Working with Kyle at the country club was a great experience from beginning to end! They were accommodating, enthusiastic, and super helpful! The venue is beautiful which is a plus! I would 10/10 recommend !!

Every step of the process was smooth and perfect with Bob Cooper. St. Ives really approaches your wedding like it is a special event and they are honored to help your day be as lovely as you could imagine. They have class and professionalism, they provide pretty much everything, their recommended vendors are excellent, and pricing wise - you are not going to find anything that compares. Plus Bob is very transparent about pricing and [resented it in the clearest way pf any venue we toured. The food is unreal, the servers and bartenders are excellent, I am honestly out of adjectives. Thanks Bob for making our day so easy!

We had my daughter’s wedding at TPC Sugarloaf and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The setting was beautiful, the staff was attentive, and everything ran seamlessly — all thanks to Colleen, the events coordinator at the venue. She was truly outstanding! From the early planning stages to the big day itself, Colleen was organized, responsive, and incredibly supportive. She made sure every detail was just right and went above and beyond to ensure the day was stress-free and magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to Colleen and the entire team for making my daughter’s wedding

We held our wedding reception at The Country Club of the South, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. Since we had our ceremony at a separate church, it was a bit challenging to coordinate everything logistically—but thanks to Andreja and her incredible team, the transition was seamless. Andreja was such a joy to work with. She helped ease the stress of planning and made sure every detail was just right. The ballroom space was absolutely stunning—elegant, warm, and perfect for celebrating with our loved ones. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our special day ran smoothly. We are so grateful for their professionalism and genuine care. If you’re looking for a breathtaking reception venue with exceptional service, we wholeheartedly recommend The Country Club of the South. They truly made our celebration unforgettable.

Some things I was looking for when booking a venue: budget friendly, catering available, chairs, tables, linens at no extra costs, bridal suite, groom room, adequate space for reception- with air (being it was a July wedding), multiple places for guests to hang out during the reception, and of course beautiful landscape. This place has it all! Mary is AMAZING! She made sure everything I wanted happened. She listens to her brides very well and does exactly what they want. She took care of catering and setting up the venue. All we had to do was add our centerpieces and the arbor and she took care of everything else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don't be scared away that it is a country club and think it is too expensive, it is very affordable. You guys were amazing and very professional!! Oh and the food was so good, we received many complements on the food!

Governors Towne Club was the perfect venue for our daughter’s vision of her wedding day. Not only in the beauty of the grounds, building, bridal suite and ballroom but in the planning, execution and professionalism of the entire staff! When the rain and thunderstorms rolled in, their flexibility to flip the cocktail hour with the ceremony time allowed the storm to pass and an outside ceremony to take place. The staff dried all 180 chair, had towels available for guests and Jamie carried the bride’s train and veil to the start of her walk down the aisle. Memories made to last a lifetime! A must take a look if planning a wedding!

Amy Donahue and her staff were absolutely perfect making our Casino Night beyond our expectations. The Women’s Club hosted a Casino Night for a Cause raising money for 5 local Forsyth County Charities. Amy was a delight to work with always willing to help provide suggestions for other vendors such as casino table rentals, etc, helping to provide expertise on layout of the room and overall guidance for how the event could flow smoother. The staff was always so flexible with our team when we needed to adjust something before and during the event. The newly renovated ballroom was so beautiful with the new hardwood floors, new paint colors, and new wall sconces. The changes really make the room such a classy location for any event. The evening was such a beautiful night that our attendees were able to step outside to enjoy their drinks when they weren’t participating in our games or silent auction. Thanks for helping make our event such a success.

The short review: A stunning venue, incredible food, and the best team of people that will make your wedding day (and the planning) feel easy, effortless, and so so special. The long review: We cannot thank Layna, Emmalee, Tara, Erinn, chefs Shannon and Shawn, and the rest of their wonderful staff enough for everything that they did to make our day so great. Their team is truly special, and we feel so lucky to have had their involvement in our big day. They did a phenomenal job working with a lot of severe food allergies and problem-solving mobility constraints so that we could have our ceremony at their STUNNING outdoor ceremony space. We keep reminiscing about how amazing everything was, each and every person of their team went above and beyond. I feel so lucky to have had the pleasure to plan our wedding with Layna. She was so incredible to work with throughout the entire process. Extremely responsive, kind, and the biggest advocate for turning our wedding dream into a reality. We so appreciate all the care, thought, time, and effort she put in to making it the best day. Layna, Emmalee, Tara, Erinn, chefs Shannon and Shawn, and their staff did such an amazing job. It was evident they are all extremely experienced. The whole team works so well with each other during the planning phase that they make the wedding day seem effortless. They work with a wide range of budgets and I have no doubt they make each feel equally special. Since our wedding, we have been getting so many compliments. I can't tell you how many have people told us it was the best wedding food they ever had, how beautiful the venue was, and how kind the staff was. I was excited when researching their venue in the beginning because so many reviews complimented their food. Now being able to speak from experience, saying it's delicious is an understatement. We did the buffet and everyone was impressed with the quality and amount of food. Multiple guests told us they couldn't decide which was their favorite between the chicken, tenderloin, or salmon. Another thing we loved was being able to access the venue the morning of the wedding day. Other venues that we had looked at before Flat Creek only allowed access two hours before the ceremony, and it just seemed like a recipe for stress. Having access in the morning made it so stress-free for family members helping out with decor and gave them plenty of time to go back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. We also didn't have to worry about multiple events being booked for the same day. Their team truly focuses on you. This venue checks all the boxes, even ones you don't realize you have. We highly recommend having your wedding at Flat Creek Country Club. Do yourself a favor and book with them :)

Having our wedding at Huntcliff was an amazing experience! Marianne was so helpful and always quick to respond with any questions. And Ken was on point with the set up as well! We were lucky enough to have good weather and have a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Even with the crew team that rowed by (we had our event on a Friday), it made for a good laugh! Would highly recommend!
