Kari is not only an incredible photographer, but also just a joyful human. We were lucky to work with Kari for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. She has such a positive energy that radiates to everyone around her. My family has always joked that my dad ran away from the photographer at his wedding so I was a bit worried about getting him to be engaged in our photos. Within two minutes he commented that he would have loved getting his picture taken at his wedding if his photographer was more like Kari! She makes a very long part of the day fun and the pictures truly reflect that. I’ve been to a few weddings where the photographers were actively trying to stage the reception and it was very noticeable but Kari was the total opposite - just working the room and capturing everyone in their glory. Truly could not have better things to say about working with Kari. I found her on the knot and it was the best decision we made for engagement pictures! First of all, Kari is incredibly responsive and detail oriented. I suggested a location and she countered with a slightly different one that had less foot traffic and it was perfect! She perfectly coordinated timing of the photos with the best lighting. But most importantly, she has incredible energy and gave us the perfect amount of direction. She made what would have been something awkward into a fun time for me and my fiancé! Lastly, her photos are incredible. I could not love ours anymore and we have gotten so so many compliments. Please do yourself a favor and hire her for all of your photography needs, you will not regret it!

Kari was absolutely phenomenal. We loved how our wedding (Evergreen Lake House) and engagement (hike at St. Mary’s Glacier) photos turned out, but just as importantly, we loved working with her. Wedding planning, especially during a pandemic, is stressful, but Kari went above and beyond and truly was involved throughout the process (last-minute pandemic changes and all!) She gives great directions and truly has an eye for what will look good on camera. I cannot recommend Kari enough!

Working with Kari was AMAZING! She was such a professional throughout the entire process and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. We used her for both our engagement photos and our wedding which was the best decision we could've made. My husband and I both come from very large families and were concerned that family pictures at the wedding was going to eat up a lot of time, but Kari was able to work her magic and capture pictures of all our loved ones without wasting any time. Choosing your wedding photographer is a big deal! Wedding pictures are forever!! If you only read this much, do yourself a favor and HIRE KARI! Before meeting Kari I obsessed over her portfolio online. When we first met in person, she managed my frazzled, on my lunch hour with my notebook of questions self with patience and compassion. All communication with her leading up to our big day was so easy. Together we planned a first look surprise with the best man in a wedding dress. She was integral in making it happen down to saying things to my husband before the reveal like, "Oh she looks beautiful!" I cannot properly explain how much I trusted her - she transferred our wedding rings to the best man before the ceremony! She also managed my family circus including 10 kids under the age of 9. My husband had reservations about being photographed all day and commented on how comfortable he felt with her. Working with Kari was effortless and the pictures are gorgeous! I cannot recommend Kari enough! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Kari was recommended by another photographer we had considered who was out of our budget and it was truly a blessing to be connected with her. Kari is absolutely AMAZING! She is seriously one of the kindest people I have ever met and was such a dream to work with. From the moment I connected with Kari, I knew she was the perfect match for our day. Her portfolio displayed beautiful photos and she was willing to work with our budget (so so thankful for this). Our wedding celebration fell on Kari's birthday and she came and celebrated with us. Kari went above and beyond for us, the entire grooms party and the groom were late to the venue, pushing photo time back and she stayed longer to make sure we got the full time with her. The quality of her pictures exceeded our expectations and honestly so did her turn around time. Kari is an absolute pleasure to work with and I would love to have her do any photoshoots for our family again in the future! Kari is amazing! We used her three times, for our engagement photos, our elopement photos and our larger wedding celebration photos. She was so easy to work with and made us feel super comfortable right from the start. She stood in the freezing rain with us at sunset for our elopement photos in October, she stood on top of a mountain pass at sunrise in the snow when it was 5 degree out for our elopement in March and she flew to Cape Cod, Massachusetts for our wedding celebration in June. She was so easy going with the travel process. She came to our pre-wedding bbq the night before the wedding and everyone absolutely loved her. Our family and friends had nothing but great things to say about her. We were absolutely blown away by all of the photos. I honestly can't pick a favorite set of photos, they're all so amazing. If you're looking for an amazing photographer in Colorado, I would definitely recommend using Kari!

Kari is creative, leads the session effectively and efficiently with great suggestions for angles/backgrounds, and is incredibly professional. She was prompt with communication throughout the entire process; from booking to delivery of the final products, and was incredibly responsive to all communication initiated on my (the client) end. Kari was incredibly organized prior to our wedding day, gathering information regarding specific shots that we desired, and wasted no time in herding our rowdy crew into each requested shot; all with grace and a great sense of humor.
