Nyami Nyami River Lodge at The Brevard Zoo

We worked with Brevard Zoo for our wedding venue on Aug 9 2025 and we could not have been happier. From the first meeting, they were responsive and attentive to us. On the wedding day, they showed up early, stayed organized, and kept everything stress-free. Our guests are still talking about how great our wedding was. We would 100% recommend to any couple looking to get married to have their wedding at Brevard Zoo. They truly made our big day unforgettable.

Originally planning on just doing a very small ceremony at the courthouse, I had a pipe dream of doing it somewhere meaningful. I didn’t think that with a 2 weeks notice they would even respond to me let alone have something available in my price range. Upon reaching out online, Shai Salter reached out right away and literally made a last minute ceremony perfect. She didn’t just squeeze me in to their busy schedule, she took the time to talk to me after hours when I could get out of work, and gave me options of what I could do and where I could do it. Honestly, it was surprising at how much they offered. She got to know me and gave me recommendations that suited us perfectly and offered things I would have never thought of. I was able to choose me and my wife’s absolute favorite spot in the entire zoo and was able to have the ceremony and tiny reception before the zoo even opened! Shai went above and beyond and I cannot say enough good things about her. She came in on her day off on a Sunday to meet with us and give us a walkthrough of everything. She was patient with all of our questions and even texted me back after hours when I thought of silly little questions. Thank you so very much for making our day so special!

I could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding. The food was amazing. The event coordinator and catering manager literally went above and beyond to make this the best night of our lives. And I have to mention the ANIMALS. I’ve always loved animals so being able to have a few attend my wedding was an incredible experience. We are forever grateful

I can’t even begin to say how incredible our wedding day at the Brevard Zoo was!!! Shai the venue coordinator and Jes the catering manager were great to work with, made our day run so smoothly and the catering was AMAZING!!!! Everyone said how much they enjoyed not only the food but the beautiful venue as well. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

We were so happy that we chose the Nyami Nyami Lodge for our daughter’s wedding reception. Erin was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We had so many guests comment on how the venue was perfect, and they enjoyed seeing all the animals. The caterer was excellent and all the food was delicious. We loved how well organized they were and the set up for the appetizers, bar, and buffet was beautiful. Thank you so much for making our daughter's wedding day so special and memorable. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a wedding or other special occasion venue.

We had our wedding booked with the Zoo through Erin for May 2020. She assisted us with the initial postponement due to COVID and handled our eventual cancellation.

Although we were unable to have our event there I would recommend them to anyone. Erin was a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly helpful in navigating any issue and very responsive. The venue itself was also very flexible. I hope that we will be able to host or attend an event with them in the future.

Our wedding at the Brevard Zoo was perfect! We saw Giraffes during the ceremony and the venue was beautiful! Erin at the zoo made working with them so easy, and I highly recommend Brevard Zoo to anyone else who is looking for a venue! I can't wait to get the photos from my photographer of how great everything looked! It was completely perfect!

Having our wedding at Nyami Nyami Lodge at Brevard zoo was the best wedding decision we made. The venue is breathtaking and so unique. Everywhere you look it’s lush green, surprise animals, just a stunning location! Everyone at the zoo is incredibly kind and helpful as well. Even with Covid going on they made our day safe and special. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding perfect. Event Specialist Erin Gracie was always so quick with emailing us and was a big part of making our day so smooth and beautiful. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue!

I am so happy that I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Nyami Nyami River Lodge. The setting was gorgeous and the cost was very affordable compared to other venues I had checked out. To make the day even more special and memorable we opted to rent an animal to entertain guests before the ceremony (an alpaca) and during the cocktail hour (cockatiel). Our guests had a wonderful time and were complimenting our choice of venue. The wedding director/coordinator at the zoo, Erin, was amazing and so attentive. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is unique and gorgeous, I highly recommend you having it at the Nyami Nyami River Lodge.

The Nyami Nyami Lodge at the Brevard Zoo is absolutely the BEST place to have your wedding and/or reception. The scenery is amazing (giraffes as your backdrop...Hello!!) with plenty of room. The interior can be as casual or as elegant as your vision (and budget) allow. And best of all, Erin Gracie, the Event Coordinator, is absolutely a JOY to worth with. She is soooo helpful and always quick to respond to any question you might have. (Trust me, I asked everything you can think of.) She will offer recommendations, suggestions, thoughts...whatever you ask for, she will provide!
