I got married 2 weeks ago and Yvette did the makeup for me, 4 bridesmaids and my mother. Yvette scheduled a trial appointment with me and one bridesmaid a couple months prior to the wedding. My bridesmaid and I were very happy with the trial run, but since I was getting married in the summer, in a garden/natural venue, I wanted a lighter and more natural look to the makeup. We didn't have a second trial, so I was a bit nervous about changing the makeup. However, Yvette knew exactly what I meant and adjusted accordingly. Yvette did a fantastic job with our makeup. She was super nice and easy to work with. The best part was that after an 8+ hour day, I didn't have to touch up my makeup once! It was awesome! Thank you, Yvette, for your beautiful work. I highly recommend her for wedding makeup or any event.

Yvette and her friend Janeiya did my hair and makeup for my wedding. From the beginning of our emailing to see if they could do the look I was going for, were available, and their costs, they were a YESYESYES for me. Yvette responded immediately to my inquiries and sent me example pictures based on the loose descriptions I gave. She had insight into what would look good with my face that I could never have come up with on my own. What initially made me interested in her was the wide variety of looks she was clearly capable of producing, from stylized/hipster/20s/50s, to modern "common" model, to subdued. The trial was great- super fun- she was easy to talk to and able to take my vague requests and manifest what I was looking for. Day of, she was early and ready to go, flexible with our needed location move mid-makeup, made all my friends and family look gorgeous, plus everyone loved her and felt totally comfortable with her. On top of all that she was the most reasonably priced of anyone I looked at. Even with driving an hour to Santa Cruz from the Bay. I highly recommend her!

Yvette is the MOST unprofessional, unresponsive, makeup artist I've encountered. She arrived to my photoshoot almost 30 minutes LATE and when I brought it up to her she responded as if my time was not valuable enough for her to be on time. BEWARE she asks for a deposit upfront, but you can rest assured she has a problem with punctuality. Hire her at your own risk!
