Beach Place Guesthouses is the perfect place to have a wedding! From the moment we stepped on site for the first viewing and toured the venue with Stephanie we knew we just had to have our wedding here! We held our ceremony in their amazing and unique oceanfront garden area and had our reception under tents. A lot of our guests were local, but didn’t know of Beach Place or the amazing grounds it offers. Our out of town guests were blown away by the Guesthouses and amenities they offer. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was, and how great the staff was. We had the pleasure of working with Stephanie, Ivy, MaryLynn, Gary and Justin. All helped make sure our special weekend was one one our guests and us will remember for years to come! We stayed in the Jeannie suite and cannot wait to come back for our anniversary next year! If you are looking for a private, outdoor, unique, gorgeous, beachfront location look no further than Beach Place Guesthouses! From the garden to the deck with bridge, water feature and fire pits to the beach you won’t find another location like it in the area! It is truly magical and we are so glad we spent our special weekend celebrating with our guests, and the awesome staff, at Beach Place Guesthouses!

Beach Place Guesthouses was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had 55 guests and it was the perfect size and setting. The fee includes space for rehearsal the night before. The beach and grounds are beautiful so we didn't have to spend a lot on decorations and it cut our floral bill down significantly! Stephanie and Justin were so accommodating and willing to help in any way possible to make the wedding perfect and easy for us. The price was just as expected. Our entire family was very impressed with the rooms and loved the property. We couldn't have asked for anything more. This venue was PERFECT!

What wonderful place to have a wedding! The staff was so accommodating and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful. It is at the beach but not on the beach! Very eclectic and magical. The rooms were a little pricey for some guests but it all worked out in the end. Highly recommend checking them out for a small - medium size guest list.

The staff were super friendly, very accomodating and the rooms clean and bright. The kitchen was a big plus and plenty of towels. While the outward appearance is rustic, the rooms and staff do shine. Would return without hesitation. Extremely classy place to hold a wedding/reception. Beautiful art work, charming place to get a way! Loved it!

We hosted our eighty-person wedding at Beach Place Guest Houses in April 2018. The venue is an amazing garden right on the beach. It was romantic, yet perfect for our family. You feel like you’ve stepped into 1940s Cuba – vintage, pristine, and relaxing! BP provided a beautiful setting for our wedding on their deck, and our reception was under the tent overlooking the ocean. BP provides great service for your entire wedding experience: organization, setup, take down, and everything in between. You have complete discretion to select any vendors you choose – allowing you to customize your event and save money! It was a night (and week) to remember. Every guest loved BP and asked, “how did you find this place?!” It truly is a unique and wonderful venue. Keep in mind it is owned by a couple, so it may take a few days to hear back on certain details while planning. But rest assured, once you arrive, their service is outstanding. Stephanie, Mary Lynn, Gary, Patrick, and the rest of the staff will feel like family once you leave. Our wedding guests rented 16 of the 17 units and everyone loved their stay! BP’s units are amazing and unique, some with beach views, all had lanais, and some had washer/dryers in unit. La Virginia was perfect as the bridal suite. Beach Place has incredible outdoor spaces for you and your guests to enjoy. We just couldn’t believe how perfect the patio and courtyard were to host our family and friends days before the wedding and the big day. Plenty of grills, seating, space for yard games. And the BEACH. Mere steps from your room. BP has beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, and towels for our family. We had a dozen kids ages 2 to 18 and they loved the clean beach, the waves, the toys, the quick access to our rooms, etc. We grilled for dinner most evenings. At night we relaxed around the fire pits. We played and ate and enjoyed every minute. The staff was fantastic and made our wedding day and week unforgettable. It really was a dream wedding. Thanks!

I looked at 8 venues in person with the goal of having a beautiful beach wedding in the morning in May 2024 and I had just that! When I first toured this venue, I liked the natural beauty, eclectic outdoor furnishing, cozy guest rooms, and the personable manager, Marylynn. I decided on this place for my wedding with about 90 guests. It was an overall success, but it came with its pros and cons.
Pros: 1. Having a location on the beach was the goal and the maintenance crew kept the place looking great and they were very friendly and helpful! 2. Everyone was friendly. 3. The venue manager was very flexible with letting me have the ceremony on the beach, choice in guest rooms, and allowing me to bring licensed vendors to service the wedding, even including a babysitting company! I was able to visit multiple times and got a peak inside some empty rooms. We were given one room with a kitchen for catering to use for the wedding.
Cons: 1. After signing the contract and putting a payment down with receipt, Marylynn forgot to save the date for us, which we found out 6 months before the wedding. We did not get a call back the same day we learned this. The next day, we were back on the books and got an apology. Thankfully we were not double booked. 2. Phone calls did not always go through. We often went back and forth between her work phone and personal phone to make it work. She did not prefer email or text but it was an option I used sometimes. 3. Marylynn was up front with limited parking only for guests staying overnight but we were told multiple times that additional parking on 13th and 16th street was free. It is paid parking for $15. 4. Venue was pricey costing $8,000 and we were also required to have 7 rooms booked for no less than 2 nights. We had lots of locals and people from out of town who found cheaper lodging for less than $225 for a one-night stay, so this was difficult for us to fulfill. Her reasoning was to make that half of the property private for the wedding, but this could also be done even with unoccupied rooms for what we paid for. The property was not fully booked the morning of the wedding. 5. There is only wifi in the manager's office and a few feet outside of it. We were not made aware of this until our international guests who rely on wifi checked in a few days prior. I thought it was just spotty in their room, but me and other guests did not have wifi in our rooms either and the local internet connection was poor to non-existent. I was using Tiktok videos online to do my makeup since I was too busy leading up to the wedding to practice. I was delayed up to an hour getting ready until a friend staying at a nearby hotel saved the day coming over to my room in the morning with screenshots and a saved video. I had to delay the start of the wedding and it all stemmed from the lack of wifi and internet connection.
All in all, the venue is pretty but it came with great stress at times that I believe could have been avoided with more careful venue management and more communication about things that are lacking, like the wifi, upfront. This place would be great for a wedding half the size of mine (concerning parking and the significantly increased venue price every 20+ number of wedding guests), that does not require an internet connection for anything, and for those who don't mind the added stress with communication issues.
