About this venue
The Smith House Historic Inn and Restaurant is your wedding weekend specialist centrally located in Dahlonega, Georgia. We specialize in private events such as rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, bridal showers, farewell brunches, and more! In our Historic Inn we also offer many lodging options to accommodate your out-of-town guests! You are able to block rooms for your guests to ensure their lodging is available for your specific date.
We are located just one block off the square of Downtown Dahlonega and are within close proximity to the many gorgeous wedding venues of North Georgia! We are proudly a family owned and operated business with focus on great service, a cozy atmosphere, and amazing southern cuisine.
Today we have expanded our housing and venue and are host to five private event spaces each with their own unique character and size to fit your needs. Currently we can accommodate parties up to 145 with extended seating. Our menu and service will not dissapoint and we strive to make your events smooth-running and enjoyable! We offer locally sources wines for our private events alongside a selection of craft and domestic beers. We hope you will consider our venue to be a part of your special weekend and help curate your event with a little southern hospitality and charm.
