My wife and I got married at Owls Hoot a little over a week ago, and we are still talking about how magical the entire weekend was. Truly, we could not have imagined a more perfect wedding experience or a more beautiful venue. Before finding Owls Hoot, I had a spreadsheet with more than 70 venues. One of our biggest priorities was finding a place where we could spend an entire weekend with our closest family and friends, not just a beautiful venue for a single day. We wanted a place where people could stay together, share meals, swim, celebrate late into the night, and make memories throughout the weekend. Surprisingly, that was much harder to find than we expected, especially without venturing into venues with six-figure wedding budgets. The moment we visited Owls Hoot, we stopped looking. We knew immediately that this was the place. Being able to have 30+ of our closest family members and friends stay on site with us ended up being one of the most meaningful parts of the entire experience. Instead of feeling rushed from one event to the next, we got to truly spend time with the people we love throughout the weekend. For us, that was priceless and something we had a hard time finding elsewhere. There is something really special about this place that is hard to put into words. It feels laid back, natural, welcoming, and easy, while also being incredibly well cared for. Throughout the weekend, we received so many compliments from guests about the venue. Multiple people told us it was their dream wedding, and several said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The property is absolutely stunning and full of charm and character, but it never feels overly polished or formal. People immediately felt comfortable there. One of the biggest gifts of choosing Owls Hoot was working with Kerri and her team. Having in-house planning support was invaluable. Kerri helped us stay organized, find creative ways to cut costs, stay on timeline, think through logistics, and make decisions that fit our budget. But what truly stood out was the level of care she and her team provided throughout the entire process and wedding weekend. Ashley served as our day-of coordinator for our wedding, our welcome dinner and our farewell brunch, and was absolutely phenomenal. Together, Ashley and Kerri worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring our vision to life. Every interaction we witnessed reflected professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. We constantly saw them coordinating moving pieces, supporting vendors, and making sure everything ran smoothly. They somehow made a very complex weekend feel effortless, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We also had several guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions, and Kerri was incredibly thorough in making sure everyone was safe, accommodated, and cared for. It meant so much to us and our loved ones. Perhaps the story that best captures the kind of people Kerri and her team are: at one point we thought one of our dogs had gotten loose. While we frantically searched, Kerri hopped on her golf cart and drove around the property at dusk helping us look for her. Thankfully, our dog was simply hiding upstairs under a bed. That level of care and kindness is something we will never forget. The entire team went above and beyond in ways both big and small. They created an environment where we felt completely supported, cared for, and celebrated. Not only was our wedding day the best day of our lives, but our welcome dinner, after-party, farewell brunch, and all the little moments in between made it the best weekend of our lives. We genuinely wish we could do the whole thing over again. We fully intend to come back and stay on the property in the future. Thank you, Kerri, Ashley, and the entire Owls Hoot team. We are endlessly grateful for everything you did to make our wedding so unforgettable
