Windham Manor has 12 bedrooms including a bridal suite and groom suite for preparation. The manor can accommodate 24 overnight guests. It features a large living room, dining room, elevator, gym, spa, private restrooms, and more. The modern and comfortable furnishings make for a restful retreat after your celebrations. Meanwhile, the cheerful facade and classic appearance of the manor itself makes it well suited to elegant wedding events. The property has options for indoor and outdoor soirees. Ceremonies, for example, can take place in the fresh air under the shade of idyllic trees. The other option is the 8,500-square-foot barn that can accommodate 300 guests. This whimsical structure features classic wood accents that make it both traditional and stylish.

The estate is located in the quaint Catskill mountain-town of Windham, close to Manhattan and Albany. The town has numerous options for shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and more. Best Wedding Venue Ever!
Although the forest and grounds are absolutely beautiful -do not sleep on a winter wedding here! We held our ceremony inside the barn for our ceremony in front of the fireplace and it felt extremely intimate, cozy and magical. It was also 50 degrees on December 2nd so we were able to utilize the outside patio with fire heaters for our cocktail hour. So many of our vendors, who work across multiple venues in the North East, described Windham Manor as the best wedding venue they ever worked at. Could not recommend Windham Manor more for your wedding, it is truly the best wedding venue ever!

Susan and Barry Smith are the owners of Windham Manor, the premier Catskill wedding venue, nestled in the Northern Catskills. Susan, a successful entrepreneur and expert in many different fields, and Barry, a long-time New York stockbroker decided to step back from the whirlwind of life in the City and make their beloved second home in Windham, New York their permanent residence. Susan and Barry are the proud parents of two incredible women and grandparents to five.
Retirement for Susan and Barry hasn't necessarily looked like the "kick-your-feet-up" kind of life most people dream of, but this is the life the Smith's thrive in, what gets them out of bed in the morning and keeps them excited for each new day. Susan and Barry poured their hearts into the construction of the Barn at Windham Manor, thinking through even the smallest of details including state-of-the-art soundproofing, low-impact lighting throughout the Barn, and stormwater management - they even found ways to protect the on-site wetlands.
Susan and Barry have a heart to support other local businesses in the area. They have established Windham Manor intentionally to outsource all their event services - from lodging and catering to security and entertainment - to local businesses and individuals. Windham Manor truly is a labor of love.
