Bob was amazing! Finding an officiant was tricky for me; I am Jewish and my now-husband is not religious, and I wanted to have a ceremony that incorporated a bunch of different traditions. We had two officiants not be able to do it before one of them recommended I reach out to Bob, and I am so glad I did. He was incredibly flexible and willing to do the ceremony we wanted to do. He sent me a kind of base ceremony that I was then able to build on and create exactly what I wanted. Not to mention, Bob is so warm and kind and energetic that everyone at the wedding assumed he was a family friend! If you are getting married in Rhode Island and are hoping to have a less traditional ceremony, Bob should be your first call!

Having Rabbi Vanessa officiate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process! She made our entire experience leading up to the wedding feel so warm and enjoyable. We looked forward to every meeting we had with her, each one felt like a conversation with a friend as she really worked to learn our story and was so thoughtful in how she guided us to express our love for each other. Our wedding was in Providence and we were planning it from Virginia and when we traveled up she welcomed us into her home and made us feel so loved and supported! The ceremony itself was beautiful. We had spent hours talking with her about each section of it and she made sure that we understood the significance while guiding us to add our own personal touch! In one of our meetings we talked about how my wife and I were blessings for each other and why we thought we were a blessing to the other. We weren't expecting it to be part of the ceremony but Rabbi Vanessa surprised us by including it and it made that part of the ceremony feel even even more intimate! Rabbi Vanessa made every part of her process feel so easy and we cannot recommend her highly enough. At the end of our wedding she told us that "we had a Rabbi for life" and little touches like that make her an absolute joy to work with!

Father David officiated our wedding this past weekend. The guests who attended the church mentioned how beautiful the ceremony was mixing Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox traditions. I don't know if any other priest who would be willing to learn about traditions of other faiths and be so excited to do so. Our guests said they loved Fr. David's personality and that he was very thoughtful with his words. My husband and I are very grateful that Fr. David was the one who officiated our vow renewal as neither of my husband's church or my church would do so because of our different faiths. We love how open minded and inviting this church community is!
