Patty was truly amazing! We were comfortable with her from our very first meeting - she really made the effort to get to know us. We had our engagement session in March 2019, which was a great way for us all to spend some time together before our November 2019 wedding. Patty was organized and had many ideas and suggestions to help the flow of the wedding day timeline. She was able to direct us and make sure we were ready for the next step, while still making it fun. Even when we had a minor timeline hiccup between the ceremony at the church and the reception at the golf club, Patty managed to ensure we ended up with the best photos of every important moment, with plenty of candid ones too. The wedding day went by so quickly, but once we received our images, we were able to relive the day. We couldn’t have been happier with Patty and her second photographer. Our wedding albums, which we received recently, are just perfect and we are happy to have them to share with family. Patty is so easy to work with, has great communication throughout the process, and truly knows her stuff. We will definitely be working with Patty again for family photos in the future! Thank you, Patty!

Our wedding photos were truly incredible and I cried happy tears looking through our final gallery as we relived every special moment over again. We could not have chosen a more perfect photographer and we cannot recommend Photography Du Jour enough — run, do not walk, to book her services! Shauna is amazing! Shauna photographed my best friend’s wedding and I was thrilled she was available for our wedding date. From our first virtual meeting, she helped us think through our timeline, offered helpful suggestions for creating special moments for just us as a couple, and strategizing how to effortlessly include our big blended family + friends. We were fortunate to work with her for both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day — both in Washington, DC. Shauna and her staff are consummate professionals. Shauna was incredibly kind, helpful, and generous with both her expertise and time with our family and other vendors we worked with to make our wedding a success. On our wedding day, Shauna was a calming presence, seamlessly capturing every special moment without being intrusive. The photos are absolutely stunning — each image tells a story and perfectly encapsulates the joy and love of that day. She even went the extra mile to take a few personal videos for my parents, since we weren’t in a position to hire a videographer. If you’re looking for a photographer who truly cares about her clients and is willing to go above and beyond, hire Shauna and Photography Du Jour. I’m so profoundly grateful to her!

Hayley shot our engagement pictures and wedding in August 2021. She is such a pleasant person to be around and makes you feel at ease. Hayley has a special eye for beautiful moments and is a wizard with editing. During an incredibly busy wedding season, she delivered all 900 of our images only 3 weeks after the wedding! Not only was she just the BEST photographer, but she also followed the timeline perfectly and was essentially our wedding coordinator (because the venue’s coordinator was awful). She kept us on track and corralled all of our family members and bridal party - not an easy feat! What are you waiting for? Book this photographer! :)
