The Velvet Sky Cakes were a great treat which was liked by guests at our wedding. Their Vanilla Maple and Lemon Blueberry were sweet and flavorful! In collaboration with Party Girl Bake Club, Velvet Sky Bakery did a fantastic job of creating artistic cake pieces which fit within the Aesthetic Vibe of “American Revolution Hobbit Hole”, critical towards matching the vibes of our venue, our family farm at London Purchase Farm. Jordan was great! I wanted cupcakes rather than a grand cake, and she came through! We had four different flavors and one small cake topper. She perfectly executed my desire for great tasting cupcakes and a simple, elegant look.

My husband and I first noticed Velvet Sky Bakery when we watched sugar rush and loved the fox cake Jordan made. We always wanted to visit her shop since then. When it came to our wedding, we tried other bakeries first that had good right ups and were more local to us but the others weren’t invested in us and not as personal. From when we first met Jordan, we noticed she treated us differently. She made an effort to know us and our vision for our cake from the start. She attentive to our questions and overall kind. Her cakes were absolutely delicious and we loved them along with those who tried it. I also noticed despite her accomplishments as a baker, she is still humble which I think is such a rare quality to see today. Our cake when we got to our wedding reception was exactly as we pictured it to be and the taste was delicious. Thank you Jordan for making mine and Brandon’s day special! ❤️

Jordan and Velvet Sky were our dream wedding baker! She spent so much time working with us to design our cake and made both a custom cake topper and custom Nutella buttercream icing. It was some of the best tasting cake we've ever had too. Thank you!

Jordan worked with us on our vision of a separate tier rustic cake and was extremely helpful in providing us with a tasting prior to deciding on our cakes. She was responsive and professional over both email and the phone which was crucial for us. The actual cake itself was fantastic and we received great feedback from our guests. The vision my husband and I had for our wedding cake was anything but regular. If I had to quote Jordan on her reaction to this cake proposal was “Well, this will be the most interesting I have ever made.” Trust us when we say that this cake was an absolute success and an immediate hit with our guests. Jordan expertly crafted the Avengers Tower flanked by The Hulk and Philadelphia Flyers mascot, Gritty. This cake was all supported by the love of Sailor Moon and the other pretty guardians along with the vast galaxy facade.

We found the entire process super easy and fun. Jordan provided a cake tasting box to take home and enjoy in the comfort of our home. We’re a little partial, but check out the oreo filling and the red velvet cake flavors. We found this part of the cake process satisfying. Pure customization amongst so many options. Once my husband and I were done throwing all these nerdy ideas at Jordan, we felt Jordan rolled up her sleeves ready for this challenge. Her attention to detail was remarkable. Jordan and I spent a good deal of time discussing a mold for a crystal lotus flower. She absolutely nailed it. What can be made out of sugar, cake, and fondant is extraordinary. Jordan is not only an artist, but an engineer! My husband and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend working with Jordan at Velvet Sky Bakery for all your wedding cakes needs. We will be using Jordan in the future for birthdays and showers.

I highly recommend all your baked good needs for your wedding. I worked with Jordan in designing my husband's Star Wars cake while still looking like a wedding cake as our top tier. My husband and I got to pick cake flavors to try them at home together with their vegan and regular frostings. We were able to creating unique flavor combinations for our cupcakes in lieu of a multi-tiered wedding cake. We were also about to rent the cupcake tower from Velvet Sky. They delivered and set up the cake and cupcakes for us which made the day stress-free. Jordan was great to work with and good communication throughout the process. All my guests loved the vegan and regular cupcakes and they are all reasonably priced. Vegan cupcakes tastes as good as the regular ones that guests couldn't tell. I would highly recommend Velvet Sky for all baked needs not even for your wedding.

A three-tier wedding cake from Velvet Sky Bakery was included in our wedding package through Kimpton Hotel Palomar, and I'm so glad that it was. Not only was our cake beautiful to look at, it was delicious - even family members who are not traditionally dessert-eaters loved this cake. We chose vanilla cake with raspberry filling for the bottom tier, chocolate cake with chocolate filling for the middle, and red velvet with cream cheese filling for the top, which we took home with us. We live in the UK, but held our wedding in Philadelphia, and Jordan was so accommodating, meeting with me via Zoom to plan out the design of the cake and organising a take-out box of cake samples so we could try flavours during a quick trip to the city last November. I sketched out a rough design of what we wanted, and the cake was an exact replica of my idea. We were blown away by the cake and can't thank Jordan and her team enough for baking our dream cake!

Words cannot describe how happy we are with how things turned out for our special day. Jordan was perfect throughout the entire process! We provided her will details on exactly what we wanted and she executed it FLAWLESSLY. The cakes are beautiful, moist, and delicious. Jordan and her staff are all very friendly, and professional. They seem like a cornerstone of the community they are located in.

I have lots of allergies (gluten, dairy, citrus, peanuts, etc) and I was assuming I wouldn't get to eat my own wedding cake. Luckily, I found Velvet Sky Bakery. I ordered a mini cupcake tower and a small wedding cake on top, which was gluten and dairy free, white frosted with gold flakes, spice cake. It was beautiful and SO DELICIOUS. I couldn't believe how good it was. After we cut the cake I ate two more slices right away. The service was great, too. They delivered to the venue on the day of the event and set up the cupcake tower for us. It was really special to be able to enjoy my own wedding cake.
