We went into the process without a clear idea of what we wanted, and she patiently worked with us, helping us every step of the way to create the most beautiful wedding weekend. She translated my scattered, half-formed ideas about the “vibe” I wanted, into a cohesive, stunning vision that felt uniquely and effortlessly us. Not only does she have all of the skills you need in a wedding planner - organized, keeping us on track, negotiating great rates, problem solver, and knowledgable - but she is also so kind, thoughtful, creative, sweet, and a genuine joy to spend time with.

We planned our wedding with her in under 10 months and she made the whole planning process feel manageable, exciting, and so much fun. She found us amazing, sweet, and affordable vendors that helped bring our vision to life in a meaningful way. LOVED our vendors. Our vendors and our wedding venue team LOVED working with her every step of the way. She handled everything. She was also always available to text or call with us, and dealt with my many late night crazy wedding ideas with an open mind :) I am someone who asks a million questions and wants to understand everything, and she was there to answer every single one in a timely manner. She was a true partner in every moment.

The week of my wedding, one of the worst storms in southern California hit, and I was panicking. I could NOT have handled this without Jessa. She worked quickly to put together backup options for me, calling in favors from vendors and ordering new decor to her house last minute, to ensure any backup plan would not feel like a backup and would still bring our vision to life. Rain was probably the one thing I was most sad / scared of, and somehow she simultaneously made me feel validated in my feelings, but also confident that everything would turn out okay and excited about the changes. Everything turned out beautifully and exceeded ALL of our expectations. Most importantly, she took care of everything, allowing my husband and I to be truly present and enjoy the weekend to the fullest. There were so many things that came together last minute without me having to give it a moment's thought. She also had an incredible day-of team, that was always around to help with any questions me or any of the guests had. Everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and when, and each event flowed perfectly and went off without a hitch!

Jessa was without a doubt the best investment we made for our wedding and I cannot recommend her enough. She went above and beyond at every step of the way - even doing things she wasn't contractually obligated to do, just because she cares. Oh, and she did all of this while growing a baby. She's insane. We love her!!

P.S. I also have many friends planning CA weddings now with more expensive wedding planners, and hearing about their experiences has only made me feel even more confident that Jessa was the best decision we made. Jessa was so much more responsive than any of them, got us better prices on EVERYTHING, and was more like a friend / partner to us than any of them have been to my friends. I hired Jessa Dunn as our full service/lead wedding planner from White Lace Events and where do I even begin... she was born to be a wedding planner!! From the second we reached out to Jessa, she made our 1.5 years of wedding planning so much fun and stress free. She was hands down the best decision we could've ever made. She was so knowledgeable, accommodating of our budget, extremely responsive, energetic, creative, a problem solver, and truly exceeded our all of our expectations through the roof. Our wedding day was out of a fairytale and it was all because of her. She made us feel like we were her only wedding, never made us feel like she was busy which is insane considering I know she took on 12 full service weddings our year and was not only planning and attending those meetings daily, but also growing a baby! I seriously can't imagine if I had picked anyone else. A lot of my friends getting married would tell me about their planners not getting back to them for weeks/months at a time, that was the exact opposite with white lace. I was even 3 hours ahead of her time zone as I live on the east coast and she somehow managed to respond to my million questions a day quicker than I would ever expect someone to get back to me. From every vendor decision, small details, food tastings, mock ups, my inspo changing monthly, design decisions, issues that came up, headcount changes, my indecisiveness, etc.... she truly handled our 200 person wedding with grace!!!
She was such a pro at designing a wedding around what was most important to my fiance and I. The entire process was such a breeze in the sense that they are professionals- the timeline, calls/meetings, budget planning, the software they use to send quotes and to do lists, etc is top notch and they truly take the stress off of your shoulders. The wedding day went so smoothly, but it's because of the team at White Lace. Planning our California wedding all the way from the east coast was all possible because of Jessa & White Lace. I would recommend them to every single bride getting married in Southern California. Jessa is an expert, her vendor relationships are incredible, all vendors we spoke with love her and prefer to work with her and that especially showed while getting quotes back and speaking to other vendors. We are so glad we went with Jessa/White Lace Events!!!!!! It was truly the best day of our lives!

We had the absolute best experience with Elena, who was everything you could want in a planner: poised and steady, completely in command of the schedule, and somehow everywhere at once on the day of our wedding. She kept the entire day running seamlessly and ensured every detail came together exactly as planned. Even when little hiccups popped up (because there are always a few!), she handled them with total grace and professionalism. At one point, an unexpected guest showed up, and Elena managed it quietly and efficiently before we even knew there was an issue.

Beyond her incredible execution the day of, Elena was a true partner throughout the planning process. She was consistently communicative, organized, and proactive, checking in often and making it easy for us to fully trust that everything was handled. She has that rare ability to be both highly detail-oriented and deeply kind, keeping things moving forward while making you feel completely at ease.

What really stood out to us was how Elena supported us through a personal family emergency that came up partway through planning. She immediately stepped in to reschedule meetings, coordinate with our vendor team, and turned what could have been a very stressful and helpless moment into one that allowed us to focus on helping each other get through a tough time. That level of empathy and professionalism is something we’ll never forget.

She helped us set a strong foundation by locking in key details, organizing decisions, and setting the tone for the calm, thoughtful experience that followed. Choosing White Lace as our wedding planner vendor was the best decision we made for our wedding! It was a big decision for us, as it is for most couples, especially because we were from out of town for our October 2025 wedding in La Jolla. We knew we needed full planning services as we did not know the area and did not know where to start when it came to choosing vendors and design. We had the absolute best experience working with Krissie and White Lace Event & Design! From the very beginning, she made the entire wedding planning process feel seamless and stress-free. We worked with her for about a year to plan our wedding at my grandparents’ ranch, which required bringing in everything — from ceremony chairs and an aisle runner to dinner tables for 240 guests, dinnerware, bartending, catering, lights, flowers, and more.
Krissie’s experience really showed — she gave us fantastic vendor recommendations and guided us every step of the way. She and her team went above and beyond during wedding week, spending multiple days on site to make sure everything was set up and running smoothly. It was a huge task, but they handled it flawlessly.

There was not a single time in which we doubted making a decision because we had Jessa helping guide us to the best possible outcome. Even when there was some unforeseen construction that could have made our wedding less than ideal, she pulled some strings, and the construction went away.
