Rachel capture four engagement photos, and we loved her so much we asked her to capture our big day too! She is so bubbly and fun to work with, her personality really helped put me at ease despite all the stresses of the day. We got all of the shots we wanted and more, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!!

We found our photographer on The Knot, and from the very beginning she was absolutely incredible to work with. She completely understood the vision we had for our wedding — a carefree, intimate elopement-style day focused on genuine moments instead of overly posed photos. Since this was a second marriage for both of us, it was really important that everything felt natural, relaxed, and authentic, and she captured that perfectly.

She went far beyond just taking photos. She gave thoughtful suggestions on ceremony locations in Colorado, helped us think through ways to keep the day meaningful without overspending, and truly cared about making our experience special. One of my favorite ideas she suggested was creating my bouquet from grocery store flowers to save money — and honestly, it turned out absolutely gorgeous and even more meaningful because of how personal and simple it was.

Throughout the entire process, she was flexible, supportive, creative, and willing to go the extra mile for us. The photos are beautiful because they feel real — candid, emotional, joyful, and completely “us.” We could not have asked for a better photographer or experience, and I would recommend her to anyone wanting a laid-back, authentic wedding day captured perfectly.
