Ohia Farms is a ranch-style wedding venue for couples marrying in the greater Honolulu, Hawaii area. This ranch features ceremony and reception space, with villa vibes and views that overlook the bright blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean. As the venue primarily faces west over the water, couples will capture a sunset view in many of their wedding photographs as well. Ohia Farms is located just moments up the road from the Waimea Bay Beach Park.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can invite up to 100 guests to their wedding at Ohia Farms. The farm features a structure with a pool built between two tropical cabana spaces. The deck around the pool makes a great location for smaller ceremonies. Ceremonies can also be held on a small grassy lawn. Both of these locations offer views of the Waimea Bay and Pacific Ocean beyond. Couples can have their reception around the pool and in the grassy areas of the venue. Tents can be erected for protection from sun or rain, however couples often opt to go without so as to enjoy the beauty of this island venue. In addition to ceremonies and receptions, couples can host bridal showers, engagement parties, elopements, and rehearsal dinners at Ohia Farms.
The venue comes prepared for a breezy island wedding. It is setup to be used without a lot of hassle or stress. This farm offers event rentals for couples’ wedding days and lighting and sound services. Couples and guests will also find onsite parking for their convenience, as this venue is located across the island from the state’s capital city of Honolulu. While there aren’t indoor spaces at this location in which couples could host an event, Ohia Farms does provide get ready rooms for couples on the wedding day.
Couples will find this luxurious tropical wedding venue on the northwest side of the island. It is located approximately 50 minutes away from downtown Honolulu. Couples and guests not native to the island will appreciate the convenience of the airport, which is located only 45 minutes from this venue. The venue is secluded yet accessible and sits upon a hill overlooking the bay and ocean waters below, both of which shine a dazzlingly bright blue.

Not worth the headache...
This space is beautiful but not worth the headache, which I'm really sad to say... You must bring every single thing in and out on the same day of your event (including bar, seating, decor, lights, DJ/music, catering, trash - yes you have to haul out your own trash the night of your wedding - tent, etc). If you are not within the 11 hour time frame they charge you $500/hour which is outrageous and almost impossible to do unless you have nothing at your party... we are neighbors to this property and residents in the community and were thoroughly disappointed with the way the manager treated our guests by screaming at them the night of the wedding when we we're trying to get everything off her property like they wanted us to do. I previously discussed the fact that folks would be staying behind to help move items offsite but she must have forgot. It was embarrassing and honestly baffling. I'd love to share more but do yourself a favor and just avoid this place...Sent on 09/04/2019
