We were looking for something in our budget and this venue was the perfect one, besides money wise we were looking for something flexible for catering and I like the natural look with the wood and the view was so perfect for what I was looking, we would definitely recommend this place. On our wedding day it rained couldn’t use the outside space but I still loved!!

The Garden Cottage managed a spectacular wedding rehearsal party for our children, family and friends. 120 people! Their referrals for catering, bartenders and table arrangements delivered high scores. The facility is cozy and comfortable. The porch and patio were charming spaces for a summer evening cocktail hour. I highly recommend The Garden Cottage for your affair.

I cannot say enough about this venue! The property and views are gorgeous and enough to make your decision. But, the perks included in the packages are priceless. The lodge is so pretty with minimal decorations and great mountain views. The decor closet, stocked with tons of candle holders, easel, backdrop props, grass picture wall, etc., is included in the rental price. The staff quickly and seamlessly flips any rooms needed that may serve a dual purpose. And the coordinator, Stacy, is OUT OF THIS WORLD and is also included in the rental price. Stacy is quick to respond to questions and her coordination the day of the wedding is impeccable. She generally anticipated any questions we had and it is obvious she has tons of experience in coordinating weddings. My daughter got married here this past weekend. The plan was for her to get married outside on the hilltop but mother nature had different plans. I can tell you, the alternate plan of getting married in the lodge where the reception would later be was just as amazing as if we were able to do it outside. Flipping the room was flawless! I HIGHLY recommend this venue!

We loved the venue from our tour with the owner. He was so down to earth and we could just tell this was the venue! The mountain views are so beautiful from each direction. The bridal dressing area is decorated beautifully, and the grooms den is such a relaxed spot for the guys to hang the day of. The FOOD!! OMG the food is AMAZING. Our guest are still raving about how delicious everything tasted. I loved the elegance of the barn but still being about to have the relaxed mountain themed wedding. They are so responsive to EVERY question a bride could have and helps you determine the best package for your day. 100% recommend this venue!

This venue was absolutely beautiful! It overlooks the Chestatee river in Dahlonega Ga. The deck outside was perfect for both our wedding and reception. Fortunately the weather was perfect for our day but if it hadn't been there is a spacious covered deck with an amazing view as well which was our back up plan. The owners were there to set up and assist with any concerns or questions we had. This is a family owned property which for us provided true feelings of support for our big day. I feel after dealing with them we have gained two new friends! The owner Tim was very supportive and helpful before and after our wedding. We definitely feel this was the one and only venue for us, with the inside and out surrounded by nature and peaceful atmosphere. Definitely recommend this venue and it's owner!@
