Summit Farm Weddings is a rustic and charming wedding venue nestled in Ellijay, Georgia. With outdoor church pews overlooking the breathtaking North Georgia mountains and a spacious, rustic barn for celebrating, the property offers both beauty and versatility. Whether you dream of exchanging vows with a mountain view or dining beneath sparkling chandeliers behind barn doors, Summit Farm provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable—and affordable—wedding experience.
Facilities and Capacity
This family-owned cattle farm and venue provides beautiful indoor and outdoor areas to accommodate a maximum of 125 wedding guests. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in a green space overlooking the scenic north Georgia mountains. Indoor ceremonies and receptions can be held in one of two gorgeous barns, complete with an area for a DJ and a dance floor. This venue provides two distinct areas - a get-ready suite and a relaxing den for the wedding party's use on the big day.

Southern-Style catering packages are available, with a range of delicious dishes served via a buffet complete with staff. This package also includes utensils such as napkins, cups, and wedding plates. Outside caterers are not permitted. Menu choices include BBQ, Italian, Mexican, and Southern "Granny's" cooking.
History
Summit Farm Weddings was conceived after the owners' middle daughter decided to have her wedding on the property. One year later, this barn and event venue opened to the public, to help accommodate beautiful and reasonably-priced nuptial celebrations, with the view couples dream of.

Absolutely stunning venue, perfect team behind us
I seriously cannot say enough nice things about the team at Summit Farm. Susan answered every single question and last minute request I sent her, even if it was at 10 pm on a Tuesday night. It felt more like having friends plan my wedding versus paying a team to help me do it. Everyone there is incredibly friendly! Not to mention, the venue is GORGEOUS. I was blessed with the perfect weather, and they even brought out the cows for photos during the ceremony! How cool is that?! Everything, literally everything, went perfectly. I toured almost ten venues in person and researched many many more and Summit blew them all out of the water. If any of my friends are ever in the search for a venue, I'm absolutely sending them to Summit, we have zero regrets. They are absolutely worth every penny I spent to host our 85 person wedding.

The perfect day
It was the perfect day. Despite the weather, Summit Farm allowed us to postpone the ceremony to have our ceremony outside. We did not have to worry about a thing the whole day because every detail was taken care of. Throughout the planning, everything was thought of and they could make every single one of our ideas come true. Could not recommend Summit Farm more. On wedding day every single staff member was perfect and we were asked what we needed at every moment. They tell you during the tour that they will treat your family like family and they truly mean that. We heard from so many guests how friendly and attentive the staff was. 100/10 would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely perfect wedding venue!
We got married at Summit Farm in December of 2025 and the space was stunning. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It’s clear the owners, Leta and Russell, take great pride in their venue. They were hands-on, welcoming, and wonderful to work with. Our coordinator and planner, Susan, was professional and listened to all of our requests. Service at the bar was quick and seamless, thanks to Sam, an amazing bartender. We really appreciated the "all inclusive" package that Summit Farm offers to take some of the stress of coordinating vendors off of us. The caterers/vendors we worked with were excellent and acommodated all of our needs. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the atmosphere and attention to detail. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to celebrate our special day!

Best. Venue. EVER!!
The venue, the staff, and the entire process was more than 5 stars. Absolutely worth the money, which is still less than most other venues somehow. This place is a GEM!! They helped me plan every detail from day 1, provided more support than I thought I would need, and made my wedding day absolutely perfect. There were no hiccups and every person from Summit Farms and their associated vendors was kind, punctual, and very communicative. I would recommend this venue to everyone who wants a beautiful, rustic, and intimate wedding day. Thank you x1000000 to everyone from Summit Farms!! Kelly, Susan, and Becca are my life savers!!

From our initial inquiry and tour to all the tiny details that come with wedding planning, their entire team was so supportive and organized. They work with an amazing group of vendors and handle setup seamlessly, making the process stress-free and smooth.
In the weeks leading up to our wedding, we always had someone available to answer questions, and on the day itself, our coordinator Kelly was wonderful — attentive, caring, and completely on top of every detail. Because of her and the Summit Farm team, I was able to focus on being present and soaking in every moment.

Summit Farm Weddings is not only a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony. The team on site treats your family like their own. They provided helpful information up front and were responsive and attentive to questions and concerns leading up to the wedding day. One of the best things about Summit Farm Weddings is they are truly and ALL INCLUSIVE venue. From the cake to the dinner to the DJ to the photographer to the florist, they ask for guidance and your vision and provide the access to trusted, top-quality services to make your day perfect. The Best Day!!
DaJour and I had the most perfect day for our wedding at Summit Farms! The weather and scenery were beautiful! Thank you to Russell, Leta, Becca, Kelly, Sam, Veronica, Gracie, Susan for their kindness, attention to detail, great communication over the last 10 months, and for making our wedding day efficient and smooth, beautiful and best of all FUN!
