Wedding Photography in Colorado

John and his second shooter (wife Becky) did a fantastic job with our wedding and engagement shoot. John worked with us as much as we needed leading up to both events and helped make sure we all were aligned on the photography plan for the wedding day. We felt so comfortable with John and he was so experienced and professional it was one less thing we had to worry about on our wedding day. It was very important to us that we (and our guests) didn’t feel like the photographer was intruding on our day at all, and he did a fantastic job of somehow capturing everything but never being noticed. He was also right on with delivering photos after our wedding and engagement, plus his portfolio is true to his style - natural and beautiful! We highly recommend John for all of your future events!

Jenna was a pleasure to work with for our engagement photos! Her approach is incredibly personal and authentic, not to mention she made my very camera shy fiance so comfortable. After a lifetime of hating to have his photo taken, after working with Jenna, he said "that was pretty fun...". I was shocked! She really made our shoot memorable and the experience of hiring her, shooting with her, and receiving our photos was top notch from start to finish. We've had literally tons of compliments on our pics and save the dates. I can't say enough good things about Jenna. Kiki was absolutely awesome to work with. She was a joy during the planning process, and had so much knowledge about Created Butte (in addition to giving great suggestions about other vendors and the overall vision). On the day of the wedding, she was just the low key / low stress vibe we needed (even as it threatened to rain), and did such a good job providing us with structure / advice that was balanced with flexibility to our own ideas / requests. And the photos came out BEAUTIFULLY!!! She captured everything with an incredible eye, both for the scenery and the moments themselves, and we loved the aesthetic of her approach. All in all couldn’t recommend more.

Mark did an excellent job capturing our special day! His photos came out beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!

Definitely recommend Yellow Paddle Photography for photo and video! The quality (especially) for the price was wonderful! Our team (Karlie, Danny, and Conner) was so friendly and professional! From our initial introductory phone call, I was beyond impressed with Bethany at Elevate. She was so prepared for our call and walked me through things even our wedding coordinator had not mentioned. After just that one phone call, I knew she was the photographer I wanted, and I could not be happier that we found her! Bethany was so laid back and fun at our engagement shoot, she even won over my husband who absolutely hates having his photo taken. She was super communicative, and always positive, reassuring and calm/cool/collected. She listened to all of our requests and was patient and flexible with everything leading up to and on the day of, despite some chaos with family and weather. Elevate's pricing is super competitive (honestly, I was expecting to pay more for everything we got). They also include a slideshow during the wedding reception, which I have to admit I was hesitant about and actually considered asking them not to do, but am so glad I didn't! Countless guests commented on how amazing the slideshow was and how they'd never been to a wedding that had that before -- people got teared up. And it was so fun to take a couple minutes to pause and relive some of the moments from earlier in the day. We got both our engagement and wedding photos back within a month, and they are just superb. I ordered some prints from our engagement shoot from them already, and the quality is great. There are so many incredible shots from our wedding, I don't know how I'm going to choose prints or what to include in an album! Bethany and Nate were just amazing, and I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with having found and hired Elevate.
