We were very happy with our experience at the boathouse. The space is beautiful, and quite private. The outdoor setting is especially beautiful for photos. Jeannie was very helpful in answering all of my many questions, as they came up, and always responded quickly. Ken was a tremendous help the day off, setting up all the tables and chairs and even replenishing food and organizing the kitchen. He went above and beyond what we expected.

We had a great experience here at the lake house! I have been visiting this park ever since I was a little girl and grew up in Wheaton. My Uncle and Aunt were married here and my parents went to high school just up the hill. It was a no brainer for our wedding since we we trying to keep our budget as low as possible.

We did not pay extra $1,000 to reserve the boathouse deck, no one bothered us and they even let us put lights out there for the evening ambiance. We paid a chair rental company to rent chairs for our outdoor ceremony. Our guests had to keep their beverage inside but there was a nice sign they provided to remind guests. There was plenty of fridge space, tables and chairs for us to use inside the venue. The rep that was on site the entire day even got us extra tables and chairs whenever we needed them and set them up for us. We used command hooks to hang most of our decorations and our bartender had a great set up for her bar including the ice machine in the kitchen. The bathrooms were beautifully updated as well as the patio and deck. It was gorgeous!
