From our first phone call consultation to the wedding day, Lisa was so fun to work with! She listened to my ideas and concerns from the get-go and did a really gorgeous trial run in April. She gave me some skin care tips to ensure we could achieve the look I wanted, and gave me notes for my hair stylist to make sure everything was perfect on my wedding day. The day of the wedding she was punctual and created a very relaxed atmosphere. She was fun to chat with and was very efficient with her time. Most of all, I appreciated that I still felt like me -and very comfortable in my skin - after a full face makeup application. I LOVED the final look and it LASTED. I have very thick, heavy, long hair and had it up in an updo. I danced for hours and not a single hair came out of place, and there wasn’t a trace of smudged eye makeup. I have no idea how she did it, but Lisa works miracles.

A wedding is a special day. For a bride and groom it means a day filled with lots of attention. Being a hair stylist I'm more used to focusing on other people than I'm am people looking at me, and a lot more comfortable that way. I deliberately cut my hair short in preparation for my Big Day, convinced I wanted something easier than "low maintenance." Makeup, I thought, should be über simplistic. I would do it myself. I had often enough, right? A little tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, creme cheek tint, mascara, and gloss. That didn't sound too stressful. Fast forward to the day of. Waking up at the crack of dawn to finish organizing table center pieces, candy buffet items, a million last minute adjustments.... and oh yea, I had also decided to style my bridesmaids' hair. What was I thinking?! A few hours (and glasses of champagne) later I sat down to apply my makeup. Sure, I had practiced. Sure, I wanted something simple. But being in the beauty industry I should have remembered that nothing takes the place of skilled artesian with a steady hand on a day filled with chaos. After a shaky self start Alicia, who (thank goodness) I had (being a dear friend as well as a stellar esthetician) chosen to be one of my b.maids, took charge. She immediately switched from supportive friend to professional Beauty Sensai. She applied enough product so that my photos looked great throughout the wedding, even in temperatures that threatened to creep over 100 degrees, but I never felt gunky or weighed down. Even my hubby, who prefers me makeup-free, remarked on how lovely and natural it looked. Thank you, Alicia! For all your time, support, laughter, and helping hands. You are a true artist, and I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Kelly and JD made me look and feel so pretty for my daughter's wedding. Kelly is a very talented makeup artist and JD is just as talented with hair and makeup. I have never seen my daughter and her bridal party look so beautiful. They were so pleasant to have in the room getting everyone ready. They were both so sweet and professional. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup at all but they made me feel stunning as well. Kelly airbrushed my foundation smoothly and evenly and JD did a fantastic job with the rest of my makeup, it was natural and youthful looking just what I wanted. It lasted throughout the wedding and reception and I received many compliments through the evening. I felt exactly how the mother of the bride wants to feel, simply exquisite! Thank you so much ladies, my daughters and I have never felt more beautiful in our lives!

Shawna is by far the best (and nicest) stylist that I have ever met! She will make you feel so beautiful and confident, even before she puts makeup on you! On the morning of, she was so professional and was able to get 4 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and myself completely glamified (with the help of her wonderful stylist Allie). I got airbrush makeup for the day of and my makeup DID NOT MOVE. Even with dancing and sweating and an entire day of moving around, my makeup looked just as beautiful as when she put it on! I highly HIGHLY recommend her services for anything from a wedding to just a night out. You won't regret it!!
