Getting married at Turtle Pointe by the ocean was an absolute dream come true for our Sikh wedding of nearly 200 guests. The setting was breathtaking, and our reception, which seamlessly transitioned between the indoor ballroom and the adjoining courtyard, became an unforgettable experience. Our guests loved having the open space to continue the celebrations well into the night! Our pre-wedding events—Maiyan, Choora, and Jago—held outdoors at the Plantation Estates under the stars were nothing short of magical. The entire experience was elevated by the incredible professionalism, kindness, and expertise of our wedding coordinator, Yvette. She was beyond remarkable, anticipating our needs before we even realized them. Her attention to detail, deep knowledge of wedding logistics, and unwavering support made the planning and execution effortless. The Fairmont Orchid itself is a stunning property, exuding authentic Hawaiian charm that blended beautifully with the energy of our vibrant celebrations. The food was simply out of this world, and months later, our guests still rave about the experience. Pulling off such a large Sikh wedding so seamlessly was no small feat, but Yvette and the Fairmont team handled it flawlessly. The fact that everything was so well-organized and on time (which is a major achievement for an Indian wedding!) speaks volumes about their expertise. The hotel’s preferred vendors list made everything easy—we found the perfect makeup and hair artist, lighting and tent providers, and florists all in one place. Any minor hiccups were swiftly handled, and we felt truly taken care of. If you’re thinking about getting married in Hawaii, the Fairmont Orchid is the place to do it. Their commitment to excellence, customer care, and creating unforgettable memories is unmatched. We will absolutely be booking with Fairmont again in the future! Thank you, Yvette and the entire Fairmont Orchid team, for making our wedding an experience of a lifetime!

My husband and I had our wedding (~100 guests) at Honuala'i, and I honestly can't imagine a more spectacular venue for an event! The house itself is gorgeous, and just spending the morning in the guest suite with my bridal party was a fantastic experience in and of itself. The house opens up to a gorgeous lawn with breathtaking views every direction you look -- our guests couldn't stop marveling at the views! In the middle of our planning, the Honuala'i house manager position transitioned from Louise to Jenn, and Jenn was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. She (and the entire house staff) were accommodating with our requests to hold a rehearsal on the lawn the day before the event as well as allowing us to begin getting ready a couple hours earlier than the standard time on the day of our actual wedding. If you're considering having your wedding here, definitely do it! We knew we wanted a wedding on the coast, but wanted something that felt more intimate than the resorts, more private than a public beach, and could accommodate a large-ish guest list, and Honuala'i was perfect.

10/10! We could not have chosen a better venue and wedding coordinator for our Hawaiian wedding. The MLA is an elegant venue with stunning views. Every single detail from the moment we chose the MLA through to our wedding day was organized and thoughtfully considered. Vendors (Emily Lehnert, Bula Music, Indigo Artistry and Lalamilo Flower Girl) all helped make our day even more than we envisioned. Chelsea Kuali'i is an exceptional coordinator, host and planner extravagant. She remained in touch w/ us through our entire 10 month wedding planning journey and was incredibly thoughtful as our day approached. We looked at several places in Hawaii and even considered some DIY options. We are so happy to have chosen the MLA which brought to life the wedding of our dreams.

The Blue Dragon was the best spot for our wedding!!!!!! We had the best organic and locally supported food from their farm. The space was perfect for my family and we still had space for a photo area for activites that our guest could participate with. They recently added a ice cream machine which was a big hit since it was a hot hot harvest moon night. Their mister machine was a big hit (It reminded us of a Tropical version of a fog machine) for our wedding. If you're smart save your money from the high rates at mainstream hotels and SUPPORT LOCAL. This is Hawaii not the Mainland!!!!!
