Creek Bend was the perfect venue for our wedding because we wanted a relaxed feel, and a lot of control over making it our exact dream wedding. Creek Bend is entirely DIY, but as long as you're game for that, it's a PERFECT venue. We spent so little in terms of decor and florals because it's such a naturally gorgeous space. We look forward to coming back here with our family because it's a public space as well, which makes it really special. The staff at Creek Bend are also amazing, and answered all of our questions. Such kind people who work at a beautiful place!

This venue is definitely up and coming! Once people find out about it it will be booked every weekend of the summer. We picked it because of all our family memories at LeRoy Oaks. We had a large tent outside 80x40 directly behind the house for about 150 people. The setting is absolutely stunning. We had some crazy thunder storms and the house was the perfect escape for some people. The dancing continued under the tent but the house provided lots of space for people to mingle and talk (and actually hear each other!). A lot of our guests loved the fact that there were places to move around to so you were not stuck in one room all night. There was also a perfect amount of parking! It made it feel like a full party.

The staff was all lovely to work with and answered all our questions. We went to the venue multiple times in the months leading up to the day to plan our decorations. Cindy worked the night of our event and we felt like she was a part of the family- she was so helpful!

LeRoy Oaks Forest Preserve is a wonderful and beautiful location if you are looking for an outdoor wedding in the summer. The inside accommodates only about 90 people, but is really affordable. Sherrie is the lady you will want to get in touch with when looking at the venue. They are new to having weddings, only 2 years in the making. The hall is built for smaller banquets but their tables and chairs are much prettier because they are newer. the hall also has AC and beautiful wood floors and lovely painted walls. The downside for some people is the hall has to be closed by 11pm, because it is a forest preserve there are different rules and regulations they have to follow. Most of what you need to know is on their website, they have two locations for banquets and weddings, the one I am using is LeRoy Oaks, they also have one called the Creek Bend! Both beautiful!
