From the top, 10/10 would recommend. Shane is amazing. He is very personable. He wanted to meet with us before the wedding so, in his words, there wouldn’t be a stranger at the wedding. He is easy to work with, kind and just wonderful. But what really pushes Shane to hero level for me, our wedding weekend was rained out. I was absolutely devastated because having wedding photos on the beach were so important to me. Shane was flexible and allowed us to take an hour of our contracted time a few days early to take some stunning photos in front of the Bodie Lighthouse and on a nearby beach. I will always be incredibly grateful that he went out of his way to help achieve that goal for me.

Ginger was incredible to work with, she was very responsive to my emails and took the time to know my family members names for our wedding. They were calling for storms on our wedding day and Ginger knew we wanted pictures on the beach so she suggested doing a first look, it worked out perfectly! She was great with all the kids in our wedding party and getting them to smile for pictures, she made everyone feel very comfortable. I highly recommend using GingerSnaps Photography.

We could not be more happy with our choice of having Chad and Genevieve capture our day. They are so talented and captured some beautiful moments of us, friends and family celebrating. Our sunset photos are so stunning! We have received so many compliments on all of our photos. Hands down the best!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My husband and I had the opportunity to meet the photographers for our engagement shoot. We instantly felt a bond with them and the photos came out great! . Neil and his wife made sure they understood our vision, special photos we wanted and executed beyond our expectations. All the guests and family raved how great and personable they were. I am delighted how many truly magical photos they caught of our special day.

Sun Portraits is run by Todd Hale - his photography is beautiful and his prices are really far too low for the quality of his work. We initially booked Todd for three hours of our wedding. On the day of, all the roads to our wedding location were still washed out (there was a hurricane.... it's a whole story). When we called Todd to tell him that there were no roads and we were chartering boats to get people to the wedding he was already en route from Virginia. We told him we'd be happy to boat him over and get him a place to stay for the night, but we wouldn't be able to get him back on the same day. His response? "Sounds like fun!" He started taking pictures on the boat ride over, and didn't stop until he got back to the mainland the next day, giving us a complete photo journal of not only the wedding, but our guests trip to and from. He was even going to come with us for a little after party, but we took too long getting mobilized. Five stars is not enough.

Kristi was awesome to work with for our daughter’s wedding. Very professional! The photo’s were all so beautiful.

He was wonderful to work with! Very responsive with questions. He showed up on time, took great shots and kept things flowing. He knew what to do to make us look great despite the high winds. He was priced well considering the quality we received. I was so happy with our photos! My new husband and I highly recommend!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Sarah and Madeline for our wedding at The Black Stallion, and we cannot recommend them enough! From the very start, they were calm, cool, and collected, which was exactly the energy we needed on such an emotional day. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Each moment was captured so beautifully and vividly. Sarah was the first vendor we booked...before we were even engaged! We just knew there was no better match for us. When she shot our engagement photos, we knew we had made the right choice! Not only was she super chill, but the photos were absolutely STUNNING. We truly could not pick one for our save the date...so we ended up having two! My husband and I were on our mini moon as we looked through our wedding album for the first time, and we were able to relive our perfect day all over again. We were SPEECHLESS. The way these sisters capture emotion is truly special and in a raw, natural kind of way. It has been so hard for us to pick "favorites" because there are just so many to choose from. As we slowly share the photos with friends and family, everyone is blown away by how "out of a magazine" they are. Not only are Sarah and Madeline unbelievably talented, but their presence was such a gift. They blended seamlessly into the day, made everyone feel comfortable, and put us at ease with humor when we needed it the most! I feel like throughout the wedding planning process they became friends of mine, and I will truly miss them now that it is all over. If you’re looking for photographers who will not only deliver breathtaking images but also bring a sense of calm and fun to your day, Sarah and Madeline are the most perfect choice. They exceeded every expectation, we love them, and we’ll treasure their work forever.

Professional photography at its best! The pictures that Jack Ryan did for our wedding were perfect, personable, unexpected and absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. He went above and beyond your typical photographer at an event... his imagination, creativity and expression of art brought out all of the beauty and hardwork that went into the wedding! We can never thank him enough for providing us with a lifetime of memories through his photographs!
