She also sent us many examples of "readings" and vows. Roberta was kind, funny and professional. She put together and carried out an amazing ceremony. We can't thank her enough.

Michelle was such a delight to have as our wedding officiant for our wedding at the Crystal Ballroom in Somerville, MA. Her staff member Roberta was very communicative and responsive to our inquiries when we reached out several months in advance, and on the final week leading up to our wedding Michelle was equally assertive and friendly in her consultation with us. Despite myself and my wife not having traditional bride and groom parties, she was very thorough in asking all the right questions about what would be involved in our short but sweet ceremony and even addressed some outstanding questions about our procession we had overlooked — such as if we would have a ring and flower bearer on stage with us, which we hadn't considered before but ended up including. The poems and words she had written out for our ceremony were so carefully thought out and perfectly matched the vibe we were visiting for our day, and she was very diligent about collecting each of our vows from us in advance so she'd have them printed and ready to go at the altar. Her overall demeanor and kind, lighthearted banter was so welcoming to us and our guests and really helped everyone settle into the ceremony and ease any nerves we had. Most importantly she and Roberta were diligent about making sure our marriage license information was prepared correctly far in advance and she was ready to collect it from us the day of our wedding so she could file those the following week. Would recommend Lydon & Co. for any couple who are planning to source an officiant for their big day and want to feel rest assured that their procession and ceremony are in good hands and exert the most positive vibes!

It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how loved and supported I felt on the best day of my life. Michelle played such a major role in that. Everyone was asking us who are officiant was, and whether she was one of our aunts, because she came off like family so naturally. She made our ceremony seamless, personal, and funny.
Scheduling the officiant was admittedly one of the more stressful parts of the planning. We were not doing it in a church, nor was there someone that both my husband and I were equally close to who we thought should play the role, so I worried about finding someone I did not know. But within the first phone call with Michelle, it felt like I had known her for years. She is warm, kind, supportive, and professional, and any couple would be lucky to have her.
