Chicago Gaelic Park

Chicago Gaelic Park is a wedding venue located in Oak Forest, Illinois. This community center was founded in order to preserve and promote Irish culture through education and cultural outreach. The facility hosts a wide variety of events rich in Irish heritage, including Irish dance festivals, parades, and hurling and Gaelic football sporting matches. For your special day, the estate has two ballrooms, two outdoor ceremony locations, and the warm and inviting Carraig Irish pub. These areas are spacious and elegant and will create an unforgettable atmosphere for your celebration of love.

Facilities and Capacity
The largest of Chicago Gaelic Park’s wedding venues is the Emerald Room. This ballroom features two oak bars with hand-carved mirrors, a large hardwood dance floor, an elevated stage, and state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. A private get-ready suite is attached and a minimum of 225 guests is required for Saturday night bookings. For smaller events, the Tara Room also comes with two oak bars, antique mirrors, a large hardwood dance floor, a private suite, and a stage. This banquet hall requires a minimum of 175 on Saturdays and opens up to the Patio, where you can host your ceremony and cocktail hour. This Patio is flush with seasonal wildflowers and has a wooden pergola, under which you can say your vows, and a serene water fountain. Ceremonies of up to 50 people can be held in the Volunteer Garden, where a brick courtyard and manicured grounds make for a beautiful backdrop.

The coordination team at Chicago Gaelic Park has more than 25 years of combined experience and is committed to helping you plan your dream wedding. These specialists will assist with everything from selecting linens and décor to arranging seating charts and dinner menus. Catering is provided in-house and includes a large selection of gourmet plated dinners, family style spreads, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, late night snacks, and desserts. Complimentary tastings can be booked through the banquet department to ensure your dishes suit your tastes. In addition, the staff will help with setup and cleanup so that you can focus on enjoying your magical night with your loved ones.
