Malissa is a native Southern Californian and has always had a tremendous interest in all types of art. Malissa graduated from the University of Southern California in 2004 with a degree in Fine Art and Italian. In addition to being an accomplished artist she has always had a passion for baking. With that in mind, Malissa decided to combine her love of art with her love of baking and Violet Cake Co. opened its doors. Since then she has been creating fabulous cakes for all occasions, wedding cakes being among her most sought after. Malissa is dedicated to adding personal touches to your cake that reflect your style, your wishes and your once in a lifetime vision for memories that will last forever.
Like Malissa, Maria is also a native San Diegan and has been with Violet Cake Co. since it opened it's doors in 2020. A former business owner, lawyer and entrepeneur, Maria brings a wealth of experience both in the real world and in the behind the scenes world of the growth and success of new businesses. Maria's favorite thing about her job is overseeing every detail of a client's order is iihandled andfeeling rewarded abouto hooaing to be a part of our clients' special day.
