We are a physician-owned medical practice in Fishtown, and it is worth saying up front that we do not do hair or makeup on the wedding day. What we handle is the skin work in the months before it, organized as a written plan with dates on it.

An event consultation is one 60 to 90 minute appointment. A PhillyMedClub physician and a licensed medical aesthetician sit down with you at the same time, assess your skin in person, and work backward from your wedding date. You leave with a PDF roadmap: which treatments we recommend, which products, the sequence, a date range for each, and what the whole plan costs. The consultation is $200, credited toward your treatment package if you go ahead. The roadmap is yours to keep either way.

Two people in the room instead of one is the entire point. An aesthetician alone tends to build a plan of facials and peels. An injector alone tends to build a plan of injectables. Both are partial, and neither is well placed to tell you what you can skip. That is usually the most useful part of the appointment.

The provider you choose when you book is the provider who treats you. Injectables, microneedling and radiofrequency treatments are performed by a physician or our advanced practice nurse. Laser hair removal, facials and peels are performed by our licensed medical aestheticians.

On timing, six to twelve months is the honest answer, because that is how long the work genuinely takes. Laser hair removal runs as a series spaced weeks apart. Collagen keeps remodeling for roughly three months after microneedling. If your date is closer than that, book anyway and tell us when it is. A short plan built deliberately beats a long one started late.

We will not treat you at the consultation itself, and we will not perform any treatment inside three weeks of your wedding. Three weeks is the buffer we want in case something needs correcting. The same goes for skincare: do not start a new product in the final stretch.

Wedding parties, partners, grooms, and parents of the couple all book their own consultations, and we line the timelines up against the same date. Group bookings are available. All appointments are in our Fishtown studio; we do not travel to venues.
