I love officiating, have officiated for over ten years, and my five star reviews say it all. I listen, I prioritize my couple's wedding ceremonies,write a one of a kind ceremonies, and I write the ceremony until it is perfect for the two of you. You have final approval.
I am a professional officiant and I know what that takes. Things happen that can really be challenging to make the ceremony flow perfectly, I have seen many unforeseen things happen and made it all work out. I am a professional, I have experience to go with the flow through those challenging moments.
It is my mission to guide you in the ceremony process. The way I create the ceremony is to ask each of you questions, I really listen, you can ask me questions and collectively we get to understand each other. I get to understand what you are looking for.
I send lots of ideas, resources and you send me your ideas too.
At the end of the process the ceremony is a piece of art that says this is our love, this is US.
My intention will always to be to engage the guests and so they feel like they are part of your day too!
I know how to write a ceremony that comes from the heart and that speaks of the couples love, likes and passions. I graduated from One Spirit Seminary in New York. I know about interfaith and interspiritual and that we all have our own path to love. I write lots of ceremonies for couples that are not religious, not especially religious but members of their family are. I have a wealth of resources touse in any type of ceremony.
I love nature, I love hiking, walking in the woods, camping, and just simply being in the Woods. I also have a passion for living a healthy lifestyle. Yoga, meditation, and living mindfully are my choice.
I officiate in old barns, top of mountains, by a lake, river, in a field, in the woods,
in a hotel or old inns, grand ballrooms,
many Lake George venues have seen my officiating,
backyards, homes, gorgeous country clubs, and in a park.
Mountains that I love: Adirondacks, Poconos, and the lovely Green Mountains.
I love ceremony, rituals, and most of all LOVE. It's what we all need!

I offer Zoom, phone, or in person consultations. This how we get to know each other, share what you are looking for (even if you are not sure what that is), and ask questions to ensure I would be a good fit for your wedding ceremony. I explain my process and go from there.

Amazing experience
During the ceremony, Janet commanded everyone’s attention and took control which made everything go very smoothly. What we appreciated the most at certain moments, she would tell us both to take a deep breath and breathe. That helped calm our nerves and for us to re focus, which was extremely helpful. If you are looking for an officiant who is a great person, well organized and very professional, we highly recommend Janet!
