This is another one that's not the cheapest, but they did an amazing job. I got tons of compliments on my hair. They did my hair, my mother's, and two of my bridesmaids. It was tough, but they were able to accommodate us on relatively short notice. I get the sense that they do lots of brides, so they understand the pressure of a wedding and can work with you. They also did makeup for myself and my mother. They did a run-through of hair and makeup for me the week prior, and Chinatsu was a great listener and fantastic stylist. I graded them lower on responsiveness because when I left a message, I didn't get a call back because they lost my number. Luckily, I persisted and called again. This is probably not a regular occurence!

I got married 2 weeks ago and Yvette did the makeup for me, 4 bridesmaids and my mother. Yvette scheduled a trial appointment with me and one bridesmaid a couple months prior to the wedding. My bridesmaid and I were very happy with the trial run, but since I was getting married in the summer, in a garden/natural venue, I wanted a lighter and more natural look to the makeup. We didn't have a second trial, so I was a bit nervous about changing the makeup. However, Yvette knew exactly what I meant and adjusted accordingly. Yvette did a fantastic job with our makeup. She was super nice and easy to work with. The best part was that after an 8+ hour day, I didn't have to touch up my makeup once! It was awesome! Thank you, Yvette, for your beautiful work. I highly recommend her for wedding makeup or any event.

HIGHLIGHTS: -Delivered exactly what I asked for -Professional, easy to work with -Great value for what I paid Ceci truly has a keen eye for art and making you feel beautiful. Prior to my wedding, I was able to do a trial run with her. I showed Ceci photos of hair and make-up looks I liked. She asked me to describe the look I was going for and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted before beginning the trial. I really liked the fact that Ceci also threw out a few options and ideas that I would have never thought of. At the end of the trial, she told me about a few skin care tips to do prior to the wedding to help make sure I glowed on my special day. Post trial, my makeup lasted all day in the scorching 95 degree heat. I have combination skin and I was shocked that I did not look oily and beat up at the end of the day. My hair is super thick, long and kinky and some of my curls fell midway through the day. However, I contacted Ceci, and showed her the after photos. She knew exactly how to fix that problem and my hair turned out AMAZING on the actual day of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, Ceci arrived to my "getting ready site" on time, was pleasant, easy to work with and very professional throughout the entire process. My hair and makeup turned out exactly how I wanted it. I am very particular about my eye brows and I asked her to re-shape one eyebrow two different times because it was not cooperating that morning. Ceci happily continued to redo the eyebrow without any grief until it turned out exactly how I like it. It felt really amazing to have someone listen to your wants and needs and then execute your vision perfectly. I would hands down recommend Ceci to anyone who is looking for a professional make-up and/or hair artist for any event.

Finding a beauty person for your wedding day can be sometimes a tricky part of the planing to navigate. Over the course of two months I finally came across Polish & Glo and found the responsive communication, skill, and pricing was a perfect match. When meeting with the owner Natalie, she was quite a pleasant person to interact with on both professionalism and knowledge of how to prep all the way to my official day. I would highly recommend going over packages with her as it was one of the highlights of relaxation leading up to my wedding day.
