I was looking all over Maui for one that fit my budget and yet was amazing view And great quality. It was all that and more! It was everything I dreamed of. The people there were easy to work with.

We had such a great experience booking with Makai! Their event planner, Kaye, was so wonderful to work with - her communication was quick, clear and she had incredible ideas along the way. From the very beginning, we described our vision to Kaye and she provided the most insightful ideas for us making this process even more enjoyable from afar. She truly makes you feel like you are her only clients. Highly recommend booking this venue and working with Kaye!

Liz at the OCC was SO amazing. We planned this wedding from California and Liz was extremely helpful when we met live and via email. We pretty much planned the wedding in 2 meetings with Liz and it was a hit! Day of went smoothly and we couldn't have dreamed of a better venue, AMAZING AMAZING food and great fun aloha atmosphere. My guests raved that it was the best wedding venue and food they have been too. We thought so but so did everyone else! Great great place!

We highly recommend the Waialae Country Club as a wedding and reception venue. The food was delicious and the location was beautiful! The setting was picture perfect with the ocean, lawn, palm trees, and even a full moon. It was a bit hot though for the outdoor ceremony so it was good that the ceremony was short. Guests were happy to find refuge in the air conditioned dining room! Kay was an exceptional planner/point of contact and she was fully engaged throughout - working with us on the food, drink, layout and all aspects of the day until we were satisfied with the plan. Staff/servers of the WCC were top notch. Service was great! The only complaint is that the WCC has ugly brown chairs with orange cushions. Unless you rent chairs (which we ended up doing at the last minute), there is not much that can be done to soften the chairs which makes the room dark. It is possible to to fully transform the room with drapes, lighting, table and chair rentals, etc. but we elected to make the most of the beautiful views and natural setting. Thank you WCC! We had the most beautiful wedding ceremony and celebration!

Best deal we could get for our money that was indoors and held 150+ people! We loved that it was on the west side of the island so that our families didn't have to travel in traffic considering most of our family is from the central and west side of the island. A bonus = FREE ONSITE PARKING!!! The breezeway is such a beautiful place to have our ceremony with the glass windows from the floor to the ceiling! With the reception in the restaurant was just as amazing and convenient! KGC sets up the tables and chairs for us while our linen/decor set up the fine details. I didn't have to worry about a thing that day! Everything turned out so beautiful and we really enjoyed it! I would highly recommend for the west siders on Oahu!

Lynn, Eileen, and Darrell were so awesome to work with! They are very talented and flexible with creating menus and service style for events. We worked directly with them for our wedding reception and they were just incredible. So kind, prompt with responses, and easy to communicate with. Thank you so much to you all for all of your hard work and time!

We recently had a welcome party at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club for the night before my daughter's wedding and were so pleased with this venue! The staff was so attentive and handled everything beautifully. There was beautiful music provided by a violinist and the pupus were fantastic! I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! Our guests had a great time - enjoyed themselves thoroughly and loved that it was so easy to get to with tons of parking! Mona Garcia was so great to work with as well! Please give her a call if you are doing anything for a wedding, you won't regret it!

Such a great choice for a wedding venue! The team is genuine and truly cares about your experience. I visited last year to check out the venue and actually requested a viewing last minute. The team was kind enough to accommodate me especially with my limited time on the island. During the tour they didn't pressure us to close on the venue, and didn't push for unnecessary frills that we didn't need for the wedding. Before making the final decision I was going back and forth with many questions after my visit and they(Heather & Layne) were patient and answered all my questions. I think the patience and quick response was quite telling of how it would be if I secured the venue. It was a right choice! Heather was my main contact throughout the planning of my destination wedding and she was great. Super responsive, patient, level-headed and organized. I really loved working with Heather and she actually ended up being my Day of Coordinator! The day of my wedding was the first time I actually tried all the food! Since it was a destination wedding I didn't get the opportunity to test anything but was really hoping it would all be good based on other reviews. My guests and I were so happy with the food! The bartender (Darren) was also awesome, such fun and happy vibes to keep us going when the nerves came up. There is a range of picture ops at the venue with the beautiful mountains in the background. My wedding was actually held after the rain but the mountains still look cool with the clouds!
