Enotah Valley truly turned my wedding dreams into a breathtaking reality! Linda and her incredible staff provided an unmatched level of service that exceeded all expectations. The beauty of this venue is simply beyond what any photo can capture; the stunning landscaping and natural charm allowed me to keep my decorations minimalistic while still creating an enchanting atmosphere. I’ve included some photos from my rehearsal dinner and the bridal suite, both of which are fantastic additions to your package and absolutely worth it. I also added a photo of the old car, which belongs to the venue—it added such a charming touch to our photos and the owner drove me to the end of the isle to meet my father! Additionally, the beautiful wooden sign you see was lovingly crafted by the owners themselves, showcasing their dedication to detail and craftsmanship. Linda was an exceptional coordinator, guiding me through all the challenging decisions with grace and ensuring that every detail was executed to perfection. Her support alleviated so much of the stress that accompanies planning a wedding. I also highly recommend booking DJ John for your event—his energy and expertise were the perfect complement to our special day. Sugarboo Farms was PERFECT for our intimate mountain wedding. We had only 45 guests which meant everyone could stay on site in the adorable cabins, and everyone was talking about how beautiful the grounds were. We had guests from across the country and from other countries so being able to spend time together was important when finding a venue. Sugarboo was the perfect solution. Throughout planning, Kristen was very responsive in answering all my questions and the couple of times we visited before the wedding, Jose, the groundskeeper, was so helpful. We couldn't think of anywhere better to celebrate our day.

Look no further - you have found your perfect venue. From start to finish, working with McDowall Acres was the highlight of our wedding. To start, the views are breathtaking. Saying our vows with the view of the mountains behind us was like something out of a story book. You overlook a picturesque horse pasture, then a beautiful pond, and end with the blue ridge mountains right behind you. I could not ask for more. Then you have the venue itself. The transformed barn was perfect for our reception - classy yet country. It gave plenty of room for all of our guests to be comfortable, yet fit in perfectly with the beautiful surroundings. The venue is set back on the farm, away from any road noise or outside distractions, so it truly felt like we were in a world of our own that day. Dancing the night away, surrounded by our friends, with the moon shining on the mountains - a moment I will never forget. The best part though of the whole experience was working with the owners, Elizabeth and Lucy. These sisters helped us every step of the way and made us feel like family. They helped me envision my perfect wedding day vision and were quick to offer the decorations they had on hand. They recommended great vendors (loved that they had a list of ones they recommended, but we were free to use whoever we wanted). Plus the day-of-facility (the cutest little barn house by yet another pond) made getting ready such a fun experience. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this venue. Have recommended it to many friends already!
