Hotel Wedding Venues in Georgia

We didn't have a huge budget but using the hotel made our day so special. The hotel is beautiful so we didn't have to do much to decorate for our small wedding and reception. The caterer was able to keep her food in the kitchen until we were ready for the reception. We used their Bluetooth speakers and had a great time celebrating our big day.

I had my November 2022 wedding at the Ridges Resort, and I could not have been happier with my decision. We were married on the lakeside lawn and had our reception in Red Banks Ridge. Our rehearsal dinner was the evening before in the newly renovated Oaks Lakeside Kitchen - which was spectacular! We had a 25 room block with our whole family and bridal party staying on site, which was a #1 concern when booking our venue. The other thing we loved was that catering and bar packages were provided through the venue as well. The day of and for weeks after, I received so many compliments on how delicious our food was the entire weekend. Andy Allen, our event coordinator, even set aside a plate of the pass-around apps that my husband and I may have missed out on due to post-ceremony photos. My drink was never empty, and I felt well taken care of by Andy and her staff. I heard from many family members that it was one of the best weddings, if not the best, they had ever been to. The hotel rooms were modern and clean. The continental breakfast was delicious and there are also some fun restaurants nearby that we enjoyed during our wedding weekend in the mountains. We were able to meet with our coordinating team, lead by Andy, twice before the big day to plan out everything. There were a couple of occasions where it took several days to get back to me, but she was always helpful in her responses. She offered her expertise with rentals for the additional linens and chairs I had imagined with the color scheme I had planned for the day. I kept track of absolutely everything because any planning before the 90-day mark prior to the wedding was my responsibility, and for the large part I coordinated my own vendors, then the week of and day of the event Andy took over and handled all deliveries, setup and breakdown, and layout elements of our big day. Everything was very straightforward - I knew what would be included and what would cost extra and there were no surprises. We ate like royalty, we danced the night away - It was an incredible weekend I will never forget!

ECCH is an awesome place to have a wedding! We got married on 10-13-19 and we worked with Richelle. She is so accommodating, and made sure everything was perfect! She is so awesome! Held the rehearsal party at Wisteria Lanes (SO much fun!) and had the wedding ceremony at Garden Overlook and reception at Silverbell Pavillion (SO pretty!). All the bartenders and staff (at Wisteria & Silverbell) were so great! The food was amazing, our guest were loving it! Our guests also said how much they loved staying at the hotel...the grounds are beautiful and the rooms and hotel inside was clean, and had a cozy feeling (great for pictures inside and out)! The hotel staff was also very nice and helpful! Overall, a fantastic wedding weekend experience! And also thank you again, Richelle!

As an event planner, my experience at Lanier Islands was outstanding. The venue is not only beautiful but also incredibly well-organized, which made coordinating the event smooth and stress-free. Our wedding day was an absolutely dream! The entire wedding planning process was so easy and organized thanks to Jaime! As a wedding planner, I am very detail oriented and knew what I wanted for my wedding day, and Jaime made it happen! She worked flawlessly with my vendor team to ensure our day was great! I also need to give a shout out to the kitchen staff and chef! At our food tasting, we enjoyed everything they brought out, it was hard to pick what we wanted for our day! Also, a lot of the time at weddings, you see that the food doesn’t always turn out as good the day of the wedding as it was during the tasting. That was not the case here! Every single person at my wedding told us how amazing their food was and how awesome all the appetizers were! I have so many other amazing things to say about this venue and their staff! So so grateful for Jaime and her team! I will definitely recommend The Andaz to my couples in the future!

Our wedding at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead was everything we had dreamed of! We have nothing but good things to say about our experience - especially our experience working with their in-house wedding coordinator, Megan Norris. Megan gave us a solid comfort level from the very first meeting. She was pleasant and fun to work with throughout all of the planning, and she had a knack for really seeing and understanding our wedding vision, and then working her magic to make it all a reality. She went above and beyond our expectations in every way imaginable, and the same attention to detail and superior customer service was evident throughout all of our dealings with the Hyatt staff. Our wedding event at the Hyatt is something that we will remember fondly for the rest of our lives! Thank you Megan, and thank you Grand Hyatt Buckhead!

We loved our experience at Brasstown Valley!! We got married on the waterfall lawn and had our reception in the ballroom, which was the perfect space for our 110 guests. The food was SO GOOD, 10/10 recomend the mac and cheese bar if you have the option. Savannah made our day run SO smoothly. Throughout the whole planning process she was extremely responsive and able to answer any questions we had. Day of she was exaclty what you want out of a coordinator- quiet, behind the scences, getting stuff done. A few of my bridesmaids complimented her too and said she was the nicest coordiantor they've met after being in a few weddings this year. The morning of our day big day was peaceful. The only note I have, and its more of a heads up than anything, is that there can be 2 weddings on the same day at Brasstown. The getting ready rooms for the brides are on the same hall, which can feel a little chaotic. That being said, if you get married at BVR I highly recommend renting cottages. My bridesmaids and I had one, the boys had their own and my family had one. Even though the cottages are withing walking distance of the lodge/venue, they really do feel secluded and peaceful and it was so nice to have that space to get ready in the morning of. Also becuase of there being the potential of 2 weddings on the same day, its possible the popular photopgraphy spots may be being used when you want them. My husband I did our first look in a different location than origianally planned, but I think it turned out even better than our first plan. It still felt private and secluded and felt like something out of a fairytale. My husband and I both wish we could re-live our day 100 times over again. It was perfect.

We, along with all of our guests, had the most incredible experience at the Westin Savannah. Throughout the entire wedding weekend, we were blown away by the hospitality of the entire staff—from the front desk team to Aqua Star, the Midnight Sun Lounge bar, and especially those who worked our rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and reception. A special shoutout to Valencia, who was so sweet and attentive to us both nights! Even a year later, our guests are still raving about the hotel and, most of all, the food! We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve heard people talk about the crab cakes and shrimp and grits—it’s become a running joke at this point! Amanda was an absolute dream to work with. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly reassuring throughout the planning process. She answered every question with care, advocated for us every step of the way, and went above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life—including pulling off some truly special surprises for us as a couple, our families, and our bridal party. Thanks to her and the entire Westin team, we had the most perfect rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and wedding reception. She and her team were also incredibly accommodating when it came to coordinating the guest rooms and our room block. Nearly our entire guest list stayed at the Westin, which made the whole weekend feel even more special. Having everyone in one place was amazing, and the Midnight Sun Lounge became our unofficial meet-up spot throughout the weekend outside of the wedding festivities—it was the perfect setting to relax and spend extra time with our loved ones. One of the most impressive aspects of our experience was how seamlessly the Westin team worked with our entire vendor team and day-of coordinator. Everything ran incredibly smoothly and on time both nights, allowing us to truly enjoy the moment without any stress. Their professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference in creating a flawless, unforgettable wedding weekend. Looking back a year later, we still believe choosing the Westin for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. The team made all of our dreams come true, and we already can’t wait to return for future visits to Savannah and the Westin!
