Best Tiramisu you will ever have!

We buy all of the cakes for family occasions from Roma Bakery of Blue Bell -- birthday celebrations, anniversaries (and of course we always wind up buying pastries and cookies, too, when we visit the shop), so we knew that we wanted Roma to make our wedding cake for us. We even had a sample cake several weeks before the ceremony, so we could 'taste' the pound cake with raspberry filling. To be honest, every cake we have ever bought from Roma, including the 'taster' cake, paled in comparison to our wedding cake. That Italian buttercream icing was utterly to DIE for, and the raspberry was a perfect complement.. did I mention that the icing was amazing? It was thick, and velvet-smooth; sweet, but not cloying; the best word I think is probably 'rich'. The cake was decorated to our exact specifications, customized for us, and delivered on time and in perfect condition. :-)

Roma's Bakery was great. Our wedding cake was beautiful and tasted so good. I would highly recommend Roma's bakery.

Our wedding cake from Roma Bakery was included in the cost of our venue's wedding package. We weren't sure how the cake was going to taste, but the tasting set our minds at ease. We selected two tiers to have italian chocolate buttercream filling and two to have vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam filling. We also went with marble poundcake and vanilla buttercream icing on the outside of the cake. We couldn't have been happier with the end result and our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! I think I ate three pieces before we finally called it a night. Our guests raved about how great the cake was and how beautiful it looked. Would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone!

When I think of wedding cake I think beautiful on the outside but dry on the inside. This was the complete opposite! The cake was moist and very tasty. Everyone thought we got a fondant cake because the outside icing was perfect, it wasn't it was buttercream! They did such a good job decorating the cake with the ribbon and accent dots along with the flowers we got from our florist. I would recommend Roma to anyone looking for a beautiful and tasty wedding cake!

Terrible experience with this bakery. I commissioned them to create a custom cake for my daughter's first birthday. It was supposed to have a theme of flowers (especially roses) and honeybees, with beautiful decorations. The owner sketched up a great idea and I was super excited. I received a cake with air brushed designs that were only outlined and looked blurry and rushed. It honestly looked like a little kid took a magic marker to the cake. I called the bakery to discuss where the communication failure happened and the owner got upset, told me there was nothing she could do and hung up on me. I couldn't believe this was her response, and that they were ok with a professional cake looking the way this one did, and to add insult to injury, they spelled my daughter's name incorrectly. There are beautiful cakes displayed on their website, but that is not at all what I received and the cake was very, very expensive. I would advise others not to use this bakery if they want a custom design.

Ordered a gender reveal cake (pink or blue on the inside) which they said they could do, cake was wrong and was just white cake on the inside. In addition, the cake was caving in on the inside (I took a picture for Yelp). I gave an honest yelp review of what happened (the company never apologized for ruining our gender reveal and never even offered a discount even though they admitted it was their fault at the time). The business owner, Franco P. replied to my review today with the following: 1/26/2016 •Noting better to do! U have a real job? I suggest u to find one u really need to fill up your time .notting more to say good luck & congrats for your stupidity ................
I have never seen such an unprofessional reply in my life. My family had used this bakery numerous times before too but never again. Avoid at all costs. Their pastries and cakes are way overpriced for average quality and clearly they have no clue how to do business. If they make a mistake, they do nothing to fix it and insult you. You are better off having no cake at all than wasting money at Roma Bakery in Blue Bell.
