If you asked any of my friends to describe me, “Type A” probably would not even cover it. I am Type A+. I am incredibly detail oriented, organized, particular, and usually know exactly what I want. So when I started planning our wedding 15 months ago, I knew I needed a planner who could keep up with me and stay ten steps ahead, but who would also bring a sense of calm to the process and never make me feel rushed or overwhelmed. Jessa was that person and so much more.

I went into planning with a very clear vision, but I had also never planned a wedding before. It is so easy to get lost in Pinterest, trends, and everything you are told you are “supposed” to do. From the beginning, I told Jessa the two things I cared about most were that our wedding felt like us and that everyone in the room could feel how much love was there. She never lost sight of that.

We had a very large wedding and a venue with some tricky logistical challenges because of our guest count. I was also incredibly specific about the look and feel. I wanted everything chic, elevated, and beautiful, but still simple and never overdone or corny. Jessa understood exactly what I meant and figured out how to bring every idea to life while making everything feel cohesive and completely us.

She is one of the calmest, coolest, most organized and resourceful people I have ever met. She was ALWAYS on it. Her vendor recommendations were top tier and every one felt intentional. She gave us amazing options within our budget, while also showing us choices slightly below and above so we could decide where we wanted to save or upgrade. We ultimately stayed under our wedding budget, which says so much about how thoughtfully she guided us.

What stands out most is how I felt throughout the entire process. From day one, people constantly asked me if I was stressed, and I genuinely never was. Then during our wedding weekend, multiple vendors told me I was one of the calmest and most relaxed brides they had ever worked with. That is truly a reflection of Jessa. I could be that bride because I trusted her completely.

Our wedding day was perfect. Not one thing went wrong from my perspective. I never felt like I needed to check on anything, solve a problem, or worry about what was happening behind the scenes. I got to simply be a bride, marry my best friend, and be completely present with the people we love. And somehow, 15 months after I first described my vision to Jessa, the day felt exactly how I had hoped. It felt like us, and there was so much love in that room.

The week of my wedding, one of the worst storms in southern California hit, and I was panicking. I could NOT have handled this without Jessa. She worked quickly to put together backup options for me, calling in favors from vendors and ordering new decor to her house last minute, to ensure any backup plan would not feel like a backup and would still bring our vision to life. Rain was probably the one thing I was most sad / scared of, and somehow she simultaneously made me feel validated in my feelings, but also confident that everything would turn out okay and excited about the changes. Everything turned out beautifully and exceeded ALL of our expectations. Most importantly, she took care of everything, allowing my husband and I to be truly present and enjoy the weekend to the fullest. There were so many things that came together last minute without me having to give it a moment's thought. She also had an incredible day-of team, that was always around to help with any questions me or any of the guests had. Everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and when, and each event flowed perfectly and went off without a hitch!

Jessa was without a doubt the best investment we made for our wedding and I cannot recommend her enough. She went above and beyond at every step of the way - even doing things she wasn't contractually obligated to do, just because she cares. Oh, and she did all of this while growing a baby. She's insane. We love her!!

I also have many friends planning CA weddings now with more expensive wedding planners, and hearing about their experiences has only made me feel even more confident that Jessa was the best decision we made. Jessa was so much more responsive than any of them, got us better prices on EVERYTHING, and was more like a friend / partner to us than any of them have been to my friends. She was such a pro at designing a wedding around what was most important to my fiance and I. The entire process was such a breeze in the sense that they are professionals- the timeline, calls/meetings, budget planning, the software they use to send quotes and to do lists, etc is top notch and they truly take the stress off of your shoulders. The wedding day went so smoothly, but it's because of the team at White Lace. Planning our California wedding all the way from the east coast was all possible because of Jessa & White Lace. I would recommend them to every single bride getting married in Southern California. Jessa is an expert, her vendor relationships are incredible, all vendors we spoke with love her and prefer to work with her and that especially showed while getting quotes back and speaking to other vendors.
