I've been going to Mari Ann for my whole life to get my hair cut (obviously she is fabulous). I also went to her for my wedding hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted (which turned out to be a chignon, which is super common unbeknownst to me) and so we did a trial and the real thing. It turned out absolutely beautiful. I have long and super thick hair, but she made sure it was tightly in and comfortable so it would stay all day, which it did. She also blew out my Mom's hair for the wedding, and my MOH got her hair blown out by another stylist at Karma and it turned out gorgeous. Highly recommend!

We had hired another stylist and makeup artist for my wedding, but ended up needing some extra support on the day of. Two weeks before the wedding, Rosemary stepped in and really helped the day run smoothly. She not only styled my mother and sister's hair for the day (and arranged their makeup), but got me into my dress without causing one hair out of place, and placed my veil so securely that, even though it got stepped on numerous times, it never came out of place! She even watched our photographers cameras while he got his lighting set up for our first look. Thank you, Rosemary, for making our wedding morning go so smoothly!

I had my hair and makeup done at this salon in Media. I had a single process color, cut and half up-do. The hair was outstanding! The red color was perfect for my skin, she trimmed my hair perfectly and my braided up-do really complimented my dress and face without looking either too formal or too childish. Also everyone seems to get along and enjoy their job. Apparently everyone has been there for at least 10 years, which I think is a great sign in an industry with so much turnover. The makeup application was good. She chose great colors that complimented both my skin and hair, and the dress which I had brought for reference (it had pink and blush colors in it). The brand of makeup was something I hadn't used before. It was fine on my skin and looked great but the eyeshadow ran within a few hours. Also they couldn't line my inner lower lid due to state hygiene rules. Not their fault I know but I prefer that look to the one you get when you line below the lash line. I feel like I could have made up my eyes with a slightly better look and definitely stuck that eyeshadow in place myself! Overall though a good experience and a good salon.

Chameleon Day Spa in Media accommodated 10 women for my wedding day. They did up up dos and makeup for everyone! They were very flexible. Many of the girls changed their mind on getting their make up done and the salon was happy to accommodate. They were also flexible with time-some of my bridesmaids got lost! Melissa did my hair and I couldn't have been happier!!! I showed her 2 pictures of what I wanted and she did exactly what I showed her. Prices were reasonable.

Hailey and her assistant were absolute dreams to have on my wedding day!! From beginning planning until the day of we knew we were in fantastic hands! Hailey’s knowledge and professionalism made her stand out at my makeup trial and she perfectly created my wedding day look. She even told me how to reapply my lip gloss, but to be honest I never needed to! In addition to making me feel my most beautiful she made my whole bridal party, mom, mother in law and sister in laws glow! Hailey was so easy going she made even our youngest flower girls feel comfortable with a little lip gloss. We can’t thank Hailey enough for making our memories beautiful, she knew exactly how we wanted to look and made it reality!

Fantastic! I was able to do a hair and make-up trial for my wedding several months ahead of time. I showed the stylist pictures from Pinterest and she was able to copy the style but made it look good for my hair thickness. They also have an area in the back of the salon to take pictures after the trail and they took notes during the appointment so when I came back on the day of the wedding, it was like my trail was yesterday. And my hair and make-up for the wedding was gorgeous, and my bridesmaids were all really happy too! I'm not from the Media area, however, I would totally come back here again - highly recommend!
