex, we upgraded to her full planning package—and it was absolutely the right decision. Angie was consistently supportive, thoughtful, and generous with her time. She was always available for a call, offered helpful opinions and guidance whenever we needed it, and kept us on track so we could enter the wedding weekend with confidence rather than stress. While we chose our own vendors and handled the contracts, Angie played a crucial role in coordinating everyone on the wedding weekend. Her communication and organization ensured that every piece fell perfectly into place. She also worked seamlessly with the venue’s coordinator, and their teamwork meant nothing was overlooked. Beyond logistics, Angie helped with design details, setting up our escort table and even providing her own card box and table numbers for us to use at no cost—such a thoughtful touch. Thanks to her support, we were able to be fully present, enjoy every moment, and trust that everything behind the scenes was running smoothly. We’re deeply grateful for all she did to make our day so seamless and memorable.

Meg is an organizational superhero. She is a nerd for the details, which makes her the ideal wedding planner-- her attention to detail allows you to just focus on having a wonderful wedding day. She is professional, empathetic, patient, and an advocate for your needs and desires. I was blown away by her ability to manage so many competing priorities with ease. The ceremony and reception were seamless because of Meg!

Linda was wonderful to work with and was excellent at handling our ever changing requests. We were organising remotely and she was able to have patience with us to make it all happen.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Placid Planner! From our very first conversation to the final moments of our wedding day, she went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. Her organization, creativity, and calm presence turned what could have been a stressful process, into something truly enjoyable. Elexis listened closely to our vision and somehow elevated it into something even more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. We said it 100 times to each other, but let me say it here: hiring Katy and her team was easily the best decision we made during our planning process. We set out thinking we could do it all ourselves and just needed a week of planner. Vanbee offered us a great solution. We met once a month to discuss progress and to-dos for the upcoming month. Katy kept us organized, on top of things, and was an invaluable sounding board. Having her insight throughout the process without having to break the bank was AMAZING! Could go on for an hour, but here are a few main reasons we loved working with Katy 1) She knows the area: she knows every vendor, venue, and staff member. This means she can come up with recommendations or chat directly with the venue/staff on our behalf. Can't stress how valuable that is if you are not local 2) Shes very organized and fast to respond: we worked using shared google docs. Katy helped us buildout a timeline and to-dos. She kept everything organized enabling us to move through tasks efficiently. 3) Calming presence: throughout the process and especially during the big weekend, Katy ensured everything ran smoothly. She was just so on top of things and able to reassure us (which most couples need at some point) Pricing is reasonable and they will flex up/down to your needs. If you are getting married in Saranac/Lake Placid, just make the smart call and hire Vanbee

Although this review is long overdue, it is filled with nothing but wonderful things about our experience with Kayce Mae. My husband, Bradley, and I got married in September (I am still wondering how it is already 2020). We had gotten engaged in September of 2018 and had done a lot of the planning ourselves, but we were at a bit of a standstill as everything felt unorganized and we could not tell if we had gotten a lot done or nothing done. We got married in Vermont, but live in Philadelphia, so did most of the planning from out of state which made it pretty tricky. It was mid summer and we were planning a trip to VT to get some things organized and we knew we needed to meet with a planner to help us get our thoughts straight. Prior to heading up to VT, Bradley reached out to Kayce and it was a miracle that she still had the date available. She immediately made time to connect with us and made it work to meet us at our venue just a week or so after we connected. Kayce came prepared to tackle every and any task we threw at her. We immediately had an amazing connection with her. She was just so genuine, kind, and immediately calmed all my nerves. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders. There were a few details we were still missing including florals, which was one of the biggest stressors for us and when we told Kayce, she just looked at us and said don’t worry I’ve got this. I explained our budget and sent over a few inspiration pictures and did not have to think about florals again, which in my book was perfect. I actually did not think about them again until the day before our wedding when they arrived and my mind was blown at just how gorgeous they were. The flowers were better than I could have ever imagined or picked for myself for that matter, Kayce got me just right! Kayce put together all of our center pieces and decor around the entire property, like I mentioned, everything was perfect. The details were endless and you could immediately tell the amount of love that she put into our reception. Another challenge that we threw at Kayce was changing our reception location just 2 months before the wedding. At our official first meet up we had met at our original location and talked about logistics and the layout, we thought we were set. Unfortunately, there were a few disagreements with the space and we decided that in order to have our perfect night we would change the reception location and booked another venue, site unseen. When we told this to Kayce we thought she would be mortified, she took the news as if this was just a small bump in the road and we were going to get over it quickly. We got to VT the week of our wedding and arrived at our new venue and it was beyond perfect. When Kayce arrived later in the week she was immediately able to envision exactly what we had in mind. She worked tirelessly all day Friday and all day Saturday to give us the most perfect day of our lives. To add another obstacle to her plate….it was my dream not to have a tent for our entire reception space and the weather was forecasted to be beautiful, but in true wedding fashion it rained on our day and Kayce had to think quick on her feet to save the night. She moved cocktail hour inside with almost 0 notice and then dried off all our tables, benches, cutlery, etc. with any towel she could get her hands on. And yet, we felt as if nothing had happened because she just took care of it. Kayce is what I would define as a Wedding Wizard, I am not even sure how she pulled off half of what she did and yet I think that is exactly how it is supposed to be on your wedding day. Kayce was beyond easy to work with and my only regret was not booking her earlier in the planning process so we could have had more time to work with her. Although, throughout the planning process Kayce became more than just a wedding planner to us, she became a friend that meant so much more. So, if you are looking for a planner or friend, book Kayce, and book her quick because I have no doubt that she is going to continue to flourish and become a hot commodity in the wedding planning world!

Dannie helped us organize our accommodations and our transportation for our wedding through Smugglers' Notch Resort and was wonderful! She was so kind and flexible and also did her best to make sure the transportation she was helping to provide us fit in our budget. She also made itineraries for our guests staying at the resort to ensure they knew the schedule of events for the weekend! Thank you, Dannie!

I hired Destinations Found to be a day of coordinator a little over a month before our wedding and they were SO helpful. I'm so glad I ended up deciding to work with them! Jessica and Haley worked with us leading up the big day and did an amazing job decorating the venue and working with our vendors who communicated to us how they were great to work with and very helpful. Haley even met me at the venue a few weeks before to go over any final questions and helped us find some finishing touches for the wedding. We were able to hand out our decorations to them a few days before and didn't have to worry about any of those details which was amazing so we could be present and enjoy the big day. Thank you Jessica and Haley!

Think again if you don't think you need Erin Spinner, Hoehl to the Mrs., to help you through the wedding day. There were so many helpful tips Erin offered, and loose ends she tied. She is a leader -- taking charge when she needed to -- but always in a respectful way. Excellent judgment, great to work with!
