The Museum of Arts & Sciences is a sophisticated and elegant wedding and event venue in Daytona Beach, Florida, that caters to all couples. You can choose between two museums, the Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) or the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art (BMOA), both of which offer truly unique and incredible wedding settings. Facilities and Capacity
Our facilities at the Museum of Arts & Sciences offer several elegant, modern, and unique indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate the wedding of your dreams.
MOAS
Lohman Planetarium – with seating for 94, a ceremony under the stars is like none other.
Root Hall, located in the center of MOAS, is ideal for intimate receptions and rehearsal dinners. It can accommodate up to 136 guests.
Root Family Museum Train Station is a truly unique space perfect for receptions. It can accommodate 96 seated guests and 179 standing guests.
The Lemerand Wing Main Hall - is our largest rental space, with a capacity of 220 seated guests and 350 standing.
BMOA
The Gallery - features a beautiful grand staircase that provides the perfect setting for a stunning ceremony backdrop. This space can accommodate up to 112 guests.
The Florida Room - designed in a theater style, seats 145 guests with a dance floor.
Courtyard - the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art Courtyard can accommodate 200 or more seated guests and 275 standing guests for an outdoor wedding ceremony, reception, or cocktail hour.
The Education Room - is an excellent option for additional overflow seating or a buffet, accommodating up to 45 guests.
We also offer other event spaces, including the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art Conference Room and the Root Auditorium. In addition to our beautiful venues, we offer a range of services to ensure your event's success.

Absolutely amazing venue!
The venue itself was absolutely stunning! The grand staircase ceremony room, the reception room, the courtyard and the couple extra rooms for getting ready, plus buffet room all worked so well! It’s super convenient how it’s all under one roof and very spacious! The price for the entire space was also very well priced and perfectly fair… I would say the price is a steal. I would note that they have 2 totally separate buildings (on the same property) for weddings and the one we were at was the Cici & Hyatt Brown building.
On the actual day of the wedding the entire staff (security, coordinator, other) was great and also very accommodating. They mostly stayed out of the way but also were right there if we needed anything at all! I couldn’t be more happy and thankful for their help!
I would also note that this venue allowed ample amount of time to set up! This was great because we finished early and then could relax a minute and breathe before the start of the wedding.
The location is also perfect! We wanted a beach location without the Florida elements affecting the actual wedding day. The museum is all indoors (and you have the option of the outdoor courtyard if you want). This venue is located 10 mins or less away from the beach. Tons of hotels, restaurants, VENDORS and beach access all close by! Our flower vendor and makeup/hair vendor were only 5-10 minutes from the venue. It really is conveniently placed for so many things if you are looking to wed in the Daytona Beach area!
I could probably go on and on about how amazing our wedding day was AND how amazingly perfect this venue was for us. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!!
