We had the absolute best experience at Hotel Baker in St. Charles for our wedding. From start to finish, everything was seamless, beautiful, and incredibly well managed. The staff truly stood out — especially Elizabeth. She went above and beyond all night, frequently checking in on my husband and me to make sure we had everything we needed and, most importantly, that we actually had time to eat. That level of attention meant so much to us and allowed us to truly enjoy our night. Our guests are still raving about the stunning Rose Garden and the iconic Rainbow Room floor. The setting is timeless, elegant, and such a special place to celebrate. Hotel Baker delivered a perfect 5/5 experience, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding venue.

Absolute best venue! Kelsey & Nancy both made our day absolutely beautiful and seamless. I couldn’t have asked for more from a venue. They communicated with us & made everything so easy. They made our day a true dream. Would highly recommend any one who is looking to host an event or wedding to choose this venue!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Eden Events and had the most phenomenal day! The venue is absolutely beautiful. Every single guest made sure to let us know how beautiful it was and how incredible the food was! The grounds around the venue also has tons of beautiful space for photos. The entire team made the planning process stress-free from start to finish. During our food tasting, the owner sat down with us to get feedback on the food and changes we would like such as less / more salt or any other dietary requirements, which was a very nice touch. The day of the event, everything ran so smoothly, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The servers and bartenders did a wonderful job. The DJ stage is a nice touch as well. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a unique venue to check out Eden Events, you won’t be disappointed!

We had our rehearsal dinner here... and it was AMAZING!!!! Must have. The service was excellent. The food was to die for. We had so many compliments that this was the best rehearsal dinner ever. Jackie was great to work with! We had the private room with the long table so everyone sat together. They decorated it and with the amazing room it couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I got married at St. Charles Country Club (SCCC) in September 2023. From our first conversation with Carla, the onsite coordinator, we felt confident that this wedding venue would meet our expectations – and, looking back now, we are pleased to share that it ultimately exceeded them. First, Carla is an absolute gem. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and communicative from the initial planning through the big day. Carla has been coordinating weddings at SCCC for many years, and her experience is truly invaluable. We felt comforted knowing we were in “good hands” throughout the entire process. The space itself is functional and attractive. In the hallway where guests entered, we set out photos of ourselves and our families, our guest sign-in book, and the table assignments. The cocktail hour was held in a large room with high ceilings connected to a veranda overlooking the expansive golf course, which features tall trees and a charming creek. Our guests enjoyed being able to move between the indoors and outdoors all evening. The dining room was also spacious, and with one wall fully lined with windows, there was ample natural light before sunset. Our only complaint about the space was that the bar was set-up in the cocktail hour room all evening, which meant that guests had to leave the dining room where the dancing was taking place to refresh their drinks. In some cases, guests lingered in the cocktail hour room or on the veranda, which was nice for those wanting a change of scenery or a break from the music, but not ideal for us as the bride and groom, as we would have preferred our guests not to be separated between two different spaces. The décor in the space is more traditional than modern, but it did not feel worn or outdated. We wanted a more classic, elegant aesthetic, and we felt that the space accommodated that well. The final look was breathtakingly beautiful – especially because of the stunning floral arrangements. (As a side note, we used Carla’s floral company – Debi’s Designs – and would highly recommend them!) The service throughout the event was outstanding. SCCC was well-staffed, and the servers were professional, polite, and attentive. As the bride and groom, we felt well taken care of. We even had our own personal attendant who brought us our signature cocktails and an appetizer plate as we were taking photos during the cocktail hour. Last but not least, the food was incredible. The venue has a very talented in-house chef. Months later, we are still receiving compliments from people about how delicious the meal was! Many people have expressed that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We also appreciated that the venue was able to accommodate the various dietary needs and preferences of our guests. Wedding venues are a significant portion of overall wedding expenses, and we felt that SCCC offered a fair price. The value we received was well worth the investment. The venue is also about much more than the space itself; it is also about the service provided throughout the planning process and on the big day. We are so grateful for Carla and her team for playing a huge role in helping us have the wedding of our dreams. We would highly recommend this wedding venue to other couples!

This was a wonderful place to have our wedding! The staff was very helpful and easy to work with and the price is great. They can provide tables and chairs for indoors but you will have to rent most everything else. I didn't mind though, I was able to choose just what I wanted. We got many compliments from guests on the beauty of the venue. They also have a long list of suggested caterers which I found helpful. Thanks so much!!

Creek Bend was the perfect venue for our wedding because we wanted a relaxed feel, and a lot of control over making it our exact dream wedding. Creek Bend is entirely DIY, but as long as you're game for that, it's a PERFECT venue. We spent so little in terms of decor and florals because it's such a naturally gorgeous space. We look forward to coming back here with our family because it's a public space as well, which makes it really special. The staff at Creek Bend are also amazing, and answered all of our questions. Such kind people who work at a beautiful place!

We had our wedding at The Hawk Country Club on their patio and in the glass tent this past spring and it was absolute perfection! Brandi and her team went above and beyond for every detail. Everyone was great to work with and as a bride planning without a wedding planner, I felt supported every step of the way. Brandi was always available to bounce ideas off, the chef put on an INCREDIBLE tasting, and I honestly didn't have a single worry leading up to or on the day of the wedding. We had backup plans for weather, the team did a great job of setting things up as I had planned, and it all came together as a stress free, perfect day. The setting in the tent and on the patio is beautiful! The appetizers and dinner were delicious (shout out for the mozzarella sticks during cocktail hour)! Every single person on the team was polite, helpful, and made the day special for us. If I could give The Hawk, Brandi, and her team 10 stars, I would!

Kane County Fair Grounds is the perfect place for a big wedding. Their pricing is reasonable and they are very helpful! The only trouble is their availability. They are a very busy facility.
