Gaelic Park is truly a 10/10 wedding venue. Working with Lyric and Ericka from start to finish was an enjoyable experience. They were incredibly accommodating to every “crazy bride” request and truly helped make my day magical.

Ericka was our point of contact on the wedding day, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without her. She made sure everything ran smoothly and answered every question with kindness and patience.

We had a New Year’s Eve wedding, and it was always my dream to have a balloon drop. Gaelic Park had never done one before but was excited to take on the challenge—and they absolutely delivered. They truly made my wedding day dreams come true.

Gaelic Park hosted our daughter's wedding on Sweetest Day. Gaelic Park did not simply meet what was desired; they exceeded it - by a lot.

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the food, to the service, to the setup exactly as she asked, to the working with her through various details in the pre-wedding stages.

Beginning with when they were looking at venues, all the way until the wedding day, Renate was fabulous to work with. No ask was too big or too small for her to do. Leticia on the day of ensured everything went perfectly throughout the evening.

What has been lost in so many places in recent years is customer service, and knowing how to work with the customer. Gaelic Park has not lost that. They understand exactly what it means to work with their customer, to achieve what their customer (our daughter and son in law) wanted. They exemplified how other businesses should be run.

I am not aware of ANY detail that was missed.

Anyone looking for a venue in the Chicago area would be making a mistake if they didn't check out Gaelic Park.

All I can is WOW! This is a great place! We got there a little early, and were welcomed as we walked into the pub. It was busy, but never waited for a drink. The reception started with passed hors d oeuvres-absolutely delicious! The room was beautiful, bartender very friendly, food again, delicious and plentiful. Servers were very professional, room Captain always checking that everything is going well. I would totally give Gaelic Park 5 Stars!

Gaelic Park has it ALL. While most venues require you to cater in your own food, find your own linen vendors, provide servers for your bar or food service, Gaelic Park for MANY decades does it all. They have both indoor and outdoor venue options for both ceremony and reception that are beautiful no matter what your wedding style is. Something special and fun that Gaelic Park offers, is they have an indoor bar or an outdoor beer garden that works perfectly for an after party when the reception is over. The banquet staff is incredibly experienced, flexible, and passionate about meeting your needs. They have an incredible list of local vendors they have created over the years that often work their weddings, some of which we used and they were wonderful. Their event space can fit from 150-450 people depending which space you choose, with beautiful grounds surrounding for photos. And most importantly, their menu is incredible, with many delicious options, and the food is ALWAYS served hot. We had a 360 person wedding, and our guests are still raving how great and fresh their food was. My biggest worry was having all the tables and decorations set up, but with detailed instructions, the banquet staff set up everything perfectly! Renate, Nancy, Philip, and staff are there to make your day special, and worry free. This is a hidden gem in the southwest suburbs, and you don't want to miss it!

Chicago Gaelic Park was everything we could have asked for and more for our wedding venue! We worked with Lorraine and Renata, and they were absolutely amazing! I called and went in so many times with questions, and they were both very patient and made sure everything was set up exactly how I envisioned it on the wedding day. They made me feel so valued and cared for. The room was set up beautifully, and the food was great! They were very accommodating to the many food allergies our guests had. Everything went smoothly, and Renata and Lorraine handled everything so I was able to just enjoy the night. When we went back the next day to gather our decorations and such, they had already organized everything neatly so all we had to do was pick it up. The price is affordable, and the venue is stunning. Our wedding was in the Tara Room which was perfect for outdoor pictures near the waterfall. Thank you, Gaelic Park, for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

Planning was very easy with Gaelic Park! I had NO vision. Luckily, the team had tons of options, and also great suggestions on decor, centerpieces, even how to tie the sash on the chair. Sharon drew out a floor plan and her and Renatta made sure everything was where I wanted it to be!

The food was great, plentiful and they also have several vegetarian options. Bar package had several drink options, and I don't think anyone went thirsty that evening.

I highly recommend attending their bridal show- you can find a lot of vendors you might need from here, and many of these vendors work closely with Gaelic Park- making day of plans REALLY seamless, as they have all worked well with each other in the past. They can coordinate things like flower drop off, DJ set up all with out you needing to worry when who is showing up and where!

Sharon, Philip and Ronada were instrumental in making our wedding day! Sharon contacted my several times to check in with me. She gave me decor advice and walked me through everything. The day of the wedding Ronada set everything up perfectly and even packed it all back up for me to pick up the next day. The bar staff and wait staff were experienced, quick, and friendly. The food was delicious and hot for every guest! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone!

Gaelic park is very accommodating and very reasonably priced. There are no hidden prices. All services are included in the price. The food was delicious! We ordered family style filet mignon and chicken vesuvio. Top shelf open bar is included for 4 hours. The best part: we were able to drop off all our centerpieces and items used at the venue the day before with a note and the staff set up everything for us the day of. I even got my own bridal suite. The bar is enormous and the dance floor is huge. I highly reccomend Gaelic Park.

Gaelic Park is a gem! They offered everything we were looking for and for a great value. Our guests' comfort was one of our top priorities, and Gaelic Park absolutely delivered on this one: plentiful parking, ADA compliant entrances and facilities, and comfortable spaces. Our wedding was in the Tara Room, which included the use of the outdoor patio, so our guests were able to step outside to get some fresh air without missing too much of the party. We got so many compliments from our guests. We are so happy we chose Gaelic Park!

My fiancee and I visited many different venues before finally deciding on Gaelic Park, and we're very glad we did. From the beginning we knew this was going to be a better experience than your typical wedding venue. Gaelic Park made it clear that we were the priority and were very flexible when it came to specific wedding details (freedom of choice among vendors, ability to pick up decor the day after the event, etc.). We also live in a different state, which presented its own challenges when planning a wedding. Gaelic Park was always very responsive and willing to discuss details over the phone when in-person meetings were not possible. On the day of the wedding they checked in with us several times throughout the reception to make sure everything was running smoothly and to offer their support. They were so excited to be a part of our big day which just made it even more special for us. Gaelic Park also had very reasonable prices and we were able to plan a large reception without worrying about breaking the bank. Thank you to the banquet department of Gaelic Park for helping us throw an unforgettable wedding reception!

Elegant, classic and affordable!
The staff at Gaelic Park (shout out to Sharon McGhee, Marie and Ann) all helped to make our wedding night unforgettable! From the beginning of planning Sharon McGhee was extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. Any questions I had Sharon always got back to me immediately making my planning all that much easier. Our wedding took place in the Emerald room, a large spacious beautiful room! I had brought in quite a few extra touches to be placed throughout the room and everything was executed perfectly! One of my favorite things about the Emerald room is the large bar that stretches almost the entire length of the room making it very easy to grab a cocktail and a great place to visit with guests. We chose to do family style for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! You can never go wrong with good ole fashioned family style! After the reception guests were able to walk right down the hall to the bar next door and kept the party going! Gaelic Park also has a huge parking lot which I know I always appreciate whenever I attend a wedding, nobody wants to find parking in heels. My experience here was great and couldn’t be more satisfied with how everything turned out. Super affordable and simply classic. Happy wedding planning everyone!

Gaelic Park made our wedding that more memorable! We have been coming here for a long time so when it came time to picking a wedding venue it was a no brainer. However, we did shop around some other local venues and Gaelic Park by far was the best value. The banquet staff, Sharon and Renata, were fantastic and made planning easy and stress free! The day of went so smooth and if anything went wrong we sure didn’t know and they handled it. We chose plated filet and chicken for our dinner and they were able to serve our very large crowd quickly & without any delay. The food was delicious & cooked to perfection. After dinner both bars were open, so our guests never waited for drinks. If you are looking for a venue for a wedding or event look no further than Gaelic Park, you won’t be disappointed!

Everything about Gaelic Park was so easy from the beginning. Renata was very professional and timely in her responses. They have wonderful food and drink packages for a great deal. I would suggest Gaelic Park to anyone looking! Thanks for making Aaron and my day so great!

Perfect! I loved everything about Gaelic Park! The room looked gorgeous and they set everything up for me! The food was delicious and everyone was given generious proportions. They made sure that my husband and I actually ate. When we sat down after the grand entrance, they brought us a little plate with some appetizers on it since we didn't get to eat during the cocktail hour. The bar kept everyone having a good time. They staff was flexible with how we wanted everything set up. We decided last minute to have a instax photo booth and they set up a table while we did pictures right before cocktail hour.

The banquet staff was very accommodating and easy to work with while planning. They accepted multiple payments so it was nice to be able to pay a little off each month. The banquet manager, Sharon, called me every few weeks to see how everything was going and you could tell that she actually cared about my wedding and not just my checkbook.

Sharon and her team are great to work with! They were very helpful and all my guests raved about the (gourmet family style) food! They were very professional and so helpful!

Having our wedding at Gaelic Park was the best decision we made! Renata is amazing and has done so much for us-- we haven't even had the wedding yet! Everyone is so nice, friendly and accommodating. Their rooms are gorgeous AND you won't break the bank!

It was love at first site with Gaelic Park! All of the staff was super friendly and very accommodating! We only looked at one venue and Gaelic was it, super excited for our September 2017 wedding there!

We LOVED having our wedding at Gaelic Park! The price is affordable and reasonable and the Emerald Room was a beautiful setting that can accommodate a wide range of guests, we had 300 and it was perfect! All of our vendors collaborated well with Gaelic Park and everything went smooth. The best part was the service we received, Colleen was like having a personal wedding planner! She met with us and discussed the set up and layout of our wedding which included a few extra elements because it was New Year's Eve, and everything was set up perfectly, all the details were taken care of, and then they packed it all up and put it away for us to pick up another date. It was also beautifully decorated for the Holidays which added something special to the setting. The service and price were wonderful, the food and bar service was excellent, and it was beautifully set up! Definitely recommend - especially working with Colleen!

I cannot say enough positive things about Gaelic Park and would recommend their facility without reservation. If you're looking for a venue that will make you feel at ease and take care of everything you could possibly imagine then I'd hands down go with Gaelic Park. Colleen was such a wonderful manager who answered every possible question I had and she or her staff (Renate and Yvonne - shout out to them) always responded quickly to any email I sent. I felt like I inundated their office with my constant questions, but none of them ever seemed bothered and actually reassured me otherwise.

They definitely went above and beyond their job duties and exceeded my expectations. Colleen was there the day/night of our event and oversaw the entire reception. I am 100% satisfied with their venue and our guests kept saying how lovely everything looked and how good the food was. Usually banquet food is just "meh," so for guests to mention the food tasting really good speaks volumes I think!

Gaelic Park recently hosted my dream wedding. Jody and the entire staff at Gaelic Park (servers, bartenders, bus boys, etc) made our wedding everything we wanted and more. Sure the Emerald Room is a beautiful room to host a wedding in. The array of chandeliers, gorgeous main bar and well kept hard wood floors are appealing to look at and make the room a luscious space to create a dream reception in. There is no doubt this facility is well kept and well decorated. The staff, however, is what made our decision to have our wedding at Gaelic! Jody was a pleasure to work with. This woman knows weddings and know vendors. She is very honest and dedicated to making your wedding everything you want and more. Whether it was a phone call conversation or an impromptu meeting that we needed to ease our minds or talk out our ideas, Jody was always willing to make time for us and share with us her expertise. Everything leading up the day of was a cake walk. The day of our wedding, however, was truly amazing. The staff recreated my vision. They lock the doors so that no guest can enter before the bride and groom see their room, which we appreciated very much! When we walked into he Emerald Room I was overcome with emotion. It was perfect. Jody, who had a family party for a nephew that day, left her family and came to Gaelic just to see me see the room for the first time. I know it seems silly but that meant so much to me. There was no need for her to go out of her way to personally unlock the doors for us, but she did and she did it happily. She was so genuinely thrilled for us and complimented us on the room decor and my dress. She was the sweetest woman to work with and without her I would not have known where to start when planning. Hands down one of the prettiest venues with the most incredible of staff.

Jody and her entire staff are so helpful and very professional. The room was set up beyond our expectations. Emerald room is perfect setting for a wedding reception. For the top notch quality of service, food, & hall, you are not paying outrageous prices. I recommend everyone to put Gaelic on their lists of choices for their wedding reception.

Chicago Gaelic Park could not have been a more perfect place for our wedding reception. As someone who was not familiar with wedding-planning in general, they were so helpful every step of the way. They were extremely flexible, and truly helped us to create the reception atmosphere that we were looking for. Jody was our contact person and is phenomenal at her job. We cannot say enough great things about this venue. Jody's attention to detail is excellent! It was the most perfect day. We had our ceremony on the patio which turned out wonderful. The food was excellent, the service superb! Everyone raved about the appetizers and food! A small hiccup with the correct size table came up, and in minutes the staff had the tables switched out, no one even noticed! Thanks so much to Jody and all the staff for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

Gaelic Park is a wonderful venue to have your Wedding at. Everyone that works there is very nice and helpful. As Jody said to us, "We want to make this easy for you and want you guys to truly enjoy your day!" That is exactly what happened. The pricing is so affordable and it includes centerpieces, service charge, and taxes. They are easy going and flexible throughout the whole wedding process. I would also recommend going to their Bridal Show. We received a free h'ordeuvres hour by going and met a few vendors that we ended up using. Seeing the reception hall on the day of my wedding is something I will never forget. It was beautiful. Thank you Gaelic Park for an amazing wedding!

Gaelic Park did a fantastic job to make my wedding the best day of my life! They were so helpful and friendly and never hesitated to answer any questions that I had. Jody was great to work with and made everything look perfect for our reception. The night ran perfectly and I received so many compliments from my guests saying how great of a time they had and how friendly everyone was who worked there! Overall I think Gaelic Park did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a great wedding reception!

I had my wedding rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and reception at Gaelic Park in October 2014. Jody was so helpful, accommodating, and gave us great advice. She never said 'no' even when we had a special request. I wanted the ice cream for dessert to be served in mini white sox helmets and Jody said no problem! She let us bring my homemade center pieces plus all our other reception items any days during the week leading up to the wedding. This was great because we didn't have to bring everything in one trip so I could ensure I didn't forget anything. I sent Jody a picture of how I wanted the center pieces set up and they put everything together no questions asked. I highly recommend attending their bridal show. We found our officiant, bakery, and late night snack company at the bridal show. They all gave us discounts for booking at the bridal show, and Gaelic Park gave us free hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour for attending the bridal show! We had our rehearsal at the pub inside Gaelic Park. The manager Teresa was so awesome and the server Diana was fast and accurate. We love the bartenders especially Rita! I definitely recommend Gaelic Park for anything wedding related. They know their stuff!

What a wonderful reception venue!!!! My husband and I cannot express enough what a wonderful job Jodi, Jan and the entire staff did for and at our wedding! From the very start of the planning process, Jodi and Jan were so responsive and helpful in insuring that our wedding went exactly as we wanted. They were able to accommodate everything!!! They made sure the Tara room looked amazing and had it set up exactly like we dreamed. They made the whole wedding reception process as smooth as possible for us. The appetizers and food tasted fantastic!!! We heard wonderful feedback regarding the food all night!!! The room, the service, the food, and drinks were incredible. We have not one negative thing to say about Gaelic Park. We couldn't be happier with Gaelic Parks services and would recommend this venue to anyone. My wedding reception was in the Tara Room this September, and it was beautiful. Jody, Jan, and the staff at Gaelic Park were absolutely wonderful to work with! They made the planning and logistics a breeze and were very helpful and flexible. In the planning phase I was able to meet with Jody or Jan a few times to go over details, and they always quickly responded to emails or phone calls. The reception itself went wonderfully. Service was prompt and we received so many compliments on the food. Gaelic Park is a wonderful venue for any event, especially a wedding reception! The patio was gorgeous, especially in the evening as the sun went down. Don't hesitate to contact Gaelic Park for your wedding needs!

Working with Jodi and Jan made planning the rest of my wedding so easy. They were so laid back and attentive that I absolutely loved working with them. The venue was of great size for my guests and the patio was the extra perk my guests loved. The scenery is beautiful for pictures. Everyone commented on how much they just loved the food there. My husband and I were debating between 2 different places, and I am so glad we went with Gaelic park. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married

I could not have been happier with my reception at Gaelic Park in the Emerald Room. Jan, Jody and Yvonne were great to work with and were very informative and always there with any questions I had throughout the whole process. The room was beautiful, food was excellent and never waited long for a beer at the bar with 330 people at the wedding! I also liked how we got to see the room before any of our guests were let in!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jodi, Jan and the entire Gaelic park family, they are every brides dream. They are so unbelievably helpful and answer any and all crazy questions you have and do everything they can to make whatever you want happen, happen on your wedding day. They take all the worry out of so many things such as, I wanted a candy table, no problem give us a picture and we will set it up for you, I brought in my own centerpieces, no problem give us instructions and they will be on every table exactly how you want them. They take all the stress of final planning out of your wedding it made me so at ease to know that they were taking care of everything. We were able to bring things in the whole week before and not just the night before which was super helpful. We were also able to leave things there til the Monday after (our wedding was on sat) which was such an amazing perk not having to worry about anything the night of the wedding or even the day after. They are amazing I cannot say enough great things about them and I think everyone should get married at Gaelic Park

What a wonderful place for a wedding!! We had our wedding back in July, and everything was perfect! We decided to go with Gaelic park because it was one of the only venues that offered a great price for what they were giving us. Jody was very accommodating with our needs and wants for the wedding night. They were super flexible and knew what they were doing. Our guest raved about the food! We decided to go with the gourmet family style, since sometimes at weddings people don't give enough food. Everything was excellent, especially the filet mignon, cream of chicken soup, and ranch dressing on the salad!

Jan was super helpful the night of the wedding and with the set up of all my extra items. They also had someone from the staff go pick up the white castles for our guest for our late night food!

Our only downfall was that as we were having our ceremony outside in their garden area (which was beautiful), a guy from Gaelic park was painting the chalk lines on the field next to us and came over with his loud machine right as our pastor was trying to marry us. We could barely hear anything for about 5 minutes. One of our groomsmen went up to him and asked him to stop but he just kept on going...I would advise to have them check with the field manager to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else!

All in all it was a wonderful venue and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great, affordable deal!

Jody and her team really go above and beyond to provide quality service for your special day. After meeting with over a dozen coordinators, I was overwhelmed by the time I stepped into Jody's office. But after just a few short minutes with her, I knew I wanted her in charge of our big day. She responded quick to emails, let us decorate how we wanted, our food was excellent the guests cannot stop talking about it. Jody and her team set up everything for us! Our name place cards, centerpieces, extra table with cards, and guest book. They made everything care free for us the day of the wedding. I never once had to stress about anything throughout the entire process. I can't thank them enough for their quality of service, flexibility, and professionalism. Thank you Gaelic Park!

We had our wedding ceremony/reception at Chicago Gaelic Park in the Emerald-West Room on August 3, 2014. This place is beautiful both indoors and outdoors...perfect for pictures! We worked with Jan throughout our planning process. Jan is very helpful and flexible, and catered to our needs as much as she possibly could. And...The food is delicious!

Gaelic Park was the BEST decision! The staff was phenomenal. We worked closely with Jan who was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. She walked us through every detail. Both the ceremony location and the Emerald Room looked gorgeous. Our guests raved about the food and the bar staff was top notch. They allowed us to personalize everything. We worked with Teresa on our drink selection who was extremely flexible and responsive to our requests. Everyone was so positive which was exactly what we needed on our wedding day. Very reasonably priced.

Gaelic was a fantastic venue for our wedding!! I currently live in Florida and they were VERY helpful while planning a wedding from a distance. They were quick to respond to all questions and explained everything we needed in detail. Jody was amazing and helped us out more ways than anyone else could. We couldnt have asked to work with better people. They made our wedding AMAZING and I couldnt imagine getting married anywhere else!

Look no further than Gaelic Park-it is the absolute BEST venue to have your wedding and/or ceremony. We were looking to have our ceremony at our reception site and were enamored by the outdoor patio with the waterfall at first sight. Accompanied by nice weather, our ceremony was a dream! The flow from the ceremony into the beautiful Tara Room for our reception was ideal. Many of our guests remarked that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to for the convenience of the ceremony, reception and after party (at the Carriaig Pub) in the same location. Also, for the superb service of the catering and bar staff and the food. Yes, Gaelic Park's food is AMAZING!
Throughout the entire process, Jody and Jan were delightful to work with. They were very prompt and helpful with answering all of the questions we had. They were also honest and insightful as to what work and what didn't. Gaelic Park also has a Wedding Expo every February, which is very fun and full of ideas.

I just got married at Gaelic Park and I must say the reception was perfect! Jodi let's you be the first to go into the room and okay everything. When I walked in I could not believe how beautiful it was. It was better than I ever imagined. Everything was perfect. The food is a big reason why I had wanted to have my wedding at Gaelic. It is always so good and they did not let me down. My guests still say they have been to many weddings but that was the best food they have ever had! Gaelic also has a bridal expo of their own every year. The expo was fun and that's where I found my flowers, chair covers, trolly, invitations and much more. It was worth it! Gaelic park was nothing but awesome in helping me with my big day!

We could not have been more happy with choosing Gaelic Park to have our wedding reception! Jody and Jane are the best at what they do! Jody was always so helpful with the tons of questions I had. I'm still getting rave reviews from my family and friends about what a great time they had and how much they loved the food ( the cream of chicken is to die for!) Jody and Janet are the best at what they do, I cannot say enough about their experience and professionalism. My daughter lives in Florida and not always available to check on the details. Jody made sure everything was just the way the couple wanted it. Her experience was so helpful, she gave us ideas that we would not have thought of, suggested vendors that were also top notch.
The ceremony was outside, and beside the fact that the weather was perfect, the ceremony site was beautiful. It amazed me knowing that they had hosted a picnic in the ceremony area prior to the wedding and everything was beautiful and clean.
All of the staff at Gaelic is top notch, we enjoyed the pub the night of the rehearsal. Had a lot of fun and the bridal party was able to become acquainted.

When you are picking a venue for your reception or wedding seriously consider Gaelic Park. We had my daughter's reception at Gaelic Park and their staff made her day perfect. A special thanks to the banquet manager Jody she was invaluable with her ideas an her attention for details. The hall was beautifully set up. Everything was clean and very well maintained. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The best part was the reasonable pricing. Many of our guests complimented the facility and loved the food. If I could I would give Gaelic Park 10 stars.

When we walked into the Emerald Room we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful it all looked. With having a 450 person wedding you worry about things like if the seating is too crowded, is the food going to be warm, etc. But we had no cause to worry about anything because it was handled so beautifully. The waiters, waitresses, bartenders, and busers, were all so friendly and very good at their jobs. People are still coming up to me telling me how great the food was and how much fun they had. A place like Gaelic Park is huge in that each banquet room has its own bar inside the room. You don't lose half of your wedding to people going outside into a lobby to get drinks. The dance floors are big and the decor is very classy. We were so happy we chose Gaelic Park and we can't thank Jody and the rest of the staff enough for making our wedding such a memorable night.

We got married at Gaelic last month and it all went great! We had our ceremony on the second floor in the Celtic Room and then went straight into the reception in the Emerald Room. It was a snow storm that night and Gaelic was flexible on start time of the reception bc our ceremony went late.

Jody and Jan and the team at Gaelic provided invaluable help with setting up the decorations for the ceremony and reception, in the planning stage with providing helpful advice and feedback when I was figuring everything out, and coordinating with my vendors when they had to drop stuff off day of or week of.

The day of my husband and I and our bridal party did not have to worry about any little details at the reception bc Gaelic took care of everything behind the scenes. They really are a one stop shop. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a wedding where they don't have to coordinate caterer, linens, and all those other details. Gaelic does everything for you and makes it so easy! All our guests had a great time and had nice things to say about the food and the venue itself.

Another plus there is the Carraig Pub right next door that everyone can head to after the reception. The night of our wedding there was a band playing and everyone went over there and the party continued into the night.

All in All I highly recommend Gaelic!

If you want more bang for your buck I highly recommend Gaelic Park! The food was the best I ever had at a wedding and the hall was beautiful. The staff at Gaelic couldn't have been more helpful. Jan and Jody are great!

Gaelic Park was all that we wanted and so much more! Everything they did was excellent. From the food, the pricing, their packages, the alcohol list, the professionalism, the exclusiveness, thr friendliness, their ceremony and reception space, and the list goes on and on. It was an A+ across the board. Jan was an absolute sweetheart and so very helpful. They also have an amazing bridal show every Feb that I recommend. Overall this place is amazing and any one that has their wedding here is in for a real treat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We can honestly not say enough positive things about Gaelic Park! Our experience was absolutely wonderful from the beginning. Gaelic Park was the last venue that we looked at, and after our visit with Jan, our minds were made up. Not only do people speak volumes about the food and service at this particular location, but we loved the fact that there was a bar on-site for the party to continue once the reception was over. We set the date about 14 months before the wedding. As we got deeper into planning all the details, I contacted Gaelic Park several times to get clarification for various things. They were so responsive throughout the whole process, which put me at ease.

When it came time to do the final walk through, this is when the staff at Gaelic Park really shined. We were able to get a feel for how the room would look set-up on the day of the wedding. When Jody suggested where things like our late night food and photo booth would be located, she would provide explanation on why it works set-up in a particular way, which was perfect. After running through the menu and all the details, we still had some lingering questions. Jody was able to answer everything and then some! She really took the time to make sure we were comfortable with all the details, and that my mind, as the bride, was at ease!

At the end of our walk-through, Jody let me know that she would have the doors to the reception locked until we were able to view it. This was such an important detail to me that I honestly had never thought of. My husband and our parents were able to view the room first, and really take in all the planning that had gone into the whole day. It was a very special moment for us! One that I had never even thought of!!

Overall, I could not be happier with how our reception went. If there were any issues, I did not know about it. Jody and the staff at Gaelic Park had everything covered. The food was amazing, and we are still getting compliments on how tasty it was!

All of the staff at Gaelic Park were amazing throughout the entire planning process to the actual reception. From the banquet planners to the bar tenders and servers.

Our reception room was decorated perfectly! The food we chose was delicious! And, the venue was decorated beautifull for Christmas. All of our guests enjoyed themselves.

Jody and Jan were so helpful in making sure that I had everything perfect for our wedding day. As stressful as wedding planning could be, I felt like they made everything so easy and I did not have to worry about ANYTHING setting up for the reception or during the reception. I was in complete shock when we walked into the room before our guests arrived- it was more beautiful than I had ever imagined!

When comparing different places Gaelic Park won out for what they offered for the price. Not only was the staff great to work with, they made everything a breeze and I didn't feel like I had to worry. Everything went perfect the night of and the food was great!! We received nothing but tons of compliments on the food and how beautiful the place was!

I can not say anything but good things about the Gaelic Park! From beginning to end, Jody and her staff were amazing! They set up all of our centerpieces, candy bar, and escort cards for us. I have never eaten better food at a wedding! We got constant compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food tasted. They are so organized and helpful. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose the Gaelic Park. The facilities are GORGEOUS! I did not realize that the bride was supposed to ok the reception hall before the guests were let in. All of our guests had to wait in the lobby until one of my bridesmaids finally convinced them to let us in.

Other than that it was awesome - they let us do some personal touches. The food was amazing. We enjoyed the large dance floor & great price.

Days before my wedding, I had to call to make a vegan meal request. It was handle with complete ease! The food was fabulous and all of the details and meetings leading up to the big day were wonderful. I had always wanted to have my reception there and they made every idea I had come true.

We cannot say enough postitive things about the staff at Gaelic Park.

We had over 400 people at our reception and a certified groom-zilla with an Italian mother. Jodi was flexible and firm where she needed to be to ensure a great event.

Italians are know for their high standards on quality and I would say we know our food. Everyone complemented us on the quality and freshness (Not reheated or heat lamped) of the food, including the pasta. They were able to serve everyone timely without being rushing people and we finished a 6 course (Table-side) meal in under 1 1/2 hours. We were dancing by 9pm with a 6:30 cocktail hour.

The hall looked awesome with the beautiful bar, dance floor and elegantly arranged head table for 21. The audio-visual packaged had our guest in awe with video screens and booming sounds from all angles.

Midnight came without a bang in that no one was rushed out because they had to setup for the next day. We had ample time to wind down and clear out the room. We even felt welcomed in the attached bar where some guests stayed until 2am.

Again, the flexibility and creativity of Jodi and her staff helped us make our wedding a memorable event for all in attendance. Most importantly they were a pleasure for us to work with during the 8 months prior to the wedding.

I will look towards Gaelic Park for future events when the need arises.

Gaelic Park is the best value on the Southwest side. Very reasonably priced meals that include alcohol tax and gratuity, big dance floor and plenty of space for photos, dancing, drinking, and even a photobooth. When the cupcakes did not arrive in the expected boxes, Gaelic quickly whipped up a plan that worked just as well without having to call me and worry me and interrupt my wedding day. All the people there were very professional and, more importantly, calming. Would absolutely recommend again especially to someone who's more of a low-key bride like me (i.e. not interested in looking through a book of 500 table linen choices).

Planning a large wedding during a recession can be very difficult but at Gaelic Park I was able to have my dream wedding and still come in under budget! Gaelic Park was the only location we looked at for our reception. We loved working with Jody and her team. They made all of our dreams come true. The room was absolutely beautiful, we got married the weekend after Thanksgiving so the room was decorated with Christmas décor that was absolutely stunning. I would go through all the stress of wedding planning just to be able to relive the reception again. = )

I was so pleased with the atmosphere that Gaelic Park had to offer me for my reception. Working with Jody was amazing. I would come in not knowing exactly how to piece my parts together to make everything look nice and she did it with out even thinking about it! Their food was great, the servers were always polite. I did not have to stress about a single detail working with them. Everything went off without a hitch and my guests were just as please as I was. The rooms were gorgeous! They have both just been remodeled and are just beautiful. The color scheme in the Tara room went perfect with my wedding. I was so pleased. Thank you so much Jody for doing what you do so well!!

I wish I could get married there all over again. Jody was so much fun and so sharp. She helped me pick out the right linen colors, the menu options, and also worked with us on how to make things chic on a not so chic budget.

We had a wonderful experience with Gaelic Park for our wedding last June. Their organization from the beginning of the wedding process led us to instantly book this venue. Their price structure is fair, and the space was perfect for our appx. 200 person event. Jodi, the manager, was exceptional. She is stern and honest, which I appreciated. She also helped to make sure I had flowers on my cake (flowers I ordered from my florist), when my cake vendor said they wouldn't add them themselves. The flowers looked great, even though my cake didn't turn out how I thought it would (cake vendor communication error). Jodi saved the day on that one.
Overall it was a great experience that all of our guests enjoyed.

My husband and I picked this place right off the bat. The planners are very helpful and flexible. The evening of our wedding was fantastic. The servers and bartenders were amazing. Never a long line for the bar and the servers were very accommodating to my needs during the dinner. The liquor was very good as well and the food was fantastic. So many people complimented Gaelic Park's food after our wedding. For the price it is well worth it compared to others pricing.

I had such a good experience working with Gaelic Park! Jody did such an amazing job making sure that the room and the event was exactly what I was looking for! Everything turned out perfectly, and all of my guests kept gushing about how beautiful the venue was. I didn't have to worry or stress about anything involving the planning and set up of our event, Gaelic Park handled everything. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the South Suburbs.

Gaelic Park provided excellent service for our wedding on September 18, 2010. Jody was very helpful and provided expert advice. When we were thinking of adding a few extras, she helped us in deciding what was worth the money and what wasn't. We never once felt like they were trying to get an extra penny out of us any chance they could get like some other vendors. My only complaint would be that our steaks were medium well rather than medium, but they had warned us that if the speeches run long, that the timing could be off and the steaks could end up over done. We were warned, but still it was disappointing. Overall, we loved Gaelic. Great bar package and great food otherwise. Big dance floor and accommodating and helpful staff. I would recommend it to anyone!

Gaelic Park was the perfect spot for us to hold our wedding. We had a large guest list and wanted everyone to fit comfortably in one space. The Emerald Room was beautiful and perfect for our reception. Renate was very forthcoming and knowledgeable about planning our reception. She answered all of our questions and offered great ideas. Renate and her team also decorated our space just as I would have done- they also had everything boxed up the next morning for us to pick up so we didn't have to worry about anything! We liked GP because the party didn't stop when the reception was over, most of our guests hung out at the pub afterward. We decided to do our photos outside and they turned out amazing.

Gaelic Park was the best venue we have came across in our months of looking and that is why we chose to have our ceremony and reception there. The Tara room was big and beautiful. The bathroom entrance was inside the room which was very convenient and the bathrooms were very clean. The bar was very big which allowed for people to not be crowded standing in a line. Everyone was very helpful throughout the whole day especially when my dress needed to be re-steamed minutes before walking down the aisle. Jody found me a hand steamer and we were able to fix my dress! We had our ceremony outside which was such a beautiful location.

Jody was fantastic to work with and very hospitable! Everything went very smoothly at our wedding and the staff at Gaelic did a great job! Guests raved about the food and service. I would definitely recommend anyone having their wedding reception at Gaelic.

Everything was going great up till the day of the wedding. At the reception we had a couple people over the amount we had counted for before. The manger took my husband and I away from the wedding sevral times, asking for the money right that minute. We told them right after we would figure it all out. They continued to come up and pull my husband away and kept asking for a check or cash that minute. Throughout the night, I only saw my husband at our wedding a couple of times because I could never find him and everytime I saw him he was talking to the mangement. After the wedding, I was trying to go to the bathroom and my bridesmaid was helping me out of my dress, the manger walked into my changing room and yelled at me that she needed her money for the couple of extra people. I was so upset that she couldn't even wait a secound for us to meet her in the offic.
Everything else went every well. Food was great, hall looked amazing and the garden we got married in looked beautiful. It was an amazing day anyway, even with the mangers asking for money every two secounds.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with Gaelic Park as our wedding reception venue. We worked with both Yvonne and Jody, and both were very helpful, accommodating and pleasant throughout our planning process. Furthermore, the garden in the back of the Tara Room is a beautiful place to take pictures! Our photographer got some great pictures as the sun was setting!

My only issues came after the wedding when several of our wedding guests let us know about a few unprofessional moments with the banquet staff.

One: we had ordered about 5 vegetarian meals for those guests who wouldn't eat the family style meal we selected. At least two of our guests had a tough time actually getting those meals after having to specifically insist to the servers that they couldn't eat the family style meal. One of our vegetarian guests never even got her veggie meal, and when she asked a server was told to 'eat the sauerkraut and just pick out the polish sausage.' Our guest just ate more of the salad because she didn't want to bother us, but we were disappointed since we specifically marked the placecards for our vegetarian guests. Our vegan guest had no issues though.

Two: we paid extra to have a bartender serving at the back bar in the Tara room. Near the end of the reception, the bartender called her boyfriend to come up and have some drinks. This was quite tacky and unprofessional.

I had a wonderful time at Gaelic Park and would still recommend them to other couples. My only advice would be to have someone designated to deal with these issues immediately because I suspect that Jody and her banquet staff would have immediately addressed and rectified this issue with these staff members. We just didn't find out about this until we got back from our honeymoon.

We have enjoyed working with Renate & can't wait until the big day. Gaelic Park is a beautiful facility!

We had a beautiful ceremony and a SUPER FUN reception. Gaelic Park was very flexible with us, allowing us to bring in our own cake made of cheese wheels (and cutting it for us!) and set up our own candy buffet. We used their votive holders and glass pillars, but were told we needed to bring in our own candles. I also brought in my own glass mirrors and other decorations. The pricing was within our budget, and they were very helpful when our guest list changed in the last couple of weeks. The food was good, though I didn't eat much (apparently this is a common thing among brides).

Very flexible and gave us good advice and help. Jody and Jan answered all of my questions. Their prices are super competitive. However 2 huge mistakes happened at our reception. 1- we specifically used a certain room at their facility so we had access to their beautiful outside waterfall and arch, play ground etc. for pictures. However that day they forgot to unlock and take down the gate and turn on the waterfall, which lead to my husband missing 20 minutes of pictures trying to find them to fix the situation. Besides missing pictures we also lost the "day light" due to a Friday night wedding. 2-Later that evening we caught the dessert ice cream we picked was served incorrectly to half of our guests. Gaelic did catch this problem but did not fully fixed this problem in time. Get any special requests in writing before hand and not go off of word of mouth and trust.

What was suppose to be the wedding dreams for my daughter and son inlaw turned out to be a nightmare...Staff cut entire wedding cake and served, and staff memebers stole many of our decorating items....Yes we were reimbursed for cake and decorative items, All we got was an apology...Would not recommend this facility to anyone....We are filing a report

Gaelic Park was what we believed to be a quality venue. The staff, specifically Renata, was great to us. She helped coordinate the day and did her best to make sure everything went as planned. The venue was beautiful and the food was complimented on by our guests.
The next day is when we received news from numerous guests that one of the bartenders, Ann, was extremely rude to them as she made it seem like an inconvenience to serve some and rolled her eyes at guests for a request as simple as water. We also found out the morning after that our wedding cake was cut and served on the dessert table when it was supposed to be cut and wrapped as we had other desserts for the guests. These directions were clear in the instructions as Marian (Manager) and Renata showed it to us in the paper work the morning after. Due to this, we do not have our wedding cake to have for the following year on our anniversary which highly upset my wife. They did compensate us, but the mistake is one she will forever remember as I believe most brides would/will. We also found that numerous decorative items were missing the morning after when we came to pick them up and a basket full of toiletries and other items were missing which were placed in the ladies bathroom. These items were in the ladies bathroom at the end of the evening after all of our guests departed per several family members including the bride's mother. Gaelic could not provide a reason as to why these items were missing and could only apologize for the missing items. This led us to the conclusion that employees of Gaelic Park either threw the decorations and other items out or stole them. This was absolutely disgusting and became the icing on the cake for our experience.
Due to the experience we had, especially pertaining to the missing items, I will not recommend this venue to anyone I know. Being a police officer for eight years, this is not a place where I would recommend my family and friends to celebrate their wedding.

I procrastinated writing this review for over 2 mos. because I didn’t want to relive this stress lol. But, this is an honest account for anyone considering Gaelic Park for their wedding. Poor communication, lack of professionalism, & inadequate internal coordination left us frustrated.

When we signed our contract, we worked with the banquets coordinator who had over a decade of experience here. She left shortly after we signed & we were never formally introduced to her replacement, only learning of the change when I called months later. From that point on, communication was difficult, requiring multiple attempts, long hold times, even calls rerouted back to the main desk. The “hand holding every step of the way” vibe marketed on their website didn’t occur. I initiated almost all communication & had to remind them twice to schedule our tasting & approve our floor plan. It genuinely felt like we were forgotten, just 1 of the many weddings this season.

The 1st major issue involved the bridal suite. During our tour, I was told we could get ready there. About 7 mos. before the wedding, while booking hair & makeup, the new coordinator assured me on the phone that we could access it “as early as we need it.” This was reiterated again at our tasting. Our vendor timelines were based entirely on this information. However, the week of the wedding, a second, newer banquets manger/coordinator, appeared into the mix and said we were no longer allowed to get ready in the suite until a couple hours before the ceremony. This reversal was DAYS BEFORE the wedding, despite multiple confirmations, & caused significant anxiety & last min. logistical changes for our vendors, wedding party, & family. This could & should have been avoided with accurate information & consistent internal communication. Lesson learned: get everything in writing!

The 2nd issue occurred after the wedding. We were told multiple times that we could retrieve our decor the day after the wedding. At the end of the night, a floor manager informed us that everything had to be picked up only 9-10 am. Despite the inconvenience literally the day after our wedding, my husband & I arrived only to find no banquet staff present & their office locked. The staff present was kind but just as confused as we were. Another example of internal miscommunication!

When we finally retrieved our belongings, our custom bar menu signs were missing. I was going to offer them to the venue to use for future events but they helped themselves. Additionally, we used an audio guest book & clearly labeled the shipping box “Do not throw out.” This was the only box we did not receive back. I had to quickly find a replacement to ship it back before our honeymoon due to their error.

Lastly, multiple guests reported that the coordinator was unprofessional, rude, & snappy with them. Professionalism toward guests is a baseline expectation.

I’m not looking for anything in writing this, in fact I’m relieved to never talk to them again. Luckily, despite these issues, the wedding went well & everything came together in the end. However, the unnecessary stress caused by unprofessional conduct & poor communication was a significant & avoidable headache. For these reasons, I would not recommend this venue. If you move forward, ensure everything is documented in writing. Their “contract” is an invoice bundled with food package details and does not protect you from last min. changes or conflicting information.

Jody is not friendly. I booked my wedding elsewhere. She obviously doesn't like her job.
