Unfortunately, we had to close the Lowndes Shakespeare Center for the near future as we adhere to the CDC guidelines regarding the COVID-19 virus.

We hope that this will be resolved quickly but at this moment there is no timeline for us to reopen the building.

Facilities and Capacity

This venue offers flexible event space for weddings and other special celebrations. For indoor events, Orlando Shakes provides Dr. Phillip’s Patrons Room, which is a circular area featuring a 25-foot-high dome ceiling. When holding your celebration here, you can host between 80 and 125 of your loved ones, depending on your chosen seating arrangement. For couples wanting to hold their event outside, they can avail of the open-air Darden Courtyard. This area is situated past the front entrance of the Shakespeare Center and can accommodate up to 250 guests, depending on the layout. Your chosen caterer will appreciate the well-equipped catering kitchen located on site. In addition, a brick-paved parking lot is just outside of the venue’s entrance, providing free and easy parking for the guests attending your event.
