We hosted our eighty-person wedding at Beach Place Guest Houses in April 2018. The venue is an amazing garden right on the beach. It was romantic, yet perfect for our family. You feel like you’ve stepped into 1940s Cuba – vintage, pristine, and relaxing! BP provided a beautiful setting for our wedding on their deck, and our reception was under the tent overlooking the ocean. BP provides great service for your entire wedding experience: organization, setup, take down, and everything in between. You have complete discretion to select any vendors you choose – allowing you to customize your event and save money! It was a night (and week) to remember. Every guest loved BP and asked, “how did you find this place?!” It truly is a unique and wonderful venue. Keep in mind it is owned by a couple, so it may take a few days to hear back on certain details while planning. But rest assured, once you arrive, their service is outstanding. Stephanie, Mary Lynn, Gary, Patrick, and the rest of the staff will feel like family once you leave. Our wedding guests rented 16 of the 17 units and everyone loved their stay! BP’s units are amazing and unique, some with beach views, all had lanais, and some had washer/dryers in unit. La Virginia was perfect as the bridal suite. Beach Place has incredible outdoor spaces for you and your guests to enjoy. We just couldn’t believe how perfect the patio and courtyard were to host our family and friends days before the wedding and the big day. Plenty of grills, seating, space for yard games. And the BEACH. Mere steps from your room. BP has beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, and towels for our family. We had a dozen kids ages 2 to 18 and they loved the clean beach, the waves, the toys, the quick access to our rooms, etc. We grilled for dinner most evenings. At night we relaxed around the fire pits. We played and ate and enjoyed every minute. The staff was fantastic and made our wedding day and week unforgettable. It really was a dream wedding. Thanks!

When we booked our wedding weekend at Banana River Resort, we knew it would be awesome, but nothing prepared us for just HOW awesome it turned out to be. Just look at the photos (and these aren't even the professional ones!) I can't say how many times I heard "this is the PERFECT venue" and "I've never seen such a gorgeous venue" and "how did they find this place?!" The palm trees, the sand, the docks, the water view with pelicans and dolphins going by... it is just a dream spot! First of all, my (now) husband and I had the most relaxing, wonderful, heart-warming time hanging out with 35 of our closest friends all weekend, who stayed with us in the 10 suites at BRR from Friday to Monday and helped make the entire weekend into a nonstop party that felt like adult summer camp. Our friends LOVED the dock, the fire pit, the proximity to the beach, the paddle boards and kayaks on property, and of course the stunning view. We used the big kitchen space in the Compass Suite to cook group meals, which was a wonderful bonding experience. Then for our actual wedding on Saturday, you couldn't possibly design a more stunning location. We were fortunate for beautiful weather that was not too hot, not too cold, perfect for an afternoon and evening under the stars. Our 115 guests fit perfectly in the space without feeling cluttered at all. We were all treated to the most magnificent, bright pink sunset during our first dance and at the start of dinner, which captivated everyone. Although every part of the whole day and night was pretty much perfect, some highlights included: 1.) A ceremony facing the water, with the two of us and our officiant standing between two palm trees. It was a stunning setting with all the natural beauty you could ask for. 2.) We asked if the band would be comfortable performing with the raised dock/deck as their stage, and to our delight, they said yes! That area made a perfect natural stage with them raised above the crowd, and made for a really cool setting. They even lit up the palm trees, which looked so cool! The best was that our dance floor was mostly sand, which was a blast because everyone (including us) took off our shoes to dance barefoot the whole time, which was comfy and just the best beach vibe ever. 3.) The beautiful outdoor lighting at Banana River Resort is already in place, and is the perfect way to light the reception at night. No extra lighting needed! 4.) The property manager (Denise) and staff at Banana River were incredibly kind, attentive, responsive, and helpful. I could not have asked for better communication and support! :) I could go on and on, but suffice to say: we cannot recommend Banana River Resort enough for your perfect outdoor, scenic waterfront paradise of a wedding!
